Anyone know what the current status/projections are for getting lte up and running in the Tampa Bay area? I know they lost it as one of the regions being worked on now...haven't seen even a snippet of 4g yet...Sigh

This is apparently the coverage for sprint LTE when they finish it. Pretty interesting, hopefully its soon.
My area is covered but won't be active for almost 2 yrs plenty of time foe more awesome phones

Yeah I think that's the main problem, having to wait so long for LTE.

What are the lines supposed to represent?
I think they are supposed to represent different markets or something. Definitely not states
I won't be moving to Montana any time soon.

Hopefully they add lte coverage to the Seattle area soon. I am happy with my epic 4g touch for now but am looking forward to future sprint phones and better coverage.

I love this map.
What's even more encouraging is that you have to keep in mind, this is only LTE coverage at the end of Network Vision. The end of Network Vision does not signal the end of LTE expansion; remember that LTE was added into NV, and is a broader network overhaul than just adding LTE. Sprint will continue to expand afterwards, possibly including repurposing the WiMax spectrum.

I'm guessing the lines represent major highways seeing that sprint tends to follow them as far as towers go
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA
Hell yea big ups to 4G & LTE being strong on the highways in Ohio lol

The lines are market areas.
I think those lines represent service regions.
Lol to the whole thread everyone guessing about the lines.

Check out sensorly, it's really nice to see actually markings for your area because it's actual user marking it and not sprint, this is how we're actually able to map the lte test sites when sprint won't tell us anything until it's actually finished

This doesn't really say anything in regards to how many of those 3G points have been supplemented with LTE right?

Ummm, kinda does when the points match and the fact that my phone only connected to lte and nothing else, cause before it use to be a higher number of 3g point obviously and a few 4g, now they match point for point

Sorry to inform you, but Orange County is not slated to launch LTE until April or so....
They are on the Phase II list and LA Metro (Phase I) is not even complete yet.
But I did see 5 minutes of 4G last week. (In LA that is...)

You can grab Phone Info and set your radio to LTE Only. If you still have data, then you are not 'trippin' and have an LTE connection.
What is your speed though? I'm getting pretty good speeds here in the D.C area.
It was only on for a bit, my speeds were no where near what you got.

I have LTE enabled plan in Chicago and I get LTE signal and speeds there.
I've been traveling last week, got LTE signal in las vegas without changing any settings. I arrived to los angeles yesterday and since then have only had H signal (which I believe is hdspa).
Not sure what's wrong.
