[Q] Flashing a foreign language firmware

Hi good people of XDA,
I bought my Galaxy Note 2 in the UK but the firmware does not support the handwriting recognition in Czech language /unlike Notes 2 sold in Czech Republic/. I found the official Czech firmware online but am not sure if it's safe to flash onto the UK model? Obviously dont want to end up with a brick. Any ideas? Thank so much!
You can safely flash roms of any country.

On this web they suggest its not advisable: http://www.geekyandroid.com/2012/10...e-download-jelly-bean-4.1.1.html#comment-form
IMP : It is assumed that you are sound enough to not flash a rom that is not for your device. Ex, flashing German rom on US device.

No no. If you have n7100 then you can flash any rom for n7100.
Us devices are different than international version.

As long as you flash a ROM of the same phone model. Sometimes countries have sppecial model just for them. For example China have the N7108 which is only for China Mobile.
But if the phone is N7100 there is no problem.

[Q] Origional t mobile uk firmware

Hi Guys,
I need some help. I want to revert back to the original firmware on my Galaxy Note 2 N-7105 LTE. I am on T-Mobile UK. If someone has an unrooted GN2, could you please post the unmodified firmware details. Alternatively, if someone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance

Sammobile firmware look for n7105. You need the ee uk firmware. There is no t-mobile firmware for note2 lte as it's a 4g phone. Tmo and orange combine to ee when it comes to 4g

[Request] Could someone please post an unbranded firmware?

Could someone please post an ubranded firmware for i9195? Pre-rooted is OK. I guess you can only obtain a copy of firmware after rooting, right?
Look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2375413
You can google for the region codes. Mine unbranded is ORX (various european countries).

[Q] updated phone while on holiday in Asia broke s note

Hi
Just got back to UK from holiday in Asia
Now S Note is broken, just crashes. I think this is connected to language selection.
I have 2 downloaded input languages for samsung keyboard, English UK and Thai but cannot delete either. other languages i download can be deleted.
There are 2 possible reasons for the Thai having being downloaded
The guy where I bought the local sim in Bangkok downloaded it or the more likely reason of a major update being installed while in Bangkok.
I have tried factory reset but Thai still downloaded.
any ideas how I can remove Thai download?
phone details are:
Note 2 n7105
android: 4.1.2
baseband: N7105NEDMJ2
Build Number: JZ054KN7105XXDMJ1
Thanks for any help.

My phone is not rooted and I do not mind either way.
I have reinstalled using Kies still got dual language though.
Many thanks
U can check your csc And see what's your phone sales code. U can change the sakes code by entering a code in the phone dialer and then update the firmware. Cant remember of u need root
