I Have A Factory Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Rooted On 4.1.2
I Tried Triangle Away And Got Counter Flash Down But System Says "Modified" Not "Official"
I Want To Do A Fresh Restore And Have Root But Without Loss Of Warranty

Question about brick in firmware 4.1

Hi.
I bought a galaxy note 2 and received today.
I'm reading about a possible brick in some firmwares.
I wonder if there is a way to eliminate this possible brick or compulsorily have to change the ROM?
If i need to change the ROM, the first step is to install the root, ask:
Mobile Odin Pro inserts the root, clockwordmod and ROMs, or is better i use GalaxyToolKit?

Brick issue is in 4.1.1 roms only..4.1.2 roms are patched with this issue.
So update ur phone to latest 4.1.2 rom if u r still on 4.1.1..

Yes..updating to latest 4.1.2 will solve this issue

yes!its the safest and most followed way of rooting and going custom rom

Hello Everyone..
I have ported Beanstack Rom From S2 to Galaxy Grand Duos according to this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2545618
Now i want to test it but i don't my mobile right now....Since my relative has taken it to trip he is out for 1 week:crying:
How to check If the port works right now?? Is There any way to check?? Plz Help

Yes it will save the mobile if Nandriod Backup is Done but its better if u keep a working ROM in Ext SD Card....

Thanks a Lot Buddy..That means Grand Duos is not ur primary phone?

I use grand for only whatsapp fb and all social network and playing some casual games....for calling and other msg..i use samsung star nxt (Gt-s5233s)
Sometimes i use it for calling though if stars battery drained out....

I flash the mod Note 3 Air Command [ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2794785 ] on my Note 8.0 N5100 (with 3G), Android Kitkat Russian) but when i turn on wi-fi, doesen't work, turn off. What can i do? Please help me to install this mod, i really want it, I reinstalled the ROM and install again the mod, but again doesen't work wi-fi.

You need to flash the correct Rom for that because there are a lot of changes in framework.
You need CivZ 4.4.2 rom for that...

Check the PM I sent you. Should work on stock rom to get WiFi working.

A tutorial for how want Air Command on Stock ROM
"Your Note 8.0 must have root and custom recovery.
Through the custom recovery, make a backup, flash this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2775998 and restarts. Then flash this mod http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2794785
You should get Air Command in the rom now, use S Pen Launcher to configure the opening of the same extraction of the S Pen."

Check the Aircommand thread in Dev section. Left you a reply there with some info.

Its 4.4.2 and primary language is chinse.u have to change it to english.

i think to flash this you need to extract the recovery.img file, flash it through recovery and then flash the rom...backup first

i flashed the rom through cwm, still waiting for the rom to boot...i will update...

Pls do.

the rom doesnt boot, it stays on samsung logo...i tried flashing it over a lollipop rom and over a kitkat rom....the same result....dont waste your time

Not MIUI 6, is MIUI v5 themed like 6, I've seen a lot of those roms...

your right elias,, its too fast for the rom to be released. I coould not believe it, the time i saw the MIU V6 post, I think the title of the thread need to be changed, Its making people believe its miu v6, while it is not...

Dear OP, please have some knowledge while posting any thread to Developer region. You may be the reason for bricking many devices. If you have tested this ROM, at least share the status or procedure to flash the rom instead of sharing a whole thread in a single Link.
BTW, we already have i9500 MIUI V5 thread but it is still in progressive way. Do check and Hope u understand.:good:
