Hi,
I'm new to the ONE X, just switched from the Sensation. I've updated the firmware to 1.28.0000. I can instal all Sense ICS and JB ROMS with no issues but I want CM10, unfortunately I get stuck on the white HTC logo, even after flashing boot.img and erasing cache. What should I do, everything seems so much more confusing on this device!
Josh.
go to recovery and flash any sense based JB rom, Don't forget to flash the kernel through fastboot.
and if you want a working cm10 then you have to flash a kernel compatible with hboot 1.31.
but it has gps issue i guess.
search for the kernel in cm10 thread.. you will find it.
Alright, so I now have ARHD 13 installed and working fine. How should I go about installing a CM10 ROM without getting stuck? Thanks.
you need to flash the correct kernel. The one which comes with the rom would not work.
I guess its the mdeejay kernel which is working on hboot 1.31 but as i said gps is not working with it.

GPS isn't a biggie pour moi. Okay so when flashing a kernel, I need to flash the .zip first in recovery followed by flashing the boot.img in fastboot? Also I'm on hboot 1.28, not 1.31?
Just flash kernel modules in recovery then fastboot flash boot

Appreciated, I'll see what I can do. Only been able to find a 1.29 base Kernel, that should work?
Unfortunately I am still stuck at the white HTC screen after repacking the NCX-0.99 kernel. I've also cleared the cache multiple times.
No, there is a custom kernel that works with hboot 1.28+cm10, I believe its somewhere in the dev section.

I have a similar problem, phone was working fine and then all apps and processes (com.android.process) all crashed. I tried to clear cache data of all programmes crashing and reboot but the problem persisted. I decided that a factory reset might fix the problem but now my phone doesn't get past the logo screen. Any suggestions one how to fix this would be great, I have insurance so should I just get a new phone? Thanks in advance.
My friend gave his one x to fix it for him. The problem is that the phone is stuck in airplane mode but in status bar it doesnt show an airplane.... It shows empty signal bar with an x as if theres no service......and when i try turn it off it says it stucks at turning off , leave it for hours and it will still be the same..... I tried rebooting the phone, factory reset, installed custom rom, RUU and i did all kinds of wipe and format in cwm and still the same. I have searched a lot about this i found some people with the same situation but i didnt find any solution installing other roms and kernels does not fix the problem...... I want to know if this is a hardware issue or software issue which i think it is..... And if theres a solution for it.....
Thank You.

I got the same problem, after flashing hboot 1.31 for JB Custom ROM. Now my phone can't turn on wifi and airplane mode always stays on "turning off". No way to go back to hboot 1.12 or 1.28 reflashing 1.31 two and three times and same situation. Tried 2 different custom roms different kernels... Done some google search and forum search. Any solution?

Switch the power off and hold the power and volume down button for a few seconds until the soft touch keys (bottom three) flash a few times. I had this once and couldn't get it to work until i simulated a 'battery pull', which the above action imitates.
Hope it fixes this issue.

No, it doesn't help. If reboot helped it'd be stupid treat, but it's not. I can't send my phone for warranty repair, because hboot 1.31, even it's relocked. If I wait for RUU that matches the hboot and CID HTC_032 may be it will solve my problem or at least my warranty will not be void.
Doc_j is right rebooting doesnt help..... But my situation is a little diferrent i did not install any hboot . The phone was untouched when it got stuck in airplane mode.... Everything was stock i tried factory reset b4 changing anything but it didnt work. Doc_j did u try a stock kernel ? Or RUU ? Anyway if u find a solution plz let me know.... GL

Solved! My problem was the boot.img I flashed boot.img for ARHD 13 before and that was the reason. So after flashing boot.img for 15.0 all is OK.

Bakert12, try flashing hboot 1.31, unlock your bootloader, flash clockworkmod recovery, install previously downloaded and copyed to the SD card Android revolution HD 15.0 zip file from the recovery and finally flash boot.img for ARHD15.0 via fastboot. I think you have my problem, no matter how it happend

I have the same problem.
Did you find the solution?
No sorry i returned the phone to my friend..... I think its a hardware issue... But try what doc_j said it might work if u got the problem by flashing a custom rom but if it appeared in a stock rom then i think its hardware related... Good Luck !

Any idea?
What about warranty?
Just had the same problem....
I just restarted the phone in "safe mode" let it sit like that for about half an hour and the restarted it.

I think it may be related to HBoot 1.31 as I've read of other cases. Not ideal and I hope it isn't, as you'd have to wait for a later firmware in order to fix the problem

Hi again,
today I flashed ARHD, problem still there.
I think its acting worse on the ARHD, when I booted I connected to my wifi, no internet connection. Thats unusual because on other roms I get the internet for like 10 min then there would be no connection just the wifi connected. ARHD internet comes for 2 min disconnect -.- really annoying
could it be the boot img?
I used ARHD fast boot file he provided to flash the boot.img before the rom, in other roms I type in CMD
fastboot erase cache
fastboot boot (i drag the boot img here)
then I go to recovery
wipe
install
thats all... is there something wrong im doing?
thanks

Hi,
Ive got a one x thats had the bootloader unlocked and running with the TeamWin recovery on CyanogenMod official nightlies (21st to be exact).
I cannot get the GPS to function. In maps it will tell me its unable to determine my location and in other apps such as "GPS Test" it shows no info. Ive tried flushing the dalvik cache, repairing permissions and installing the fix detailed here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1595800.
Any help would be appreciated
(If GPS is disabled in CM nightlies what steps can I take to re enable it?)
Thanks,

I was on 0.94.000...just perfect no problems...
Now i have 1.39,i am on 20121223 cm10 nightly for endeavoru with your modded-boot.img....
Something strange!with sygic i am ok...gps is working... but with copilot nothing is working!
Is there any way to downgrade???
I am so disapointed....i am searching for my old HD2(legend phone)
No way to downgrade, sorry.
It is strange that it works with some apps, must be the new new hboot. (1.39)
But it will be all sorted out when htc releases its kernel source.
Sent from my HTC One X
I tried this....
with modded-boot.img i use Nibble Automated Kernel Repack Beta and any boot that i want.... so i can use every rom that i want...but i have to repack the boot.img.... not from the rom... first the modded-boot.img and then the boot.img of the rom you want to use...so you have a new boot.img that you can use!!!

yup so these are the steps I followed.
1) flashed the boot.img that I had in the nandroid backup
2) restored the backup
3) booted up completely
4) since touch screen doesn't work
5) restarted the phone went into recovery and installed the OTA
6) booted again and it got stuck
7) erased cache from fastboot -> no-go
Also I just checked couldnt find any boot.img in the OTA zip, dont know what im missing here

thanx for letting me knw that it is not kernel related(sigh of relief)
but still, can you suggest some roms so that i'll try flashing their boot.img's!
You can try any rom if your hboot is supported. Receiving signal is something different from the signal strength.
The modules in the rom + the delivered boot.img are related to each other to make signal and bluetooth ...etc etc work.
So flash the boot.img from the rom, make a full wipe in recovery, install the rom. That way it should be all good on any rom.
