Just flashed my phone with syndicate frozen rom. First thing how do I get my buddies now app back. I coped the APK into the system folder but it didn't come back. Do I need a samsung widget as well? I also noticed that when I swype it doesn't add spacees when I lift to go to the next word like it used to. Any suggestions? Thanks
For swype press the button on the bottom left corner» hit options» check auto spacing
For buddies now to work you need touch wiz launcher plus if the widget file name was changed it won't work

You need to use the fully loaded version not the standard that has full touchwiz functionality

(Note installed Fully Loaded ROM It is missing samsung widgets) I turned off put spaces between words and turned it back on that fixed Swype, thanks. I copied using root explorer My Buddies, Memo Pad, and Sprint TV from my stock rom. I put sprint tv in the system/app folder and the app popped up. The Memo Pad won't show and My Buddies won't show I assume these other apps are dependent on something. Maybe a samsung widget APK? Any idea on how to get My Buddies and the Memo Pad back. qbking77 made a great video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvwEGUQsn8I he didn't say where he got the memopad APK that works. Any help on the My Buddies widget would be great use that all the time. Thanks

Tried the buddies now off a stock phone, tried the one from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=13007650#post13007650. I also copied in the ODEX File. When I go my background hold down the backgroun and choose widgets no Buddies now. Am I missing something? Thanks
I'm interested in getting the Ocean waves live wallpaper on my Galaxy S2, the one that Samsung Galaxy S originally had by default. Found it on the market, but it doesn't work. It crashes before loading when i try to select it. Is there anyone that has a working version or can anyone report that it works on their Galaxy S2 ? Thanks

I have an evo shift, and I loved this wallpaper as well when I had android 2.2. Unfortunately, when I upgraded to 2.3.3 it stopped working, same force close error. I read somewhere else that this is because the libraries that this wallpaper uses are incompatible with android 2.3.... Also, because I am not a developer and know nothing about programming these things, I have no idea what that means or how to fix it. I'm hoping that somebody can get this wallpaper working on 2.3 soon, because it is beautiful and I would love to be able to use it again.
Great substitute for Ovean Waves live wallpaper
Since I haven't been able to find a working version either, I came up with a substitute.
Install Touch Ripples from app market. Be sure to get the paid app so you can change the background picture.
Set ocean waves.jpg (attached) as background within the wallpaper app. Move the size sliders (at top) all the way to the right for the best picture.
You'll want to play with the settings to get the ripples just right. At least we can have a look-a-like until samsung updates the wallpaper app.

Ive loved the Samsung LWP since the original Galaxy S...essentially the issue with many of these ported Samsung LWP is that they do not work at all on 2.3 and will only work with 2.2. I have tried several ways to try to install them however as far as I know looking at other threads regarding to these LWP is that the Samsung LWP was relatively integrated into their framework, in part with TouchWiz, therefore cannot be ported easily. HTC Sense is also relatively the same with only one that I know of which works perfect with 2.3 but requires relative changes to the root of the phone (does not work on Samsung but worked on all other HTCs). All the others FC unfortunately.
Koi free live wallpaper is equally good and its free.

Hello Guys,
This can be worked in ODEXED build roms only. The name of Wallpaper is "Secretwallpaper1.apk" with a odex file(I have renamed to .txt, please rename to .odex extn). Find the attached file & push both files in /System/app with rights of -rw-r--r--. then reboot.
If anyone can Deodexed the apk then it will be wonderful.

Anyone know if it can be ported to ICS? I have tried several times to install the apk manually and even flashable zip available on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 forums, but everytime I try to open it on my phone or tablet, it says "unfortunately, eBook has stopped." I also installed the same apk on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it worked fine, except for when I tried to import books it gave me the same message and quit. I hope somebody can help me out with this, its the best ebook app I've ever used, and no other reader is satisfactory. Lol. I've included the ebook.zip below in case someone can tweak it and help me out. It's the flashable zip, the apk can be found by unzipping the file. Let me know if anybody has any ideas. Thanks guys.
You're supposed to install the "MyFiles" app as a system app too for it to work, but I tried that and it still doesn't work as MyFiles force closes on the GN. I really hope there is a way to make the app work on this phone cause it's the best ereader app.

I have both Note2 ang GS3.
In GS3 gallery there is a nice thing about share: near the share button there is the most used app that we use to share.
So it's easy to share a photo with WhatsAapp or FB because I need only one tap.
In the Note2 Gallery I cant see this feature so:
- is it possible to enable this feature?
- is there a gallery app on market that do the same?
- is it possible to port GS3 Gallery app on Note2? (if yes, how?)

If ur s3 is rooted u can try sending gallery.apk from system/app to ur note 2 and then install it as a normal apk or push it to system/app and set permissions..

+1 I've also been hunting for this. I heavily use S-Note on my Note 10.1 and would like to sync (using FolderSync) to my Note 4 for compatibility with Action Memo (which is now baked into the S-Note v4+ app).

I've been wondering about this as well since Action Memo was merged into SNote on the Note 4. Having Action Memo be an entirely separate app and on the tablet is kind of an annoyance now.

I was reading into a bit and realized that it would need a bit more work than just uninstalling the current apk and reinstalling the one from the note 4. it needs SPen functionality which would need those files also deleted from the 10.1 and transfered over from the note 4. anyone on good terms with a dev that could look into it for us?
I took the apk from my note 4 and installed it on my note pro 12.2. No go

Thats what i figured, it needs some system files probably with a modded base to recognize it as a note 4

It will need new S Note apks and some of the system/lib files.

If someone can reference the right files and instructions ill give it a try and see if it works.
Other than that looks like were stuck unless we can get a devs help.
So i went through my system files using titanium back up and these are the five files which jumled out to me to be the ones specific for the SPen and functionality

Hi. I'm also looking for new app. However in fact the only thing I need is to stick notes from Action Memo on my desktop. New (Note 4) edition has pin icon, which allows to create those widgets. If you know any other option to gain this functionality - let me know.
so i got some info back from a Developer and pretty much it has to be baked into a ROM. its NOT as easy as flashing the apks and working, the Sys UI has to be modified/adapated to integrate the new Snote/aircommand. I believe this is also the case for the Monte Blanc features in Snote.
Just curious which rom is everyone running? maybe we can ask the dev to take a look at it and donate to him for getting it done.

Hi have you had any luck? I'm on the note 3 and haven 2 10.1's, a 2014 10.1, 2 samsung notebooks and a samsung win 7 tablet- I dont see an updated version available for windows, just the same as the note 3.
Not really. Kinda gave up looking. I contacted a dev and he said he would look into it..... But he said not to hold my breath. Ita tied into the 4.4.4 firmware and our devices would need a rom based on those. Is it possible, yes... But its gonna take work and know how. I for one dont have the know how.
I am on 4.4.4, if I have the app, I can give it a try
