I'm gonna try as well. I wanna see if the porting method I used works as well. I'll PM you if it goes well:thumbup:
It's not based in Stock, correct?

for the op: go to system/lib in your base rom (our cm9), delete libandroid_runtime.soand then, copy the exact same file libandroid_runtime.so from the rom you want to port. flash and reboot.
stuck at bootsplash -.-'
is this because of the kernel ?
must i unpack change and repack it ?
use same device for porting dude or it won't boot
unless u willing to edit thousands of smali files as per our device
use only htc phone roms
no other brands such as sony, Samsung........

Try porting a basic CM9 Rom. SEMC, even if you get it booted, you will have force closes. I ported the GB version a few months back. Many problems.

hi. I just got an htc one v unit but when I turn on the wireless it takes a long time and it does not find anything to connect to.
it also can't save a wireless setting manually and it wont connect to the gprs .
what should I do mainly about the wifi problem ?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Do a factory reset and see how it goes. If it still the same, bring it to HTC centre to check.
I forgot to say but factory reset did not solve the problem too

Im Having the same problem here. i Thought about Flashing New Radio From New Official Roms but im Afraid it could be dangerous
I got my phone back to the reseller and first they said it will be fixed but now they say it's a general common problem of the device and they have more than 150 pthrs like that. so they're waiting for Htc to fix it.

Come on u can't finish the flashing due to low memory. It will say successful but it won't boot. And that's called soft brick, buts its not a big issue.

here is a tuttorial how to port roms from other devices but there are no information about porting from armv7 to armv6 you should ask about it to post owner
Dude!!!! The sense 4 ROM that Benjamin was trying to port (and failed) was from Desire C only! N i am like a 1000000000% sure it wont just work like that! Cuz the boot.img contains the kernel which is one of the most device dependent thing i suppose...
Anyways if u r prepared to face the disappointment go ahead!!!

Odex ROMs have their main files moved to another area for faster booting while when you deodex the ROM these files are compiled back inside the APK....
The benefits of having a Odex ROM :
1. More space in "/data" partition.
2. First boot is faster.
The benefits of having a Deodex ROM :
1. You can customize the ROM the way you want without worrying about odexes....
hope i helped~!

First of all, I'm a noob
I did search for this type of mod, and I found a manual way to do it by modifying the framework.jar and flashable mods that has framework.jar modified for specific devices. It would be very nice if someone would make this mod for our HOX.
Sent from my EndeavorU using Tapatalk 2
Someone has an idea please ?
edit : Finding !
The ROM InsertCoin has already included this MOD.
A mod for cm,aosp and more would be realy nice

what to edit? Give me a link
JB modpack already has it, flash it if the ROM doesn't have it.
