Hey,
Ive got a big Problem.
Ive flashed my HOX with the Insert Coin Rom 10.7.1. Everything worked well.
But then i wanted to flash another kernel to get access to the cpu core clocking.
i wanted to flash franco kernel r21. so i downloaded the kernel and the modules and did the step-by-step tutorial.
but something went wrong. after the reboot my HOX has a bootloop. and i cant get into the bootloader. it just shows the htc logo.
when i connect the HOX with usb to my PC it makes the "something plugged in"-sound on my computer ^^. but nothing happens. When i try to power off the HOX it just restarts. it is on as long as the battery has capacity.
Could i do anything to get it back to life?
Sorry for my bad English.
Try issuing from pc
Fastboot erase cache
Fastboot reboot-bootloader
if you want to go to bootloader or
Fastboot reboot
to reboot into your rom.

the problem is:
fastboot just shows:
"waiting for device"
Try holding down power button+Vol down button for approx. 10 seconds. That should take you to bootloader.

Then plug the cable in. Go to fastboot. You should see fastboot usb on the phone.
now ivegot a bigger problem. after flashing a newer version of insertcoin (13.0.0) i updated hboot to 1.31, i had no network connection anymore. then i wanted to flash the stock kernel but now it restarts again and again and shows me for about 2 minutes a black screen with a blue screen phone and a red triangle with a red "!" in it.
i think i did nothing good. :/

he was wrong. You have to wait for it OTA refreshing
what means OTA Refresh?
Custom kernels don't work on the new base for your information.
ok. so how i can flash the stock kernel? i cant get into fastboot mode, because it just shows the warning sign i told you above.

Ok guys I search this site all the time but this is my 1st post so please bear with me..
I have a Htc Incredible 2, rooted using revolutionary, I flashed a new ROM (Gingerbangsense) last night using Clockwork Mod, the screen stuck on the green htc letters, I did a battery pull and now the phone will not start up. I cant get into bootloader either. It charges, when i connect to pc it says does not recognize device, same with CMD
I've called Verizon before because i've dropped the phone but they fixed it before, i'm afraid if I try to return it because it's still under warranty, they'll blame it on me for dropping it
PLEASE TELL ME THERE'S A FIX
Htc screen
Pull battery then hold power button and volume down button at same time, will get you to bootloader, then select recovery, i assume you have clockworkmod recovery, if you have a backup just restore it.
YOUR SCREEN might be shot if you dropped it
make sure usb debugging is enabled
---------- Post added at 11:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:20 PM ----------
do you have the htc drivers installed.
do you have sdk-tools installed
ifso you should be able to use adb to get where you want.
Screen isn't shot I know for sure. I did the battery pull and tried power+volume down and nothing. I cant get into the bootloader. I have android SDK and it doesn't recognize the device
boy, thats weird!!! are you changing directory when you use adb???
cd c:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools ( enter )
then adb reboot bootloader
I'm a little new to the android SDK but i was using CMD and nothing would work. All the fastboot files were where they needed to be. I think it was completely bricked. Even now it wont even charge with a wall charger. I've heard about emmc chips frying. I just got back from verizon and told them that the phone lagged so bad that it wouldn't even boot. Theyr'e sending me a new one under the 1 year warranty
Thanks for the response! I do appreciate it
yeah best for you it doesn't boot, they won't know a thing
Hi, I have little problem with my xepria arc (unlocked booloader). a flash kernel by doomlord (doomkernel v20) - it's workig good, but I install incorrect zip from SDcard. Now I can run only recovery. Flashtool and fastboot aren't working, and I can flash new ROM, but without flastool i can't. Someone who help me pls? Thanks
I don't think that it's possible to break flashmode and fastboot mode with a single zip file. Pull out your battery for 10 seconds then put it back in and connect your phone (without turning it on) to a PC while holding "back" button. Green LED should illuminate. If it doesn't then repeat but this time hold "menu" button, blue LED should light up. If it doesn't work for you then I don't know how to help. Maybe you should reinstall drivers on your PC or try with different USB port or even another PC.
So, I try all my USB ports, two PC, PC suite and update service, flashtool,etc...but when I hold BACK button and connet USB cable , BLUE led only flash and on screen display DoomKernel logo and nothing else. I try repair my ARC for one week, but I'm hopeless :crying:

YOUR PHONE MUST BE TURNED OFF
Seriously turn it off and connect while holding back or menu if green or blue led flashes then its working.
-_- YES PHONE IS TURN OFF while I hold back or menu key and connect USB cable.....
And it's turning on by itself? Really weird...

Only thing that comes to my mind is flashing a ROM that's compatible with your kernel and then trying again.
so problem is,that i need flash new ROM/kernel, but flashtool and fastboot aren't working. When I turn off my device, hold a back/menu key and connect USB cable, don't turn on flashtool/fastboot mode....only display on screen kernel logo and then device reboot and hent repeat reboot .... I try install this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1994130 but it doesn'n work....I search on google and here too but nothing didn't work .... YES, I need flashing rom compatible with my kernel (I have it) but I don't get to to flastool/fastboot.... srry for my bad english
You said you flashed a wrong zip file. And the thread that you mentioned above is for xperia pro.Am I correct?
And you are using an Arc!
Bomber!
Try uninstalling the flashtool.Redownload another version of flashtool.
Run the drivers.Switch off your device.Press back button and see if this newer version picks up your phone.
Sent from my Xperia Arc using xda app-developers app

But you don't need a flashtool or anything to flash a ROM because you have a working kernel with a recovery. Download a flashable zip file put it on your sd wipe all from the recovery and install your ROM.
yes,but i don't find flashable zip, who work on my kernel.....and this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1994130 is for arc too(during instalation i can choose from ARC,ARC S, PRO,NEO,RAY etc...)...
Do you know where I dowload flashable zip for my kernel?
Thx.
Its a GB kernel right? If so then you can try any GB stock based ROM. For example this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2083286
No no...it´s older kernel than GB ....
No it's not. If you are using Doomkernel then its 100% Ginger Bread based. There is nothing older than GB on Arc because this phone was released with this version of android back in 2011. Install ROM from my previous post and have fun with your device.

i need to go to official firmware to install a custom firmware, cause of the bootloop problem..
I have used MSM tool and it ended successfully. Now, I can boot to fastboot and recovery, but stuck in oneplus logo when I try to boot into system.. Several trials but same result.
shut your phone down and please go to this https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/op3-collection-unbrick-tools-t3896722 and download android 8.0 version 5.08
unbrick tool and please run it and get back to me if you have any luck
Thanks so much , but same result.
are you the original owner or not because if you are the original owner and have all the information about the phone contact oneplus and they will help you better because on here if it is hardware there is not a lot we can do

Also try and get into fastboot mode and try and flash the boot.img and system.img and user data.img and cache.img manually
Have you got it sorted
No. Maybe a hardware issue. Thanks anyway

Like a miracle, my oneplus 3 is alive again. I used from https://forum.xda-developers.com/one...tools-t3896722 the repacked OOS905.
I got boot into system but the screen wasn't responssive.
I removed the back cover and reconnected all the conectors.
Then, turned on the device and the screen was responssive and I was able to turn on the OEM unlock and USB debugging.
Unlocked the bootloader and flashed Evolution X latest Q build.
All is working now.

Hey guys,
So this weekend I decided to give lineage OS 16 a try on my Xiaomi 5, the process went smoothly I think, but the battery life is really bad, so I wish to try other ROM.
Now the thing is, I cannot connect to my computer (And I could with the previous MIUI), and if I run adb devices or fastboot devices (When on fastboot) nothing shows up. I have android debug enabled.
Any ideas on what this could be?

You have twrp installed. So you don't need adb for next ROM. Try without GApps to save battery.

Hey. Thanks for the answer, I am still a bit noob on this so I am not sure I completely understand. Yes indeed I have used twrp , but I used the command fastboot boot twrp.img . Before that, I also did fastboot flash recovery <recovery_filename>.img. Does this mean that I have twrp installed or that I booted directly from it from my computer? I ask this because, when I go to recovery (Hold Power + Volume Up), I dont go to TRWP menu, but rather to the Mi-Recovery 3 menu.
Thank you!

So turns out, if I use my old cable (Which is a bit ruined at on end), it works. But if I use a new cable, that I just bought, it does not work. That is super weird right?
Thank you anyway. I am flashing Pixel Experience at the moment. ANd now I am TWRP installed.
Hi there,
I am having troubles with my phone (LMG810EAW) after uninstalling Magisk per app. The phone was Magisk-rooted and the bootloader is unlocked.
It constantly repeats rebooting, telling me that my bootloader is unlocked and then just showing the "No command"-Screen.
I do not have ADB-connection and the device is not recognized as USB device by Win10 at all.
None of the Vol+/Vol-/PWR combinations worked.
Except I can go into bootloader with VOL- & PWR and shortly releasing PWR at LG logo. But there it only shows the "Factory Reset" options.
Is there any option I can debrick my phone?
Thanks!
Best regards,
LeFish
I just got into fastboot-mode by fiddling arround with the phone!!!
Maybe this helps other to debrick their phone:
*The phone was plugged into USB of the computer.
*I pressed Vol- & PWR while on "No command"-screen
*The screen turned off
*Instantaniously, I released PWR, kept holding Vol-
Suddenly I was in fastboot-mode and the phone was recognized in CMD/fastboot.
Trying to get on from there - I'll keep reporting.
Best regards
LeFish

Just extract your boot IMG from your kdz and fastboot flash it. What's your reason for unrooting? If you want safety net to pass without magisk hide, you'll also need to relock bootloader

Or just flash the magisk patched boot again for now
With holding Vol+ & Lock Button and then at the LG logo releasing the Lock Button, I managed to get into the Download-Mode.
I then installed LGup-LAB-Edition. Afterwards I could flash the stock 10r ROM. Everything is working now.

Sorry to bring up an old post, but what was on your screen when you got into fastboot?
Got the same problem with my LG V50 I got from China when I tried to remove Magisk as well, now I'm stuck in the no command boot loop. Tried all of the button combination and I'm still stuck "No Command" screen, tried to manually check adb devices to see if it was detected every time it rebooted but still no luck.

and no reason other than im an idiot and hit uninstall after getting the phone back from a friend who "found" it with a newly broken screen and no battery or back, replaced screen and was getting " usb audio device not compatible with this device" when i would attach the second screen. I figured well , start from scratch cuz im an idiot and very green at rooting and flashing and this other dude raped my phone. That being said could educate me PLEASE on how to fastboot flash and would that be easier than Qfil or is that what your referring to....LOL. See? GREEEEEEn.
