[MOD] Small Fonts - HTC One X

Okey, so this is just a tiny little mod, that will make your fonts go smaller. It has nothing to do with DPI changes whatsoever.
Got the idea from him, but that thread hasn't updated in months and I wanted to include more fonts into that zip, I made my own.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1661107
Probably everyone who has used CyanogenMod 9/10 and Sense 4,4.1,4+ knows, that the 'small' font in Sense isn't exactly that small.
So I went ahead and decreased the size of most of the fonts by 20%. Should work on all ROMs, atleast Sense based ROMs.
So nothing special here, but just felt like sharing this.
Cheers.
EDIT: 15% smaller fonts added.
Those of you who actually dare to try this. As it is my first mod ever, remember to do nandroid backup first, so you can't blame me for anything ;____;
Also, the other zip will return fonts to stock. Hopefully.
Flash in CWM.

Here is some screenshots for those of you who care

Works good so far, but for me 20% was to small (getting old I guess). Can you create one with 15% and one with 10%, just a small request

Sure, I'll update atleast one of them into OP today, I'll see if I got time for the other one too
EDIT: okey, try that one. If it is still not perfect I'll make the 15% too

Does this change the font inside the native exchange client? I hate that the fonts are so big in the email.

Great work mate...
SkyDragon Sense Rom V1

Thanks dude,
I think 15% will be more eye-view and suitable for hox. Thanks for your great work. :good:

Not sure which font exchange uses since I never have used it, but odds are that this changes that one too.
Edit: I'll do the 15% soon

Must say this is one of the best mods ever... Always hated how big the fonts looks... Using the 20% one and love it

Okey, 15% one is now in OP
If someone has an idea of size or font to include, feel free to request !

Is there an app to change the font that will work with this app for changing the size?
In any case, many thanks to the OP for this. I always thought it took away from having such a hi-res screen having such a big default font. looks much better now.

Hi. Sorry, my mistake. I didn't mean to say application. Just your mod to reduce the font size. I was only wondering about how to change the actual font rather than just reducing it.

I personally think that its really cool. Plus, if you are a HTC Veteran (someone who own more than 5 HTC devices) or someone who own early Android version device, you will probably miss its launcher, skin etc.

lol thats a little demanding, looks like you might need to start reading up on how to do it yourself if you want to demand things
looks like its gonna need a source build, do you have a computer good enough to build? most of the people that do and can do this kind of stuff are quite busy, and learning to build roms and incorporate features yourself is the icing on the cake
I have no idea how to port ROMs, could you dirrect me to a thread perhaps?

Idea/Request..or so...AOSP Basic style Sense theme

Hello,
most aosp themes are a bit blue overstyled for me...people who know me..know that i like a clean style (like you see in the theme from this link)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=872464
...so i take about 3 aosp themes:
1. Holo Light - Sense 4 HD Skin (Virtuous Team) paysoftware..and delete the m10 files as i dont liked the transparent widgets..now i have the original back
2. SenseCream Theme (fisha21) i take the dialer and the vr theme
3. One X AOSenseP Theme (geenyous) i take the keyboard
4. from a blue whats app theme i take the blue bubble
5. make the calculator pngs better
6. from Ordroid´s blue % battery theme i take the pngs and copy over the green from viper x
like you see in the pics...its not so overstyled and underline the google android in sense perfect...
now maybe someone can help to make a vr theme from this..or maybe as idea for themers...as info..also in aosp is not every thing blue...so i think this is a good combination...
PS: Thx to all great themer´s here
thx for reading...with kind regards...Alex

Still you put time and effort into doing something that me and definitely others are interested about =)
But I'm still wondering though, what you've done.. is it for Sense 4+ or any older version of Sense?
Have to agree. Themes are what make a rom special for me. I don't need a hyper speed rom. But theming is essential.

Thats an xml in the skin apk. If you go into the assets folder and find stylesheet.xml, you need to change the values for multiply_color and overlay_color to blue.
Also, I noticed your dialer button is still green...were you happy with it like that?

Hey Alex, good thing you got going here!
I think you got my keyboard from my sense skin though, haven't touched it in my JB skin so far. If you want, I can send you the modified files only, so you can compile a JB keyboard version (no arrows anymore I think, but I am not sure, am using SwiftKey 3).
Feel free to also include my AOSP buttons, check boxes and progress bars with which you will be even closer to AOSP.
You can also try my new toggles in 1.6, but they are kinda workaround, didnt manage to get it AOSP they way htc implemented them.
Keep it up!
Cheers.

Used the content aware tool in Photoshop. Once you’ve selected and deleted the unwanted object, the tool analyzes the surrounding pixels to determine the ideal colors, textures, and patterns to use as fill material. Then it automatically fills in the area where the object had been, matching lighting, tone, and noise.

Guys,
off course swiftkey could be better, but could you please answer the question? I mean, maybe somebody doesn't want 3rd party apps like swiftkey but stick to the default ones....
I personally don't know where you can find an APK for Sense5 keyboard.. should be somewhere on this forum though..
Good luck!
there are some sense 5 theme mods where you have the apk inside so it will be installed together...if you don't want the hole theme download it and extract the htc_ime.apk ...it should be in system/app/ in the zip...then just put the apk on the sdcard of your phone and then use a root file manager like es file manager or so take the htc_ime.apk and put it in system/app/ and set the rw-r-r permissions then reboot and you will have it
