RUU is the software that is used to flash back the phones OS into a factory state.
ROM Update Utility for long, it is an exe that contains all the things needed for the phone to work, like kernle, recovery, tha OS itself etc...
Thanks

Okay man chill for now, just to be sure:
- kernel you use now
- recovery you use now
- os you use now
nandroid if you have, and from wich state (before root/custom os)
- the RUU ver of your phone (which do you need, if you don't know tell which country and carrier you use)
Titanium kernel.I did a nandroid backup after rooting.before flashing any roms

Then you will need the ruu of your phone (as I see yours will be from Lebanon the asia 2.09.707.1) from wich you can extract the boot_signed.img because you will need the stock kernel. (this step can be left if you want to stay at the custom kernel, but then OTA will not be install if it will be)
Go to cwm either from hboot or
adb reboot recovery
flash the nandroid backup, and you're ready to go.
If you want to return the stock, flash the standard recovery of the phone (and then the stock kernel is necessary too)
ugh nvm
Just a question can I flash a boot.img in mobile terminal? Or would that not work?

And i feel your despare.....what if you deinstall rommanager/Rom toolbox (its a crap piece of software anyway) and only reflash a recovery with the fastboot commands, then enter it and check if it works.....
Its a strange issue and the right guy (or girl) has to scroll by and see the problem. This might take time
what do you mean two recoveries? when you boot it goes to one and when you into boot recovery the other?
I did flash everything with fastboot comands. No rom toolbox.

you dont need root acces to wipe the recovery .... it has nothing to do with the rom, go ahaead and delete it then flash back one of them
If i do fastboot erase recovery will it erase both recoveries?

R: [Q] Missing PK76DIAG.zip during HBOOT
Nobody has that file. When you go to hboot it will keep saying missing file bla bla. Don't look at that, it doesn't matter
The reason I'm asking is because when I try to flash recovery it won't recognize my device so I did a little research and i found that it had to do something with that file not being found

That's a driver problem. Did you install htc sync?
Yes

R: [Q] Missing PK76DIAG.zip during HBOOT
Connect the phone in fastboot mode, go to computer - >manage - >there should be a device with our driver. Right click on it, update driver and locate it manually in htc sync folder
I'm currently at work but I will try this soon as I'm home

Custom rom, custom recovery ? At least unlock the bootloader first. Think we need to flash.....
Why should I unlock bootloader when update is official?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Rom is stock but I don't know about recovery
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
If recovery is not original we need to flash it. Unlocking is necessary
But how to find out recovery is original or not?

When you are in the bootloader you look for the option RECOVERY.
And if you are sure there is nothing deleted from your stock rom (system apps/Optus apps) then you only need to flash this recovery and update again

Restore a clean stock nandroid backup. The ota patches the files, now they are missing and fails.
