I bought me a xbox 360 and planned to use my data on my phone to use to tether to my xbox 360. I used it at am buddies house before on his, worked flawlessly. Im using serenity 1.2 and just flashed back to the M6 firefly of the jellybean port by DG. When I open up multiplayer on xbox live, the screen says NAT:Strict. Anyway around this? Thabk you for whoever replies.

I know with routers you have to forward the dmz host to the ip of the console. I would try out the port forwarding app in Google play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=at.bherbst.net

Hello everybody, I have a question and I know there is a wealth of Tech wisdom on this forum. How can I benefit pairing my cellphone to my samsung t.v. set via bluetooth? I want to learn new things to do with my cell phone.

I tried this and it does not work for me.
Look for Samsung remote un the play store. Both the tv and phone need to be connected to the same wifi to work.

And you need the right model tv. Basically 2011 or newer I believe.

I am currently using Samy Go remote because it is the only remote that works in Tablet Mode. But my quest ion has to do with bluetooth and not wifi. I love streaming thru wifi. But why do they have bluetooth?

I'm guessing it has to do with options. I imagine not everyone has wifi.

yeah I used the remote app before. Works fine, has all the buttons the normal remote does. All of them don't fit on the screen though. You actually have to scroll up and down the remote from what I remember.

I don't BT to my TV, bt on my TV runs my keyboard.
That actually seems really cool to me. Do all sammy tvs do that?

Allot of the newer ones do. Mine does allot more MINE. Dont even need a PC for the TV now.
I have a Panasonic viera plasma instead of a Sammy set and it works great from my phone. It uses wifi to connect instead of bt.
With Allshare, I can view pics and stream music but not videos.
Comes in handy because my couches tend to eat my remotes, the phone is always in my pocket
It looks like the general consensus is that bluetooth from the phone to the tv is worthless and wifi is way more useful.
If I helped you out in any way please thank me. Thanks.
I connected my phone to my google TV made by Sony. I can use it as a remote to control the TV but that's about it. I'm sure you could transfer files if you found some reason you needed to lol.
Does anyone know how to do this? The evo did it fine as there was a hdmi port. E4gt should do this. Should it not
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
You need an mhl adapter in order to connect the E4GT to the TV. You can find them easily online.

lol yes.. can stream but if you want to mirror phone screen onto tv needs to use the mhl adapter to use hdmi.. i have the adapter but sometimes will use twonky media server on phone or another media server app and use the ps3 to stream through instead of a computer but my tv isnt smart ;-) you should b able to stream straight to your smart tv.. but only your media files unless he uses the adapter

Only downside is you can't charge while using it.

I have a linksys e4200 with a HDD connected by USB on it, i have a network set up so that apple tvs and other media devices can stream from it, but i have not yet found a good app that can do it on my GS3. I don't care if it's a paid app, i just want a solid nice looking streaming app.

Go for Wondershare. It's free, and works great for NAS as well as http/mms streams from online.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wondershare.player
I found BSPlayer free...wow finally a good app, just entered my routers default ip and voila, streaming 1080p mkv videos with 0 lag
Plex is your answer. whatever you are using now, scrap it. plex has clients for pc, mac, linux, android/google tv, ios, roku, ect. it handles media shares through other plex servers and DLNA. trust us, you will thank us.

Scrap everything..... use TVMobili... its perfect NON-Java based. Plays Mkv without transcoding straight from my NAS to my Samsung TV, I use BubbleUpnp as the app on my phone to control it all...

Has anyone found a game that will allow two or more players to compete head-to-head using an ad-hoc wireless network? If Nintendo can pull it off, I'd think that Android could, too. Why play online when you and your friends could set up and play on a hand-held wireless LAN party?
Maybe I just gave away a million dollar idea.

GT Racing does. I think it allows you to host the server even.

Having problems connecting my PS4 to my mobile hotspot, I have a Tmo note 3 but currently using MetroPCs. I don't have the hotspot with my service so I tether Hotspot with the widget and use it that way (For free) but the main problem is using my PS4 with it, My ps4 is able to obtain IP Address and have interne access but the PSN sign-in always fail, So I called up sony and told them my problem and they said something about Port forwarding or something like that and they gave me a website with the ports I need to access the PSN is there anyway I can port forward off a mobile hotspot?
After you set up your settings on the ps4, sign in to psn. Then try and test again. Happened to me, and I thought it was my internet connection. But it was bcuz I didnt sign into psn after I saved all my network settings.
