Update available for Middle East

The update with sense 4.1 is now available for Egypt, so I guess it should be available for all Arabic speaking middle eastern countries.

Just received the update today in Beirut.

Well, just unrooted my phone, installed the update, and rerooted. still looking for changes, any one got any idea what are the changes??

It's useless without S-OFF as you can't manually flash it

Any idea on where i can find the RUU for this please ?

I also need the RUU as I want to return to stock.(warranty stuff) Can someone please help the needy

you cannot undo your unlocking bootloader via RUU - for your warranty stuff. Take the 1.28 RUU and then after you install that you can do a OTA update to latest version

I know they can still find out if it was unlocked, but I want to relock it either way as that is whats recommended. Anyways, I found a work through. You'll understand my problem and how I fixed it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859714&page=3

You won't find a changelog for the RUU. As far as I know, HTC doesn't release one.
Also I don't think you'll be able to tell the difference yourself. Usually updates cover minor system changes and not something in the UI (although sometimes they do).

Yes there are jelly bean roms you can run with unlocked bootloader ,trips CM10 is a very good example, but as it stands for a sense jelly bean rom the answer is NO untill o2 release the OTA update.

Or the experimental kernel method but it has some bugs. If you don't mind losing sense then Cm10 if not I think you should just wait. I'm on cid 044 so in the same boat!

Well as the official HTC JB ota has actually been released to the public I would guess any where between November/ December for o2 to push it to their customers.

You can flash firmware.zip from taiwan JB ota (hboot 1.33).
And then you can flash all JB rom, id you want. 1 per day

lucky you that you have superCID you can install every thing on that, doesn't matter the CID in your case

He can only flash full ruu's or force ota zip's. SuperCID does not automaticly get ota's or the imei should be registerd at htc.

but he could install every firmware out there, ruu too right?

Jeah he can install every firmware and ROM, but before install a custom ROM you should make a nandroid backup that you can get back to stock.

There are phones that got shipped with supercid, theres no need to be that surprised
and he's a '08 member he don't have to proof anything

Should add, nothing change in our life this matter ..if it is or not what it is.

3.20 update

Hi guys just wondering if anyone on HTC__001 has recieved the update,as don't want to have too return to stock and lose everything before it actually arrives.

My friend said yes, but i'm not sure.
However, if you're root, i raccomend to you to stay root

My cid is htc__001 and today I checked manually and found out the update was there

HTC has already released it for some countries. It is 35 MB and brings some enhancements. that is why am asking..

Mostly it's bug fixes for the stuff HTC messed up in 3.18
And India also hasn't got 3.18. So we're fine for now

Are you on full stock rom ?

The bad news, K18 is a TouchGroup CID, which means it's NOT an elevate CID (it was also one of the last CIDs to get JB, so future updates will probably be as slow).
The good news: hboot firmware update IS (finally) available, here.
An installation guide (In Hebrew, as I'm assuming if you have K18 you speak Hebrew) is available here.
If you do NOT speak Hebrew, there are plenty of guides here in this forum in English.
