[Q] Is it possible to port note 10.1 multi window? - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Well, I've seen a video and it is awesome. Would love to have it in my note 2.
Too small screen? I don't think so. We all have mini browser window and is quite useful.

There is a thread on how to do this in the general section.

I'll look for it. Thanks!

The stock 4.1 launcher has 5 homescreens. You can't add or remove screens. The "pinch and zoom" you describe is not a feature in stock Android (never has been), and is often added by third-party launchers.
You can download one of the many popular third-party launchers in the Play Store. They offer these features and more if you'd like them.
There are many different launchers that change the way your Android phone look and interact, but if you like light weight and fast, try the Holo or Xperia launcher, link in my signature.
WELCOME to the world of Android. Don't forget to read the first sticky thread of this Q&A section.

Personally, I recommend Apex over Nova.

Andriod has so many options for everything, Try as many as you can to find whats best for you.
Apex + Nova launchers are a good place to start if the stock launcher is not for you.
this is how you delete extra homescreen
I have a tab 2, this Samsung ui is great I see no need to replace it, here is how thou remove the extra homescreens, lay 3 or 4 fingers on the home screen and bring them quickly together like a pinch, try out till you get it right, you can thrn hold and drsg the uneeded screens to the garbage can. Ez pleezy.

This thread has been dead for 6 months and you bump it to say that? Something that has absolutely nothing to do with this thread?

I must agree. This was exactly the answer I was looking for, for my Note 10.1, and I think it was exactly on point for this thread. Too bad it wasn't answered sooner.

[Q] Can we get the S6 keyboard?

I was wondering if there's any way to get the version of Samsung's keyboard on the S6 on my Note 4?
I think it is already out there somewhere.

Does my Note 4 have to be rooted to install these Galaxy S6 apps?
From the instructions it looks like you do.

The instructions are very basic, they simply tell me where to place the files.
My note 4 IS rooted, I placed the 2 files for the keyboard in the correct places, but.. now what? d: It appears my Samsung Keyboard is entirely gone when I go to choose my input method, I have just Google and Swype.
Any tips? Thanks!
Doesn't look much different than the note 4 version.

True, I just found a post where someone had a flashable version, and honestly the subtle visual appearance changes are more than enough for me to do whatever it took to get the updated version! I love it, it's just cleaner than before
Lol ok as long as you're happy. It's just the one button that's a little different looking but seems to have the same function.

Air Command in AOSP

Hey guys! I recently ordered a P600, and have been looking for a Nougat rom that has full S-Pen support, with Air Command specifically. Sadly, in all the third party ports they simply have the button floating on the screen, not appearing when you click the button on the S-Pen. Is there another app that works like this, or is somebody working on porting the tab S3 rom? Thanks in advance

Samsung Dex on Native Mobile Screen

I am not sure if someone asked this before. I tried searching over the Posts but unlucky.
I am wondering is it possible to switch between Samsung One UI and DEX on the Mobile native screen just like on Tab S6?
Is there any way without root?

Not yet, maybe never.
I want this too, but the feature with good lock are a close second. You just don't have the task bar
Ladies and gentlemen, I beg you, on samsung galaxy Tab 4 you can turn on descope mode dex, it runs on on Note 9, I would welcome it, thank you for any advice, there is a lot of how to turn the phone into descope, but I wonder just this, I'm definitely not the only one who thought and who would like it

Question Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 question

As the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has two home screens, is it possible to set up 2 different home screens using Nova Launcher? Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I, too, have been trying without success. It is annoying when I have my large home screen looking great but the smaller, closed screen, looked squashed. Here's hoping someone picks up on this and makes it possible!

I think it's a limitation of android not yet optimized for multi screen displays

You are more than likely correct. We will have to wait until more companies start making multi-screen mobiles.
Thanks for replying!
