Bricked?

My phone will go into the bootloader (no custom recovery installed) where I can use fastboot but the phone wont get past the htc logo. I have installed the stock software by having the phone in the bootloader and fastboot mode and I have tried the PC10IMG.zip flash but neither seem to make a difference even though they both seem to complete without errors. I have also tried to flash individual img files with fastboot but the phone just returns a signature failed message. Basically am I out of luck with this phone? I tried talking to HTC and they cant help me unless I provide a receipt, since I bought the phone used I dont have one... and I dont have an account with the provider (Bell) that this phone is branded for.

Do you even know what you are doing? just asking cause you are not giving much info to go on. What are you trying to do in the first place and why do you not have a custom recovery installed?

Do you have eng hboot installed?
if you have ,no, its not bricked you can easily format your phone flash a custom recovery
and install any rom you want. if this is the case ,i can help you with that.
im assuming you have firmware 1.34 so you can try to just flash back the original 1.34 wwe rom for the htc desire z.

hey, if you have used htcdev tool to unlock your bootloader , you need to LOCK again the bootloader in the same way, and then use Advanced ACE Hack Kit (12062012) w/ENG Support, after using this program use the clockworkmod recovery to flash a custom rom (android revolution hd, miui, ics. etc)

Very little information to go on, but when people say unlocked boot loader. The issue is that flashing of roms is different and people fail to realize that.
After flashing a rom you have to flash the boot.img separately. Take the boot.img from what ever rom you want, put it in your fast boot folder. Boot phone into hboot. And run
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
Can't stress enough to everyone to please research before you attempt anything on a phone. Heck I spent a month reading the threads learning about roms/flashing/troubleshooting before I attempted to root.(this was my first android device)
Have another problem;
why my device turned off by it self when usb/charger is unpluged?
its there any problem at my mini usb socket?
or its is like that when got problem with software?

[Q] cannot enter to recovery mode or reflash

Hello XDA comunity,
I have little bit problem with phone from my friend. He bought in germany HTC One V and wants czech localisation in this phone. This language is not there in this phone, so I tried solve it by reflash phone by any rom, which has czech language.
I unlocked bootloader, flashed CWWM recovery, but I cannot get into recovery. I spent a lot of time today by trying everything possible. I Tried TWRP too and any custom CWWM in threads from people with same problem. Everytime when I try boot in recovery, there is message, that this build is only for purposes of HTC and phone freezes or reboots.
When I tried to flash any shipped RUU ROM, I get error 155 firstly, then I relocked bootloader and error 130.
So I cannot flash another RUU ROM neither custom ROM, because I cannot start recovery.
Has anybody an idea? if you will need more info about phone, I will post it there.
Thank you very much!
Have you tried this...

Try with Android Ultimate Toolbox Pro - The Ultimate Android Utility
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886562
Is it Primo U or Primo C?
When it's stuck right there, make sure you also flashed the right kernel...
KREDDYT: thanks for tip, I will try this.
It is Primo U and CID is VODAP102, can be this CID source of troubles?
//Edit: I got message about recovery mode as before, but now it boot into recovery mode, so I can do backup - thank you one more, I will try flash rom throught it...
//Edit2: Flashed custom ROM throught recovery, so I have czech language now. Still cannot flash HTC RUU ROM, but I will not experiment probably with this.

Htc m9 bricked

Hey guys, well my M9 has looped absolutely out of nowhere. Does not start system, does not go into download mode and does not enter recovery mode, only in bootloader mode. Someone with some form of recovery?
PS 1: strangely this situation occurred with the cell with bootloader locked, with recovery and ROM stock.
PS 2: The phone is with S-OFF
PS 3: Sorry my bad english =)

It's most probable that a chip on your phone's motherboard has gone bad - the only fix, if a fix is possible, would be to have HTC repair or replace the motherboard.

HTC 10 brick and can't install RUU , Please Help!!

Hello Ladies and gentlemen, please I need help here.... My HTC 10 is brick and I'm trying to unbrick it but can't for these reasons:-
1-locked bootloader, S-ON
2-stock recovery is not there... Can't open it
3-downloading mode is not working too, doesn't open
4-bootloader opens fine , I tried using fast boot to flash the stock RUU but it's saying "can't while S-ON)
5- tried the official RUU exe , not working because it keeps on saying (battery less than 30%) , now plz don't tell me to charge it cause İTS CHARGED!! But the problem is that there is a bug where fast boot can't read the battery ... Getvar command will give you (nothing) (empty)... That's why RUU still says "battery less than 30%"
I tried EVERY thread on the internet , nothing works unfortunately!
Please people help :crying:
I don’t know this battery problem. But try resetting or recalibrating battery .
1) Connect the phone to wall charger for 10 mins.
2) with the switch turned off and phone power off
Press and hold volume up and down button ( both volume button ) and power button for 2 min and leave all the button .
3) charge it full / or for long period , probably 3-4 hrs
4) try flashing ruu now.

Ill try and reply back

Unlock bootloader
Find your stock recovery.img version
Put your HTC on bootloader mode (dont need download mode)
Flash Stock recovery via ADB (command: fastboot flash recovery name_of_recovery.img)
Flash RUU via MicroSD card
Relock bootloader

Once unlocked your bootloader please NEVER relock it....it has no purpose. All you do is lock yourself out of your device once in trouble. Worst advice ever.

Many people don't know that relocking the BL doesnt do any good. If your device is not completely stock and you relock the BL you are screwed!!!
You can flash ruu files with an unlocked BL, you can update officially with an unlocked BL, it has no value what so ever to relock it. Believe me, I know this stuff !

And why so many unnecessary steps, no need to flash a stock recovery before a ruu, the ruu does it for you.

1: shame it's locked.
2: stock recovery is probably there but you need a button combo to enter it, you probably see some kind of exclamation sign ?
3: you say it doesn't open....means what ? Does the device start bootlooping, does it reboot to the bootloader ?
4: did you try to flash a ruu.zip in "ruu mode" ? (google for the exact fastboot command to enter ruu mode)
5: nothing to say about that.
