I've been trying to find a bootanimation.zip of the stock SAMSUNG glow, or the stock boot animation that comes with LJ7
(This doesn't show the glow, but should help get what I mean across)

No other boot animations really catch my eye and I don't really like the "android" one that displays with kernels with the feature enabled.
/picky
A tad bigger than what you have displayed but see what this does for ya

this is the glowing samsung bootani. i've been searching a couple of days for stock lj7 boot ani, haven't found anything yet. closest i am at now is another gs3 boot ani that i came across in one of our threads in the themes sections. if you can find a stock lj7, that would be much appreciated if you can post.
Do ICS boot animations work on JB? IF NOT anyone have an international Samsung boot animation for JB?

You should be able to rip it out of a rom that has it, then push it to your system, over writing the existing one.

No ideas on how to do this... if someone could do it that would be great... the international boot animation zip existed on the old FreeGS3 ROM.
the problem your running into is its not called bootanimation iirc
its a .qmg thing samsung does. when I find the instructions I will try to remember to post the file names.

Hi guys, just created my first bootscreen. It's a walking Android, ripped from the GIF by Cramit:
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2489/4219688545_13cb6f0e0f_o.gif
(the one above is Cramit's original one)
I cropped it to 320x480 and removed the frames where the robot is "generating" (translucid). All you have now is the fully-formed (opaque) android walking, in the correct screen size. Here it is:

The flashable file is attached to the post.
Most of you should know how to flash a bootscreen, but, for the newbies, the instructions:
1 - Download the file to a folder of your choice
2 - Launch adb from the command line
3 - Type: adb push FOLDER-WHERE-YOU-DOWNLOADED/bootanimation.zip /data/local
You can also try putting it in your SD Card and moving it to /data/local via Root Explorer, but I can't guarantee it'll work.
I am also thinking about releasing a version merged with one of these Google boot screens:
or
So let me know if there's any interest in such versions.
Regards!

You mean just the Google bootscreen or the Android animation fading to the Google name? If you want only the Google logo with the loading circle, here it is. Tested and working on my 32A. Instructions for installation are the same as the OP's ones.
Thanks mate!!!
Hey everyone!! Flashing this will give you the new CM10 boot animation! I'm sure noobnl will put it It very soon. This has been tested on Cm10 Nightly build 08242012. It should work on every other build too. I dont see why not. Just not sure about TouchWiz Roms.But until then here it is!! I really didn't do much I just packed it into a flashable zip!! So all credit is to CM and the people who made the boot animation. If it works on other ROM's then let me know!!
A thanks would be appreciated

Just extract the zip I provided and then in /system/media/ open the zip and edit the .jpg files and paint the cyanogemod part black? That's all I can think of. But will take some time to do. There is plenty of jpegs

This new CM10 bootanimation is very nice ! Thanks a lot for that :good:
I was looking for a Black Themed AOKP Bootanimation to use with Black Bean AOKP. This is not the official one, but a custom one with the new mascot. The Logo is made by ThaPHLASH and the boot animation was made by bagheadinc. All I did was resize it to be used with the Nexus.All credit goes to AOKP developers and haPHLASH and t bagheadinc. This is not a flashable zip. You will need to replace your old one with this new one. Before doing so plz make a backup.

Live Wallpaper?
I just wanted to say that these boot animations are so sexy!! Seriously, they are beautiful. They compliment my gnex running black bean so perfectly! I was wondering if it would be possible to convert this into a live wallpaper perhaps?
Is it possible to get them in 720p? Thanks.
This is a downanimation I made originally for myself for the great Stock+GE UI V2.1.0 ROM by 'tmlhodge' as an alternative for the default white HTC animation.
Short and sweet (it only loops once)...

Since I've only ever used it on this ROM, it's only tested on Sense ROM..
Dropbox Link - flash in recovery
As said above, this works on Sense - it may not work on other ROMs. If it doesn't work you will need to tell me the name of the downanimation (this one is hTC_downanimation.zip) for your ROM and I'll add the flashable zip to this post, as to be honest - I can't be arsed flashing and testing on all ROMs - I just made this for myself and thought someone else may like it for themselves..
Update link please!!!!!!

Im running version 4.1.2 with Nova Launcher (TouchWiz) on a Windmobile phone the stock ROM and was wondering if is it possible to mod the toggles so they look something like this:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Or am I stuck with the way it looks now?
Ive tried searching the GN2 forum and didnt have any luck finding anything.
Ive seen the 23 toggle mod but it isnt the same. If I am able to add this feature to the sock ROM my phone will be perfect.
thanks.

I'm working on it for my ROM, but since that guide isn't for TW and or layouts are very different then theirs it's a lot of changes from the guide that are needed and honestly a pain (for me at least). Go ahead and give it a shot you may be able to pull it off
