I don't know a whole lot about this ROM or team passion, but I thought maybe starting a thread about it we could all learn a little / keep track of updates and progress. From what I've heard, they haven't built anything using our newly acquired source, but those who have ran what they have so far seem to love it.. What you guys think?

Its bad azz! but suffers from the same low call volume has iisues with wifi and I noticed my phone was getting hot also.
Other then that its a beautiful rom.
This install method is awesome but not all of the features worked for me... also a lot of ppl have reported that it doesn't boot ... I think the solution to this is u have to come from a 4.0.4 rom ...

I've tired flashing chimera atleast 10 times and I've never. Gotten it to work. Not even after countless help from other members, so I just gave up. Lol I heard it's a beast of a rom. Look up "ics passion" group on Facebook. That's their official group and they also have a website. I believe it's team-passion dot com but I don't really quite remember lol

If you are coming from a tw ics rom it most likely will fail. I flashed it from stock ics and it failed 4 times i then flashed a cm9 and the directly flashed this and it booted fine. I heard the dev say this as well
Also when u are installing in the beginning in aroma installer u can choose custom install and u can pick radios.
I was only getting signal with Kid radio

Trying it out now but rotation is backwards. Just disabled auto rotate now I'll check out the rest. Flashed over latest aokp not cm9 so that probably caused it.
While I appreciate the extra work making it with aroma, I really wish they didn't force their radio choices on you. I was doing just fine with my radio.

Using root explorer you can push your choice of kernel or radio in its respective places just looked in it to fix auto rotate you'd need to take libakm.so from cm 9 and push it to system/libs.

I got the same thing when I flashed it. I pulled the PopupBrowser.apk from the zip and used Root Explorer to put it in the system/app folder then set permissions reboot and it works.
I have since removed them because they were not useful to me.
Never mind the below info. I found it on the play store and installed it. It works well. I should have googled first.
I know it says Tw Roms only but I thought I'd give it a go. I'm running Paranoid Android 2.22. I tried both flashing the zip through cwm, didn't work. Then extracted the apk's, put them in system/apps, set permissions, and..... no go. Ooh well. The video looked cool and I can't tell you how many times I've brought up system manager to go back and forth between two programs to copy numbers or other info.
Thanks for the heads up, man. Cool app. Anyone know if other programs that can do this same thing?

Like bone stock? No, you will need to be rooted and remove the odex files as well as the apks before installing. My rom is based on stock deodexed MA7 and it works fine.

Honestly every ROM we have has something unique to offer. If you want spen functionality and wifi calling stick with touch wiz. Jedi and tweaked are both great and by far the most popular, but like I said the others are nice too. Ultimately no one can tell you which ROM to run and this thread will get locked by a mod eventually because these always turn into ROM bashing which just discourage development.
The best bet is to make a backup flash a ROM and run it for a couple days then if you want to try something different give that one a shot.

Best Touchwiz Rom - Tweaked
Best AOSP Rom - Slimbean (most stable for me, AOKP would be the best if it didn't have the wakelock issue)
Edit* Nvm slimbean is starting to give me some FC issues
