Battery concerns - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

When I check the battery health through the settings, it is listed as in "Good" condition. Just got this phone on launch Nov 9th. Shouldn't the battery be in "Excellent" condition? Could people please check it and let me know what their's say? Will give +1 thanks. Thank you!

I will check, but you will have to tell me where to find that option.

I checked my phone and I actually think that this was done with the Super Box app and not the settings. I don't think there is an option through the regular settings. Could be wrong. But this app has used "excellent" before in determining the health on the last phone I had. Weird.

Battery life after 4.1.2

I don't know it this is just happening to me but since recent official upgrade to 4.1.2 my battery consumption has gone way up. I went to bed last night with my phone at 100% , I wake up this morning with phone at about 60% the phone wasn't used at all and I will add it was in"power saving mode" . Any help would be great

If you just upgraded then factory wipe might be needed.

In this case, I would highly recommend using Better Battery Stats to help find the culprit.

As the gentleman pointed out use "Better Battery stats" app.

Better Battery Stats is an app. You can find it in the XDA forums and install it. You can also find it on the play store for a small fee which helps support the dev.

Is your question, can you leave this off? Or on?
You're taking about the setting in the Hidden Menu?
Someone else posted something about this, their name started with a"C" I believe.
Anyway, mine is turned off and has been since that other post. I don't really think it did much for my battery life.

If i can leave it on because i love my antutu score of 21000 and my brightness issue and my bateery life has been good i tether alot but the phone stays right around 102 im going to do a full bateery test with it today but i just wanna know is it gunna kill my phone having it on at all times

So here's the thread it was originally brought up on. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2328478
I remember my issues with it. I'm outside a lot and the phone will autodim down to 67% making it unreadable in sunlight. When I used this setting, I worked great outside but the screen would do some weird things when I left it on all the time. But I think it was conflicting with the autobrightness. It probably does make your phone run hotter as the cpu and the display won't be using any temperature regulation. And the Display has always been an issue on stock.
Yea i readthat one allready i just need some to giv reassurance that its beeb thoroughly tested

What do you mean by thoroughly tested? I've had it disabled for months without any issues.

Unknown Icon Notification

So I get this icon that shows my CPU usage and battery that appeared randomly on my notification bar. I'm not sure how it got there but I'm quite used to it now and like the looks of it. Does anyone know how to enable or disable it just incase it goes away on it's own? Or should I be aware of it because it can be a harmful third party app?

Can you post a larger screenshot of your phone? I can not make it out. Also, are you rooted and running any Xposed modules?

It's actually getting on my nerves now and I want it off and I don't know how, I restarted my phones a few times and it's still there.

Are you using any 3rd party app that monitor your cpu status ect.? I know when I used "Quick System Info" app I had the option to shows those info on my status bar.
Does it also show in the drop down panel? If it does long press on it and chose "App info".

Open your notifications and tap and hold the notification then click app info.
Nothing shows when I drag the notification bar but the same thing it does now. It covers my icons under it and if I were to be on Youtube watching a video on fullscreen it still shows. I haven't installed anything in about a week either. I don't want to take it to T-Mobile and ask since my phones rooted also

Start over. Flash back to stock. Then start adding your stuff back 1thing at a time.

Can you provide a list of apps that you have installed? It would help narrow down which programs have the permission to draw overlays and that would likely reveal the culprit. Also, have you tried disabling the Xposed framework to make sure it's not one of the modules you installed (doubt it, but worth the trouble)?

You've installed something recently or changed an app's settings recently. That is an output from a monitoring app. CPU, GPU, or something of that sort.
You need to check that app(s) and uncheck whatever seems to point to showing it.

Agreed! It's definitely an app since it's always visible. It's creating a window on top of everything.

Small issue (Jedi Master X2)

I just flashed Jedi Master X2 and it appears that there is a missing notification. It's the one between vibrate and LTE. Looks like something is missing.
Anyone else run into this?
Thanks.

I think I saw this symbol pop up momentarily. I didn't get a chance to really eyeball it but I think it looked like this. What is that?

This is a common inquiry on the master x thread. By most accounts it should be getting attention from the dev for the 3rd release.
Hastily spouted for your befuddlement
This is a known issue. Some of the notifications like the little eye is not showing up correctly. It will be fixed for the next update. I myself went back to Jedi x because I missed my pop up note feature

I think that is the Smart Stay. I have that also.
Any update for this issue? I installed JediRom today and I have this missing space there.
The one that had it, some advice/fix?
Thank you very much in advance!

I thought that this was for the alarm icon that doesn't show up.

Don't know what it was, I just choose another carrier when flashing, I chose AT&T instead of T-mobile even when my model is the SGH-889, but since I'm from another country it doesn't matter.

I left a review on play store about it in the hopes that Google will read it and reply. I know that they've had a history of doing those types of thing in the past. I'd suggest doing the same. The more negative reviews they get the more likely they will do something about it.
