Welcome, I just got one myself for sprint at a huge deal for 185$. in a 9/10 condition. I just wish the forums were more social in threads like on E4GT forums.

I would rather have a user post a stupid question and learn how to do something the correctly than to have them be worried and screw up... Everyone's gotta start somewhere - none of us just magically knew how to do all of this.
Anyways, enjoy your new phone! When I got mine, the very first thing I did was unlock, flash TWRP and install AOKP. ^_^ Coming from a locked Droid X2, this is like heaven to me.

Me too! Came in the mail today as well. Have you tried wallet yet? I had a S3 and I never could get wallet to work. That's what prompted the nexus.

Have not yet any luck with it ?

No. I'm scared to. lol. I tried it after doing the hack job to the S3 and I looked like an idiot at the store when it didn't work. Maybe today I'll give it a go. Will keep you posted.

Yea Im def thinking of getting a extended bat too but there isn't anything good in the market. The few reviews I've seen all say the charging port breaks off the case after a month use....
Regardless loving my phone too..just got it about 2 weeks ago and flashed codenamedandroid yesterday

I tried wallet out yesterday. It is working quite well and I'm very pleased with it. The people at 7-11 oood and ahd. The lady that checked me out even went and got the boss to check it out. Lol.

It was already installed when I received the phone. I have the gsm version. If you're on Verizon, I think there is a way to get it installed. Check out the galaxy s3 forum for instructions. Just a note, I followed the instructions there before I returned the s3 and wallet never worked.

Multiview coming to s3?

Ok so i got the new update for my note 2 and am loving the multiview. My girlfriend likes it but still disent want a phone as big as the note. Some people were commenting om qbking77 youtube review saying its coming to the s3. Has anyone else heard this?

There is a link somewhere confirming this that it will be in 4.2 for galaxy s3 apparently in December.
Let me see if I can find it
EDIT: All the links I find are confirming it for the international version of the GS3 not unless I'm reading it wrong...?

It shouldn't really matter, as the international version only has 1 GB RAM with a quad core.
The US version of the Galaxy S3 should be able to handle it just fine.

Hey Guys,
I just found a problem on my note ii. I wanted to know if it's just me or if it happens with you guys as well. It happened with my old my Note II, so I exchanged it. The problem is still there with the new note.
So here is how you find the problem.
- Take out your S Pen.
- Go to the S Pen Section
- Create a Note.
- Then go to the right side of your phone, next to the center.
- Keep scribbling up and down, till you find a dead spot.
Let me know if it happens to you guys too.

This happens to my Note II. There's dead spots in the empty spot. I just wanted to know if it was me or some other people as well. This is my replacement phone, it happened to the old one as well.

seems to be working fine here, are you sure you set up everything correctly? tone? melody? vibration? that's weird

No problem here. Have the device replaced.

Are you using a case with a magnet latch? That could be whats causing the dead spot

One x all the way man. The Note 1 has the same hardware this phone does with a 720p screen. It was laggy and the s-pen didn't work nearly as well as it does on the Note 2.

You do know you can google all this and your asking about phones in a section of people who probably dont own either 1. Stroll over to Note section and read Stroll over to HTC One section and check out the rom selection. Why do you need others to make up your own mind or persuade you with so much info out there at your disposal

Lmao. Thanks for you 2 cents. I went all up and down the internet, just wanted to get some feedback from the people I've trusted with my s2.. that's all. Hard to make the decision on my end because they are both good. Tired of my s2 just wanted something newer different and not wanting to spend 600. I can break even selling my s2 and buying either note or one x. I went to booth threads and even put questions in there. Just want all the info I can get.

Interesting to read comments on the s4...

First impressions are that people are disappointed as its laggy because of so much bloat. Also cant be unlocked. I was seriously considering the s4. Now I'm not so sure.

Samsung rep stopped by my sprint store today and demod the s4...i experienced no lag, even throwing heavy tasks at it, and found no more bloatware than the note 2. there are certainly a few new additions like the s health and what not...but how can a few extra apps ever weigh down on a quad core + 2 gb of ram...those comments are bogus the s4 is as amazing as the note 2, minus the extra inch and the pen

I have been reading the same comments actually. I think the reaction is expected because everyone who is getting it is expecting it to be twice as good if not more than everything else out there. Expectations are just to high for that phone..
With that being said, I still might get it. I am just going to wait a few weeks to see what people are saying about it then. When people start to come back to reality.
