Hi, I was wondering if anyone is having issues with phone call volume starting at max level.
I know I turned it down but randomly when I make calls sometimes, volume is set to MAX. I don't know what's causing it to do this. Anyone with the same issue?
Thanks

Hey guys, I'm having issues with in-call volume getting reset to the max randomly on my T-Mobile Note 2. I know this is AT&T forum but I just wanted to ask if any of you guys on AT&T Note2s are having this random in-call volume max bug? I have 3x Note2 and all 3 of them seems to have this issue, especially after restarting the phone, in-call volume is always set to max by default. It doesn't seem like anyone in T-Mobile forum knows what I'm talking about...so I thought I would ask here =(
Please let me know how your Note 2 is behaving.
Hey guys, I'm having issues with in-call volume getting reset to the max randomly on my T-Mobile Note 2. I know this is N7100 forum but I just wanted to ask if any of you guys on N7100 are having this random in-call volume max bug? I have 3x Note2 and all 3 of them seems to have this issue, especially after restarting the phone, in-call volume is always set to max by default. It doesn't seem like anyone in any note2 forums knows what I'm talking about...And I'm not getting any replies back so I thought I would ask here =(
I'm running everything stock.
Thanks for your time.
Update: The problem was "Tango Video Chat", it was causing the random in-call volume and in-call volume to go max on each reboot. Removed the account and app, volume stays where i left on each reboot and no more random max in-call volume!! Happy user again~
i have the same on n7100
Already have the same on my note N7100....after restart in call volume return to maximum

Does in-call volume go up randomly when you receive or make a call? So far by default all note 2 devices seems to have maximum in-call volume by default when rebooted. Big problem is volume changing randomly during the calls =(
I really don't remember device acting like this when I had N7000 or I9300
Found the culprit... "Tango Video Chat" is causing the in-call volume to go max randomly and each reboot.
After removing the account & uninstalling the app, in-call volume now stays where I set it to even with rebooting the phone, no more random max in-call volume either!
Hi guys,
Just started to notice this while I was listening to music using my HOX where my music volume was full then I received a SMS. After receiving the notification, the volume suddenly increased knowing that it was already set to maximum.
Just now it happened again while I have my phone plugged to a speaker. I received a facebook notification then the volume increased again after receiving the notification.
Anyone else experienced this?
Anyone else? Or is it just me?

what usually happens is the music volume lowers, the beep/ding come from notification, the music volume goes back to original volume is that not the case with u?
I play music off my phone in the car. After I answer a call, the music resumes at a much lower volume, despite the fact that I haven't touched the volume on the phone or car. I have to press volume up 3 times and it doesn't go gradually up, but instantly from the low volume to the high it was at. Is there a setting to get the music volume to maintain? Using poweramp. Thanks
Anyone have a similar issue? I remember having it on the GNex as well but fixed it somehow. Cannot remember how, though. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I continue to experience this same problem on stock 4.1.2 ROM. I suspect it is a bug in the ROM. I don't know how to duplicate the problem because I have gotten calls and the volume was correctly restored. I've also tried making calls and the volume was correctly restored.
check all your sound setting and make sure that the volume is up on the system part of the sound menu...i had the same problem ...that seemed to fix it for me...
