Hi all,
Does anyone have any idea where the nv_data.bin file (or equivalent) resides on the Tmo SGS3? On most other Samsung devices, including the International SGS3, it is in the /efs partition. However, this file is curiously absent on the Tmo variant.
Thanks!
as far as im aware, the location is still unknown

Yea so after pulling teeth with tmobile to get unlock code, I realized that I need a non tmobile sim card to install, then turn phone on and it is supposed to ask for unlock code. Well the problem is that I dont have a non tmobile sim or know anyone with one. Is there a way to get the "input unlock code screen"to pop up? How if so? Thanks.
Nop
There is a process in general section To unlock ur phon without code. And you dont need another sim tooo.

Ok, just to reiterate, i have an unlock code already. I just need it to ask for it. I dont need the free unlock precedure. Ok have you clicked your link? There is no member on that page by the name of "The F Word", and neither has anyone posted a picture on that page that isn't named "The F Word". So what are you talking about?

Actually, the second reply to the thread you had posted was by member "CCCHEEL" and he replied with "just tried and got the following message: unable to process your rewquest" and in fact hadnt posted the pictures that you mention. So you can see where the confusion is. That being said, these pictures you posted, barely open.
Nevermind, I realize you are talking about my thread now. Ok so I followed the paper, *#197328640#, and did what it says, but as stated before, I do not have a non tmobile sim card, so how do I know if whatever those directions say, worked?
If you really want to make sure, get an AT&T micro SIM from Amazon.

If this is in fact verified, then this would mean you'd get the bounty and will extend the useability of our 910A for about a couple more years!
