Is the slow mo video recording a TW based app? Might it be able to use it on CM10 or any other non TW based build?
It wont be a Note II without the slow mo camera, at least for me of coz.

And the NoteII gallery app to the US variants?
The slow motion/fast motion is an incredible feature.
This is indeed not compatible with out phone
That mod should Work on ours galaxy With Stock Sammy
I can confirm that this mod works also on our phone
[APP][MOD] SIII AOSP Camera v1.62
Camera Modules are the same or International and US Version.
I prefer the AOSP MOD Camera it's perfect for CM10 and there's only a Bug in that versio now you cannot record 1080p gallery crash but the rest works perfect..
I was notified its incompatible with ICS. Should work on JB leaks.
Sent from my sPhone 3
Anyone know if it is possible to get the JB camera to work in ICS? If so, any tips on how to do it?
I want features the camera offers, but all JB ROMS seem to have a lot of people that have battery issues. I"m on the on in my sig at the moment, and battery just is not settling down for me.
if you're talking about the TouchWiz camera that's on Jellybean (the version of the camera in Serenity ROM), then i'm afraid that i'm pretty sure there isn't any difference in the camera software, except that the Note 2's camera added the slow/fast motion recording for video and such as well. If you use a Jellybean ROM based off of a leaked Galaxy S3 build of JellyBean, it doesn't have those features, either.

Actually, there is one difference that is the particular reason I am using hte JB ROM (which battery sucks on): When recording video, you can pause the recording and restart it. The other cameras do nto have this, and if you have a period you don't want to record, you must stop and restart, ending up wiht videos you must stitch together.
Well, I guess I'll just need to wait for the official JB for the SGS III. I've been on Serenity for a few weeks, but it's starting to give me trouble. Going back to Ariel.
Hi everyone...
I've got a rooted S3 running CM11.
Since rooting, I've replaced the camera with one that can take Photosphere pictures.
The one other thing I'd really like to be able to do is take slow motion video.
I've found hacks where the 4.1.2 camera has been patched with functionality from the Note3, but I can't find a stand-alone camera app that would work.
Does anyone have a suggestion for running a slow-motion camera on the S3?
Thanks.
Is the S3 camera only able to work with TW ROM's? I love the colorpoint feature of the S3 cam and not impressed with the Google cam, or would rather have both for different uses.

Hi Everybody,
I really like the AOSP Based ROMS better than Touchwiz. But this one issue makes me keep getting back to Touchwiz ROMS.
I use Snapchat video recording regularly, but I can't record 10 second long videos unless I use a Touchwiz ROM.
The problem is, Snapchat has a file size limit of 2,5 MB, and because we don't have the stock video drivers i guess, CyanogenMod, Omni, SlimROM (or any other AOSP based rom for that matter) has a file size bigger than 2,5 MB on Snapchat. As a result, you can only record 2 or 3 seconds of video and you therefore you can't properly record snapchat videos.
Is there any way to lower the video resolution (or size) on Snapchat.
Maybe there's some files I can tweak, some parameters I can change and the Camera Recording output has a lower resolution?
Can anyone help me? I really like the Vanilla Lollipop experience on Note II and I want to use it.
