Haptic feedback - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Is there a way to increase Haptic feedback or a file I can tweak? I have it all the way up in the settings menu and even tried having the setting about half way and it still doesn't compare to ICS.
Am I missing something? Any tips?
I'm on stock rooted JB.

Thanks for the input, but I've already done that. I'm wondering if I can also increase the intensity in the build.prop or something.

Bump! Anybody?

How to disable brightness control for the notification bar?

When I have my phone in my pocket my brightness sometimes is changed. Is there an app to disable brightness control from the notification bar. I want keep the brightness level as low as possible all the time to save my battery life. Please help. Thanks.

The better question would be: why is your screen on in your pocket?

You can always go back to eclair

Put it on auto-brightness. It will lower the brightness in a dark area like your pocket. It'll disable the brightness control also. Hope this helps.

Can't you change this in the settings?
I would like to disable this control too.
Can anyone help please?
Is there any hidden setting to disable it?

+1 to this... might not be the best solution for somebody trying to always keep it at minimal brightness, but, to my knowledge, it is the only way to disable the swipe of the notification bar to change brightness...

Root explorer or similar and delete brightness.apk from /system/app

How to turn off back light keys AOKP

Has anyone been able to accomplish this? Edit custom levels under display to 0 buttons does not stick for me. It worked for a second at one point but not anymore.
EDIT: I meant to make subject title AOKP

Make sure you have at least 6 levels and it'll stick

Tried that, sticks but light doesn't go off.

Using Nova Launcher
Hold on Screen > Add Shortcuts > Activities > Galaxy SII Settings
It is under Sensors
It was in the AOKP thread
Thank you so much for this. I have been looking for this functionality for about two weeks now.
Without using a launcher you could.download BLN control from apparently market and just click deactivate lol

Shorten vibration for notifications

Anyone know how to make the vibrate shorter for things like sms without a separate sms app?
The whole vibrate for 4 seconds every time a message comes in is ridiculous. What a battery kill.

You have a custom vibration maker pre installed on your gn2

Yup, there are several presets as well as intensity settings and the option to bind with ring and to turn it off. Settings - sound

the vibration settings is only for calls. notifications always have the long vibration no matter which setting you select. i've read that light flow will do it but haven't tried it myself.

There's and update? And that should be controllable from Settings > Sound > System > and uncheck keytones. Or, go to Language and Input and select the keyboard you use. There will be sound settings in there, possibly under the advanced option (if given.)
Thanks worked great
