Just got an unlocked N7100. Really liking it, but how do I change the temperature units from celsius to fahrenheit on the lockscreen weather display? Thanks
Add the weather widget, tap on it, hit menu button -> settings and change it there.

thanks! Does that weather widget only work for touchwiz? I like the look but prefer using Nova launcher.

hey guys I just downloaded launcher pro and pro plus, I can't find my stock weather widget, is there a fix or something to get it back inside launcher pro? plus I can't find a short cut for my 4g, airplane mode, GPS etc. buttons, can someone help me I'm a noob to this stuff

HTC widgets will not be available while LauncherPro or Pro + is your launcher. Switch back to the stock launcher to access HTC widgets.
thanks Doug, it would be a perfect launcher if the HTC Widgets were available, oh yea loving the Miami hurricanes avatar, that's who I root for

you can find the power control widget when you long press for a widget, it has most of the options, the 4g toggle widget you find it on the market, and a similar weather widget you could try fancy widget pro, which i think its free only today on amazon store

I agree. Anyway, here is a photo of my current homescreen. I use the Beautiful Widgets Weather, Minimalistic Text for the Date as well as LauncherPro.
thanks emc the power control widget is cool, and Doug thanks also, I put beautiful Widgets super clock on my home screen, gives me what I wanted... the big clock and the current weather for the city I'm in, plus I can still tap the minutes and bring up my alarms etc..

On my brand new, beautiful, stock AT&T Note II, the Beautiful Weather Superclock widget has a "visual" glitch when I set location to "geolocation" (which is the default): weather *is* correctly updated, but the location is reported as "N/A". This is not pretty. Any ideas? Thanks!
I think it might be the gps. Mine displays one city north of mine, which is pretty close by but still. I use another widget to display my correct city :/
Thanks. Which widget do you use? I'd like one that has a 4x1 version.

Anyone mind sharing your weather widgets or know a nice wv post here cause the 1 that comes with TW is a shame takes up to much ram and rewrites and lags up the launcher by just scrolling. Deactivate it and its parts and your phone is going much snappier.

+1 for Android Weather. Just dled it last night but its the best weather widget I've ever used. I like how yo can open your calendar and clock app from the widget. Thanks for the heads up in this.
I use WeatherLove (Free on Market) , customisable , gps based (can be disabled) , transparency capable ... Have a try
HD Weather Widgets. Very customizable. It's foggy at the moment (you can see a cloud in the middle, under the clock). Background is set to Transparent.
Beautiful widgets.
It doesn't consume so much RAM or processor power.

I was wondering if anyone has found a way to set a live wallpaper as a lock screen. I know you can use widget locker and set the wallpaper on your background and it will show up on the lock screen as well, not looking for that. Any help would be awesome thanks.

On a TWiz ROM, go into Display settings->wallpaper, select "desktop and lockscreen". Select "live wallpapers"....Profit.
I'm currently using Nova on my Galaxy, and I'd like to know how I could remove the alarm clock info, the taskbar(if could make it transparent that would be fine also), the T-Mobile text (it doesn't show in the picture, but it's there), and the way when I pull down it shows that useless box/outline. I'd prefer to keep Nova as well. I don't want anything on my lock screen.

Are you rooted?

Nova doesn't control the lockscreen at all, look in the system settings for lockscreen options. And if your ROM supports transparent notification's bar then under Nova settings (May be a Nova Prime only feature) there should be an option for transparent notification bar support.
Yes, I'm rooted.

There's no in system lock screen option to make it transparent, or at least I can't find it. In nova there is, but it only makes it transparent in the home screen, not lock screen.
