Haykuro 6.0r1 Tweaked new update with stock boot and tones

new theme/build update haykuro's 6.0 with voice search and voice dialer and spare parts and also better dialer icon and contacts icon at least what I think all credit to haykuro not claming this mine once again a mixture removed the system ringtones alarms and notifications to free up some space
NOT SURE IF YOU NEED A WIPE BUT I DID ANYWAY SAME RULES APPLY NEED THE NEW SPL

I don't think you said this in the description but I am now getting 5 home screens and 5 icons per row in the drawer I believe is what it is called. I love it!!

Are we needing a wipe to flash this theme or no? Also the link to hardware keyboard correct is also the full theme with correction or just the speaker with keyboard correct?

How do I change the boot image? I don't really like the white Magic boot image, can someone make it so you get the HTC boot again?

Love the build. Does anyone know where I can find the stock HTC ringtones?

Will upload one with regular boot and ringtones and notifs soon forgot yo mention credits to dudefor the 5 screens

Why would you remove the stock ringtones..? Some people need it for message notifications. And the new boot screen looks ugly. IMO.

this update sounds sweat...does it have the home screen landscape mode icon bug fixed (i know there are ways of fixing this probelm but i dont know how to use adb)? kinda the only thing holding me back from 6.0r1

I recommend posting those screenshots on your first post. Looks so much better!!

Hello, guys!
I was cooking my own rom when I decided to change startup and shutdown sounds of the default Galaxy S animations. I was pretty happy about the result that I wanted to share it with you!

The startup theme I chose is from Ghost Trick. It's the sound you hear when turning "4 Minutes Before Death".
The shutdown theme is taken from openDesktop.org and is called "Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow".

Since many of you didn't like the startup sound in v1, I chose a softer one. The new startup theme is the Techland logo.

I'm not the owner of these sounds, I just edited them with Audacity to optimize the sound quality, volume and lenght.
I made two flashable zip files to use JUST with ClockWorkMod Recovery, one to install the theme (new_sounds_CWM.zip for v1 or new_sounds_v2_CWM.zip for v2) and one to revert the changes (default_sounds_CWM.zip).
This sound theme is meant to match only the default animations. If you're using a custom bootanimation, you won't hear the startup sound.
Please, use them at your own risk! These are my first flashable zips. Something could go wrong if you're unlucky so it's always good to have a nandroid backup, although I used a template as a base and tested both on my phone.
I really hope you enjoy it!

Works on captivate running cognition 4. You should post this in the captivate section I'm sure they would appreciate this as much as I do.

The shutdown sound is very nice, the boot sound... Less XD

Well, that wasn't meant to be a boot sound, but I like it!
P.S.: You may also change the PowerOn.wav from the zip with the one you want.

It should work... It would probably work even if you have a custom bootanimation and you enabled bootanimation sounds from speedmod tweaks but probably it won't have the same feel if you don't have the original ones!

no start up sound here but i do have custum bootanimation on. but the new shut down sound works , not bad with the darky flashin .

It should not be supposed to work if you're using a custom bootanimation, but there's a tweak in the SpeedMod kernel to enable sounds for them, though I haven't tried it yet.

Sounds bad! I guess I can't do anything about it... Though you can try removing your bootanimation.zip and see if you like the default animations with new sounds.

What is Project Linda? It is audio files of a female robotic voice announcing various actions on your S3. I used it on my Vibrant a couple of years ago and thought others might enjoy it. It is also in a Rom I put together, Gigajoule.
To get rid of the Linda Mod for the UI, flash your current Rom, with no wiping.​
Just flash through your favorite recovery, It will work on any rom, just has some TouchWiz specific sounds that if not needed will be ignored.

You will have some messaging and ringtone sounds that you can select, You should also have a couple system sounds in a ladies robotic voice. Like lock and unlock

The "power off" is hilarious. Thanks :lol:

woudl you think I could just push the original sounds back as a CWM flashable if linda and I have a falling apart? Form the looks, thats all that the mod really is. just pushes these into the appropriate folders.

Thanks man. I just wanted to make sure. I like the sounds, but didnt want to have to re-flash so I just broke them out and re-named my UI before copying over. saved the rest in my other media files I keep so I have a chit ton of ringers.

[mod] Misc system sound mods

I made a post on a Portal audio mod for the S-Pen and thought I would search and find some sweet sounds for different system sounds. Use a Root Browser (I used Rom Toolbox) to move them into:
System
Media
Audio
Ui
You must be rooted and have the permissions set to rw- r-- r-- on the sound files.
I will update and post new mods as I find them. Please feel free to post your mods or make suggestions.
Here is the post of my Portal S-Pen sound mod.
chuko303 has kindly shared a few very good sound mods in this post as well. Please check them out if you like the system sounds mods.

Here is a low battery file that I haven't yet heard yet due to the awesome battery our phone has. It is the Pac-Man death sound we all know well.
My phone finally got down to 15% batter last night and personally I think the Pac-Man sound is f'ing sweet for the low battery sound.

If anyone is a fan of the animated show Archer then you will love this mod pack that I am working on. I currently have multiple mods for different actions but I am not quite finished yet. Below is what I have so far.
S-Pen Detach 1 - Archer "Wait I had something for this."

scratch the following. I moved them, set the permissions, deleted the noti2 files and renamed the new ones to replace them. they then showed up in the spen notification selector in settings.
I'm fairly new at all of this modding, but getting better at it I think. I copied the files over and extracted them, moved them to the system/media/audio/ui folder, replaced the files, and set permissions on the files to rw-r--r-- but it's still not making the sound when I attach and detach the pen. I can even select the files from the ui folder and play the sounds, so I know the sound is there. Is there something I'm not doing or should be doing? Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks, I'm currently working on a full archer sound theme. I've got a few done at the moment. I'll start posting them here when I get off work today. Be warned now, some of them may be slightly suggestive so use them at your own risk

The Archer sound theme is up and labeled. I have a few alternative sounds for some of them that I will be adding as well.

Nice mods, do you happen to know what file the phone dialer water drop sound is? I would love to change it.

Okay, I think I found the file you asked about. The one I found is called Dialer_new.ogg. if that's not the one, would you be talking about the double beep that's made when a call is started?

No, they are not flashable. Just have to move the files with a root browser to the files mentioned in the op...

[Tutorial] on lock and unlock sounds[MOD]

Here, is a easy way to change lock and unlock sounds on stock lock screen. I founds this in a lot of different places with Google search and decided it would be nice to post it here for people that do not know.
1.) Make a backup like you always should.
2.)navigate to system/media/audio/ui
3.)make a backup of your original sounds by putting .bak at the end of them.(I always make a folder in the sd and put them there to avoid clutter after I make the backup)
4.place your new files into the ui folder and set permissions to 644 and reboot.
5.) All done!

Actually I was thinking the same thing. I would like to have a whole system sound change. What I mean by that is if I want all my system sounds such as lock, unlock, and the sound on button press and low battery to all have a new sound. Just have to convert some sounds to ogg format first. If I do it would be all in one package though. (E.g. all mgs package or all star wars etc etc).
