I will add first 2 users in thanks section who test this and provide feedback.
Introduction:-
After creatng few mods for Remics and Xbean users I thought there should be something which can improve your performance/battery so after looking on lots of threads in xda and searching all over google I have created this RomBooster.
RomBooster:-
Its still in very early stage however I welcome your suggestion and will adding more stuff to it over the period of time. It might take a little longer as I will only release anything once I have tested it and satisfied with it.
Changelog:-
v1 - Initial release
SQL Optimization
Zipalign
These will optimize your ROM and will make the app launching faster
Installation Instruction:-
1. Donwload zip
2. Flash it through recovery
3. Wipe cache + Dalvik
4. Reboot
This wont install anything in your init.d to make the booting process longer, it will run the scripts while flashing so may take couple of minutes and the first boot after flashing will also take a little longer.
Its always advisable that take a backup, these worked for me but I am not responsible if it broke anything on your phone. I will try to help you.
Download:-
v1 - http://d-h.st/nbD
Thanks:-
Jarmezrocks - for encouraging me to try out the scripts
pikachu01 - for his scripts
If anyone has issue with anything I have used please PM me and I will remove it at the earliest or if I missed you in thanks then will add you over there.

OK.
Im backing up my stuffs and will flash RemICS on my Device.
I will post my feedback here ASAP.

Thank you and congrats for your initiative!

Hi...here we go with my first impressions regarding your MOD.
I didn't see any performance improvement at all. Instead I lost some points in Antutu after flash this mod.
What i did?
Flash RemICS-JB run the benchmark tests
Flash the MOD with cache/dalvik wiped and run the benchmark tests again.
Operating the phone you can feel a very little difference in the speed and transictions. I didn't test with robusts softwares yet...but my tests should continue.
I tested on a clean installation, but i think testing in a heavy loaded ROM will be better.. dont you think?
What exactly this mod does?

Hai. Im new here. Just wanted to share this awesome script. Im using Bionic Cow OC and after flash this script my quadrant score managed to hit 2300-2500. The highest is 2845. Significants improvement in i/o. Im not sure if our kernel support init.d scripts but for me it works.

and can you explain how to flash it into sgw thanks in advance
Im using Universal_Adrenaline_Shot_v14-1.zip. If you get bootloop after flashing that one, flash Universal_Adrenaline_Shot_v14-BL-1.zip instead. Go to recovery, mount system and flash. Happy testing

Hi
I don't know but the developers missed one "important part"
The lib "libncurses" doesn't included
This file needed for sqlite3 to run and defrag the database
So the sqlite in this script will not run
Maybe the developer just get it in ACE thread and never know it
and
This script in init.d folder cannot run automatically
Because wonder kernel "this time" cannot start the init.d
so you must run in manually by script manager
Meanwhile i used some thing like this optimization for Black Notes
Regards
thank you rio for your professional review but now i dont think we need this script anymore because cowitgun already optimized I/O performance in his newest bionic rom.
im running on RS(rio saputro) custom blacknote chapter 3 rom and i flash the adrenaline but my quadrant I/O doesnt seems to increase as much as your tomatoman ... how come ?
i also dont know how come my quadrant score increase by the fact that our kernel doesn't support init.d script and im not running it manually and also we all know bionic v6 score quite low in I/O. Maybe because im using the overclock one. But dont rely on quadrant because as long as the rom is fast and smooth enough, it doesn't matter.
yeah true to that ...
but im just worried about my battery that's why i tried flashing the adrenalin
i think i need a new battery .. good thing the warranty for the battery is still available

You don't need to zipalign and SQLite optimize your apps on every boot! So you don't need them as an init.d script which runs on every boot.
This increasing boot up time too much... And decreasing your battery life when you reboot your phone too much on the go.
Now you can zipalign and SQLite optimize your apps from CWM when you want.
This script just runs when you flash it from CWM. Not on every boot!
Runs on every ROM and EVERY phone.
What will SQLite optimizing and Zipalgin do?
-Optimizing RAM and memory usage of your apps.
-Faster access to contacts, messages etc...
Download Here
Script can take a few minutes or more depending on your apps.
THIS SCRIPT INSTALLS NOTHING!!!! JUST WORKS AND DOING PROCESS WHEN YOU FLASH IT.

I would flash it when I would have restore my apps.
Hi,
Thanks for that.
But I have a question, I have to run this script every time I reboot my phone? Or is it a one time thing?
so we can delete the zipalign-script in init.d which comes with so many roms and just run your script from time to time instead?
thx & greetz,

No mate. Just ran it when you install lot of apps. For example, when you install a new ROM and reinstall your apks in the end of it you ran the script.
burakgon
i think this script should be upgraded
Does it make a log file after zipalign?
For example i installed 10 apps and run you script, next time i once again install 10 aps.
why do i need to wait for zipalign 20 apps? 10 from previous time

That's why it's better than init.d script.
An init.d script runs on every boot up.

V1.0
Compiled from latest source of CM10 which you can find the changelog HERE!
Change DPI to 190
Kernel updates:
- bug fix to bln, to prevent kernel panic in some situations (thx to thalamus)
- switched from deep_idle 2 to idle2 (also thx to thalamus)
- updated kernel to linux 3.0.38
- dockaudio sysfs for captivate and fascinate
- data-sysparts gets symlinked at every boot (a user now can just move any file from system to data/sys-parts/xxx, where xxx replaces the path in /system. after reboot the file is symlinked to it's old place)

Well on JB it's not that easy, cause the market wouldn't work below 220 dpi. (well on other roms). So if he fixed that, it would be awesome. But that's just my opinion.

I'm still quite frustrated coming up with a decent name, if you have any nice suggestions do PM me.
I was experimenting some short cuts to battery saving so I reconfigured my build.prop
I put at least 3 nights into this thing not including time used to experiment around!!!
So If It really does help, please click Thanks
Majorly speaking, I am still an inexperienced script kiddie.
But I do like to experiment on my phone a lot.
I'll go straight to the point now.
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any phone bricking, and by applying this script requires root access which means that your warranty is already voided.
The purpose of this build.prop update is that it saves battery yet increase responsiveness when used such as screen scrolling and stuff.
All the values and lines is not original, someone used them, I just modified so that I think it fits our device the most.
I checked and it seemed that all the remaining stuff in it is compatible with ICS.
I enabled most of the hardware rendering so that when its running it will sort of run turbo or something, at least at the launcher it did.
Again I must inform I am still inexperienced but all the things I experimented on worked on my device.
Requirements:
Device: Samsung Galaxy W or any Qualcomm Devices

Re: [script] XtiveKiD build.prop v2.1 (Custom ICS)
Will it conflict with those lines?

nah, but just repeating those lines will do nothing. Go to your build.prob and remove them, then flash if you really want to.
Just to be more specific (if i am not already) they are the same exact line, with no values changed. But a version that adds them without effort (because copy and paste is an effort lol)

Its not compulsory, but its a good thing you do all these after flashing something usually.
Re: [script] XtiveKiD build.prop v2.1 (Custom ICS)
I flash it and no change in build.prop do I need to set permission, before flashing?

Last I checked there's some minor error in the zip file. Do it the manual way, its more safe that way.

Re: [script] XtiveKiD build.prop v2.2 (Custom ICS)
I have this what you first uploaded there. It's same as the lines in first post?

I'm not too sure I follow, your question is?
If you're saying the differences between V2.1 and V2.2 its only those replaceable lines.
If you're saying about the zip files, I didn't upload then, 7amada100 made them(thanks), but something inside did not work that's all.
I'll try to make a flashable zip shortly. For now please continue using the manual method.

Thank you for the reply
Give me link for the script please.
Battery Use
An option for those with root access on an Xperia M is to install SetCPU.
This allows setting of the governors and io schedulers.
You can have an off screen profile which uses the 'powersave' governor which holds down the CPU frequency when the screen is off.
Power Schedule gives an easy way of scheduling the shutdown/startup of Telephony and/or WiFi (and more..) for time periods when these services are not required.
The App doesn't have a resident service process and uses almost no resources in providing the service.
GSam battery monitor provides a good way of monitoring battery use and identifying resources using the battery and helps build an understanding of what your phone is doing.
The App can be un-installed when not being used as it uses a small amount of battery to monitor...the battery.
The battery lasts very well in an Xperia M in most general situations.

Working for me Bro .My battery is improved .
You need Int.d support for this to work .Here you need to download this and install then open it activate int.d .
http://d-h.st/Eh5#.U4cni_mSxSs I'm using this Int.d support app .
*****Maybe You installed the Wrong Int.d Application that's why you get boot looped.
1.)I flashed the Build.prop tweak Stock
2.) Flashed the Reincarnation Engine v4 4.3 CM 10.2
3.)Your done.
Use greenify pro and ram manager pro too bro .Now my phone last last 6 days + when in stand-by mode(Fully charged) .Before it only says 3 days +(fully charged).
i try to make universal init.d support but it didnt install bro cause i use stock kernel , i thought its just for custom kernels :/
