Hello
Due to the fact that the camera on the ICS and JB is not as good as the GB one, I decided to stick with GB ( correct me if I'm wrong )
So I see a lot of kernels for both ICS and JB , but none for GB, so I searched, but found nothing
Therefore I would like to know if any galaxy W user is running GB and has a custom kernel can share it with me ?
thank you , peace out
Arco made a very good GB kernel but I dont fint the link as I know Kezra V4 use this kernel.

yes. open his zip and extract the boot.img
i tried both with viper x 3.3.1 and insertcoin v15.2.0. Every time I try to flash bricked kernel it flashes the kernel and then bootloop. I would really appreciate if someone would give me a zip file of faux kernel. I only find moduls on this site...
Please help I need a kernel.

Currently there are no available custom kernels for the jelly bean base, because htc didnt release the kernel source code yet. All you can use will be the stock htc kernel that is also incorporated inside the rom when you extract it.

There is the custom-stock kernel made by TripNDroid from Tegra3 references and from HOX+ source.
Just reflash the rom to fix the modules and reflash the original boot.img .....

Yeah , and quit flashing ICS kernel onto JB rom , that can lead into some issues, bigger then you think.
Ok got it. Staying with viper x 3.2.2 and waiting for jb kernels to be created. When is htc giving the source to the devs?

They should release the code about 90 days after the release.....but nobody knows for sure !

crossfire has some in the dev thread that you can install it on, they have to be init.d supported. I made one a while back but its only for marvelc.

i don't get other things but boot.img contains two things 1)ramdisk 2)kernel (zImage)
you need dsxida's kitchen to extract boot.img and use any koush updater method to flash kernel.

You do not have to flash any kernel
Moreover, if you flash stock kernel on this ROM, you'll get a nice bootloop, maybe you'll even softbrick the device
Which recovery are you using ? If it is TWRP >2.2, just go back to an older version and you'll be able to flash everything fine.
Cwm no-touch recovery

Thanks for the info but that 0-100 when flashing rom
.what about that
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
IT is because of an Syntax error in the Rom. You have to flash another Rom until op of the rom fixed the Problem.
