I tried but it would not install. I'm guessing it wouldn't work that and I'm just wondering. I using CM10 right now but I really want the Phone/Contacts/Messaging from the stock ROM. Can anyone enlighten me?
Nope. It requires the Touchwiz framework.

Looks like you are looking for a touchwiz Jb rom with all the boat ware. You can use wyldechilds Xquizit rom and choose the bloat you want. Perfect DD.

Since its deodexed it will work with any theming as long as you make it compatible and know what your doing but if you on odexed on the other hand you cant

You've got to be on a deodexed ROM then just pull the widget out if the zip you tried and drop it in sysytem/app. I have it right now for a project in working in

Yes you would. I like tweaked personally, but your best bet is to just try different ones until you find what you want. If you wait a couple days I will upload something you might like. It'll have the widget.

I think Infamous rom has scrolling wallpaper launcher. If you don't like the rom, you can take the launcher apk from it and install it on your phone.

I went from Cyanogenmod to Stock Touchwiz as I needed the stock camera and S Note and S Planner but thats not my problem. The one thing I miss the most is the screen off animation. im rooted btw. I want to be able to have the animation activated by the normal lock button btw

A few options - flash a custom ROM that has that mod added to it, or search the development forum for the thread that has a flashable zip that enables it.
Only way to know which ROMs have the effect is to carefully read the ROM description. Good luck

There are plenty of custom roms with the crt off option added. I personally use Alliance ROM as I find it to be the closest think to aosp based on tw without compromises.
