I was a little disappointed that it's not available in a higher resolution than WVGA, so I was going to remake it. I put my own spin on it, and darkened it to please the AMOLED display, here's the result:
Here's the full resolution if anyone wants it. 1440 x 1280.
Lighter background and blue background version are available in the zip. Stupid imgur was compressing them even though they're below the max file size.

Why do the numbers and letters on the dialpad look blurry and low res while the rest of the phone UI has ultra sharp graphics?

This happens when you change the system density. Don't know why the dialer is the only thing that doesn't scale right.

Does anyone have ideas on how to scale the Scrabble Free app so it takes up the entire Galaxy Nexus screen (even if pixelation occurs)? No timeline on when this will be fixed...this is the only app that is currently giving me problems.

I think the only way to really FIX the problem would be to contact the developer. For the meantime, you might be able to drop the screen resolution to a lower ppi, and that may do the trick. Haven't tried that, so no promises. I believe you will need root though.

I really liked some of the stock wallpapers that came on my old Galaxy S. But they're all 960x800 in resolution. Does anyone have them at 1280x720 resolution, for the S3?

The middle box is exactly 1280x720, when you rescale, just lower the opacity of the layer and you'll get it.
I'm a hobbyist photographer, so while I was looking through wallpapers on my Gnex I got a sudden idea.
Making a wallpaper I got here fullscreen (from a HD wallpaper pack in the app section), I ran to my bathroom, propped up my phone on my granite counter top, and took this picture. Obviously the Nexus is the top set of apples and the reflection is off the counter top.
Did I say I love my SAMOLED Nexus?
Edit: I had to retake the photo, the over exposure was killing me =P
