few days ago, my friend was using my note 2 to look up something on the internet. when the screen came up asking if he wanted to use the internet or the popup browser and always or just this once, he chose internet and always. i was looking a way to reset those options, so i can choose if i want to use full screen browser or the popup browser. anyone know how to reset it back? thanks in advance
Go to settings ..applications.. Then whatever browser is set as default and tap clear default

As I scroll through my emails, I'm noticing there is no select all button
To delete emails at once.unless I'm missing something? my evo had a select all to delete.
Also,i had to reset my phone.i was using launcher pro and I started checking out
The sprint id app and made it the default home.i could still use lp
but, everytime I hit the home button it would make the original home screen
the default.i did clear data in the apps list.and couldn't get lp to launch correctly.
In the email app, hit menu, then delete....the delete boxes then appear

I found that.but, I was hoping for a select all button to show up
So I don't have to manually check each box off for deletion.
Coming from the HTC EVO, their stock browser had an option to share an image when you long pressed on it, I noticed this isn't an available option... Is this something that can be easily added?
I used that option literally everyday as it would enable me to easily transfer the image to my messaging app where I could send it out via MMS.
I've tried other browsers, Opera, xScope and none of them seem to have this option either.
Any suggestions?
Every maybe 10 second of browsing my internet keeps closing. Then when I open it again it reverts back to my google homepage ? Any ideas ?

Which browser / ROM ? Try disabling flash.
Try something to see if it helps you with your problem.
Go to Settings and tap the Wi-Fi, go to the upper right corner where the 3 vertical dots are located and tap on them
select Advanced, and you are in the Advanced Wi-Fi tab. Find the setting by the name Auto-disconnect and if it is checked, uncheck it. It seems that if this setting is checked, for some reason unknown to me, it keeps disconnecting frequently. As for the matter of your web browser that takes you each time to google or whatever page it is taking you it is because that particular page is set as Homepage by default or by you accidentally. Try to find the settings in whatever browser it is you are using ang change the Homepage to the one of your liking. I wish i could help you more but at the moment i can't think of anything else...:fingers-crossed:
I havent rooted me phone yet, but thanks ill try that now

I have inconsistency with the LG web browser. I prefer to use it over Chrome but more than several times a day i can type an address in the bar and the blue loading indicator doesn't move but I can paste the same link in Chrome and its all good. I clear the application then go back into the browser and that normally works.
Anyone else have this or know of a fix. I have already completed a factory reset.

Yes same here. It doesn't response or can't type or won't load or so on. It happens a few times a day. I actually switched completely to Google chrome because the other browser is just not very reliable if u do a lot of web browsing.

Question about websites asking for my location. We have two Note 10+ phones and anytime a website asks for the location the pop-up appears asking for the ok but the phone never allows either option to be picked. I always have to use the back button to clear the pop-up off the screen. We've had both Note 10+'s for months and it's never allowed us to select an option. How do I make the thing work? Using Chrome as the browser and everything is fully updated. I checked the feature in the default Samsung browser and it works fine, but I want to issue Chrome. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Open Chrome and go to settings and look for "site settings" . Once opened look for "location". Open "location" and change your settings accordingly.

Mine does same but I went to settings and tried to change the permissions but it only allows Ask every time, or deny. Only choices. Very odd

For me the issue was I needed to give permission for Chrome itself.
So I went to the phone's settings then apps then chrome then allowed location when in use

I've done that too and still doesn't allow me to pick either option in the pop-up.

I think thats Android not allowing you to select a choice because an 'overlay' is blocking your view.

Got it to work. Went into Settings and search for "on top" and open the Special Access menu and select Appear on top and turn off all the apps.
