Grey statusbar fix? - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello! J have grey statusbar. Have meaby fix? And how to ustom in download mode to O?

You should leave it like that, it will propably lower the risk of getting burn-in. Unless you really want to change it, you will have to use custom rom.

I don't know exactly what its called, CM6 final question

What I'm trying to do is to make my notifcation bar black instead of the default white. Its truly the only thing that is bothering me from The OEM htc sense rom. Is there an app, mod, or theme that will just affect the notification bar? Sorry for the newb question and please don't flame me on using the search button.

On CM6 Final. Menu>Settings>CyanogenMod Settings>User Interface>Notifications Colors> Scroll to the bottom and change the Custom notification Bar color and the Custom Pulldown bar color. For Black color put #ff000000
Do you have to reboot for the color Change to show up? I did what you said and still is white...

you have to reboot for changes to take effect. I like the white bar over the black one personally but to each his own

I like bright pink... what what. Lol just kidding I like the white one too. Froyo looks sick I am in love with all things AOSP lol. Honestly I find the AOSP features to be far more usefull then the sense stuff. But like you said to each his own.

Gingerbread statusbar.

Anyone know where I can find a gingerbread status bar with all green icons and percentage in the battery. The one I have now shows a white icon for WiFi and a solid battery icon.

Transparent navigation bar background.

Is this possible?
A few roms gives you the ability to change the color but is there a way to make the background completely transparent? Would look pretty dope.
Sent from the future.
Would be good but a problem may be, that if there is a button on the bottom of a certian page, lets say eg. the next page button. The nav buttons would overlap
And you wouldnt be able to press it. Thats my theory anyway, but what do i know lol

The nav bar background would still be there just invisible to the eye.
See-through, not completely gone. At least how I had it figured out in my head lol.

Then i dont see why it cant be done thinking about it, aokp has a transparent status bar mod i think, so nav bar should be possible.

I don't THINK it's possible without a lot of clever scripting. From what I can tell, the status bar/nav bar UI "displaces" the drawable screen area. So if the nav bar are present, it nothing is drawn behind them. If they're not present, stuff is drawn, where they go, but uh... they aren't present.
So it might be doable with some trickery, but as far as I know nobody's done it yet.
It's possible and been done many times. There's a thread about it in the themes section.

Transparent navigation bar

Does anyone know if this is possible to do. I think it would give our nexus a better full screen effect.
Anything is possible but it supposedly killed performance on old versions
But I would also like to see this in the future
And also there are multiple threads explaining this bump

Yes it is possible... But you're going to have to do some decompiling and compiling and change the status bar back ground .PNG file and recompile the .apk....

+1 woulb be kinda cool maybe in the future it will be standard for most roms or atleast a option
well, you can't get transparent navigation bar in JB by changing the background only, but you have to do your changes in smali too
A black to transparent fade in both status and navbar would be sweet as hell.
Please make this happen <3
Just like in Atrix HD
Bump! lookin' forward to this mod
What does the atrix launch with? ICS or jb?
Bump! i'd love it!

ICS for sure. When JB was released, it was only available for the Galaxy nexus, nexus S and motorola XOOM, and the Atrix was out before that
What's with all the talk about status bars? The guy asked about the navigation bar (where the soft keys are)
Haven't seen anything about it. But I agree that it would be pretty sweet and I would be down.
I've read on another thread that someone managed to make the navbar transparent. Only problem was the glow from touch stayed after using the buttons...
Haven't read that thread in a while, think it died.

I have been thinking about this too since the day I got my Gnex..
I use a black background usually, but I think it'd be very very cool to get the navbar to be transparent. Even if the button glow had to be removed (when I run AOKP, I turn the button glow off anyway - I think it looks retarded how it gets cut off on the top and bottom on shorter nav bars).
Would definitely be interested in seeing something done here.
Couldnt we just get a cm build from them and copy the framework required?
I'd love a transparent volume indicator. I know its available but I want to have it on the stock Google ROM.

Awesome would be 80 or 100% transparebt Statusbar i think kind of easier. But i don't know either.. but i may be wrong

I believe it's relative to the launcher and ROM you are using. For example, on AOKP ROM I can hide all the toggles or I can have them hide when I don't need to use them.
If you are using stock or stock rooted, the option is probably not there. It's also possible a launcher could help out but I'm not quite sure. I really think it's relative to the ROM.
Helpful tips to OP... No one answered you cause of a few things; your title doesn't attract well. The post has no good info for us to help you at all. Take time in posting things, don't just rush to ask, other wise you get nothing.
