The battery life just blows me away. A full day of near constant use with 3 hrs of screen time, and I am still at 20%? Thats insane! This ohone is made of amazing.

Yep. First phone I actually can't kill the entire battery in a day. My onite brick extended battery on my nexus never lasted like this, and that's with a smaller screen. This device seems very efficient. I couldn't be more pleased to finally not have to sweat battery life. It was, by far, my biggest headache and disappointment with every other phone.

I'm pretty much on wifi all day..work and home..imagine what I get. I had 6 plus hours of screen time and 4% left the other day. Over an hour of phone calls. Streamed stuff here and there. Lots of bluetooth. 3g is the battery killer.

Haha. Dont worry. Gamermod will follow in time man. We are in the middle of a move, so it will be a bit. At some point I will do a heimdall partitions dump to see if I still have the preload partition to mess with. If not I may have another trick up my sleve for getting this set up the way I like. I have noticed the system partiton may not be limited on this phone... like I said, I need to do a heimdall dump before I know anything there.
I might even work on my own script similar to placebo for this phone... imagine the battery then.

This is what I got after using it for watching a lot of videos on youtube, take some pictures/1080p video, listen to music and some web browsing over wifi. Not data connection and brightness in automatic ( used it indoors and outdoors )
4 hours screen time I think its pretty decent, its almost what I used to get with my galaxy note.
So very impressed with the battery, becouse I always heard that it sucked. Whats more, I already bought one 2000mA becouse of these comments. I guess I will get even better battery life then

Lmao this phone wouldn't even last that long if it sad in airplane mode that entire time. Post actual screen shots with the corresponding screen on time, and any other details. Unless you have an extended battery, this phones average screen on time is 3.5-4.5 hours with the best setup. Which means you barely even touched the phone in that 4 days.
It's fishy enough that the screen on bar from that picture is missing..

I also have 7000mah by zerolemon for about 3 months now. I ordered it a amazon for $31.99 free shipping. It comes with a nice case. So far so good i get about 2-3 days on heavy use. If you don't mind a bulky and heavier phone then you should give this battery a try. :highfive:
hey guys I bought a white one for my s3 but realized i didnt need it ... if anyone is interested shoot me a pm
Have any of you used this app? I think it's worth at least trying out. I've been using it now for a few days and it seems to have helped increase my battery life. A lot of times before I would get about 2.5 hrs of screen time and now I've noticed I've been getting almost 3.5 hrs...almost, but still good improvement nonetheless.
*It goes into learning mode for about 2-3 days before actually starts helping save battery.
It's free in the playstore, you guys should check it out if you didn't know about it already

Been using it for two days, after initial 2 days learning, and for me it has increased my battery life by a ridiculous amount. I work in an area with little to no service and my phone is almost always searching. I would unplugmy found around 5 am and would be at 30-40% by noon. Apon checking my phone for the past two days its been at about 75%. So I love it!!

Yeah usually I don't really believe in apps claiming to save battery now because none of them ever really worked for me. But this app is made for phones specifically using snapdragon processors and actually works, pretty damn good too.

It must have gotten better from when it first launched because it absolutely DECIMATED my battery life in the first versions! Maybe I'll try it again.
Admittedly, I'm running root66 MD5 and I'm getting the best battery life I've ever gotten without undervolting and the ROM has been extremely stable for me so I'm sticking with it for now... maybe my constant ROM flipping was messing up the app. I'll give it another shot.
I tried it for a week and it wasn't even doing anything at all...
Just get battery doctor from the market should do.

Also just so you guys know I was doing a lot of web browsing and watching a good amount of YouTube, plus playing a little iron man and plumber crack but did a reboot, which is why it doesn't come up on the battery stats.

Hmm...that's odd, works pretty well for me. Well if battery doctor helps you save more battery then keep using it. Just out of curiosity how much battery life do you get with using battery doctor?

4 hours? I've been getting 5 hours of on screen time with MD5, WiFi on all the time, playing Metropolis and Simpsons: Tapped Out...
Auto brightness on or off? I have mine turned off (the screen is plenty bright at one tick above base).
All I know is that I never came close to 5 hours until upgrading to MD5...

Battery Guru has been "learning my device" for 3 days now and it says I have 6 hours until battery savings begin. I'll let everybody know how it goes.

To be honest, I haven't noticed really any difference. I'll get some screenshots later tonight if you'd like, but overall, if there were any battery savings, they have been minimal. Notice my screen-on time in the original screenshot. I really am not a power user. I only ever have to charge my battery during the day if I've been gaming on it or if I have a rogue app chewing up battery. I usually go 12-14 hours and have 25-30% left with less than 2 hours screen-on time. I don't use task killers, however I reboot my phone daily before I pull it off the charger.
