Play Store Getting Force Close - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

I'm using the 11–7 nightly if CM10 and I've been getting lots of force closes when using the Play Store. Installed latest Gapps. Fixed permissions multiple times and cleared cache for Android Media. Help? 77

Bump for help?
Update: I'm now getting the "process.android.media has stopped" error.
Occurs when I try to download a new app.

In apo management, try cleasring cache and data for Play Store and Google services framwork. Then reboot and try again.

Tried that and kept getting an error when I try to download apps from the store.
Also, did a reinstall of the nightly and gapps again.
But to no avail, also cleared the cache for media.
Decided to do a system wipe and start from scratch, I am able to install apps now.
Will update if the problem re-emerges.

Sorry you had to resort to starting over. But I'm glad you got it working again!

It's fine, with Titanium Backup and a backup from Apex Launcher I was able to get my phone pretty much back to how I had it in less than an hour.

I'm on the liquid ROM and can someone explain to me why play store won't even open.

Market force closing

All of a sudden today, anytime I log into the Market and then click an actual app, it crashes. Is this a system wide Android Market down thing today ?

Tried that. Rebooted now can't get into Market at all. Says server error retry. Kept retrying and nothing.

Hm, just noticed that I have the same issue as the op; any clue anyone..? Cleared the data on Google Services Framework and can't log in to the market either.
P.S. Apps install just fine from the web market to the phone.
Need to push this up; I've now flashed a new rom after full wipes and it's still there.
Gummy's latest & latest trinity kernel, gsm o2 Germany.

edit:
if clearing cache
setting another zone with MarketEnabler
and resetting language to US doesn't work - reinstall gapps.

Data connection problems

I just got my Note 2 yesterday and rooted it using the root toolkit v3.0 and I flashed the Whompasaurus 2.4 rom. Whenever I tried installing apps from the play store they would never start downloading, the bar would just keep loading. I cleared the cache and data from the Google Play Store, Google Play Services, Google Services framework then rebooted and still couldn't download anything from the play store but I could connect to the internet using the browser. I can also use the xda and other apps that used internet.I reflashed the rom by wiping cache, dalvik, system, and factory reset and the same thing still happened. So I gave up and went to bed. Woke up and the apps installed no problem. Later today I had trouble updating some apps. Now im having issues with the Accuweather clock/waether widget updating the weather. It just keeps loading amd loading but never refreshes. Does anyone know whats going on or how to fix this? Thanks.

Sounds whack. I am not at all familiar with that ROM, and I've never run into such an issue so I can't give you any direct advice on that. Have you tried flashing other ROMs though? It sounds like it may just be a bug in that build.

Tried everything from the moon to the sun.
Error 493 or 491, package is not valid, etc.
I've tried everything and then some. Removed googlw account, reboot, add google account. Cleared data and cache on playstore. Uninstalled updates. Cleared data on services framework. Rebooted, rebooted, and rebooted some more.
NOTHING is working. What in the hell is going on?????
P.s. even tried cache and dalvik clear tgrough recovery. Even flashed a new rom, factory reset, all that. When I say I tried everything from the m9on and sun, I mean it.

You haven't modified your DPI settings or are using a ROM which requires some sort of modded Play store are you? Or changed build.prop settings?

Nope. Same problem on Virgin Rom, Golden Eye Rom (where I noticed the problem), then Darth stalker ROM.
All have the same issue. Even factory resetted on all ROMs. Same issue.
Here's the kicker. I'll try something new that I haven't tried before, then 1 app that was giving me problems will actually download. Then to definitely make sure if it's been fixed, try downloading something like Rom toolbox, same error message.
This happened ever since Virgin Rom, and really started taking effect once I flashed Goldeneye ROM.
Not saying those ROMs are the root cause, but just giving you guys a more clear picture of when this started happening.
If anything, it happened ever since I re rooted my phone.
Remove your Google account and re add it. Also recommend clearing data for Google play services, play store, and Google services framework as mentioned above. Do all this at once then reboot. Should fix it. At least it did for me.

Just realized that romtoolbox is the only app that gives me problems now.

Package invalid

Okay so first things first:stock rom stock everything
What I've tried before asking for help
1. Tried re-downloading said apps (multiple apps)
2.uninstall-reinstall
3.clear playstore information
4.opera normal is the only one of a couple that are giving this error that I care about. Tried using other versions of opera that have never been installed before on this device or downloaded from my playstore account, they work perfectly fine. Its just the one version that just happens to be (what's in my opinion) the best.
Havent tried a factory reset, this happened after I synced/updated with kies and added a whole bunch of music on my standard 16gb sd card....had to move it from my phone storage because it caused problems
My question is obviously how do I fix this?
As a part 2 to that question how do I figure out where my phone is default installing apps? It should be the phone storage not the sd card right?
EDIT/UPDATE: FIREFOX GIVES SAME ERRORS

Or you could roll back to a previous version of the PlayStore by uninstalling the current one.
That worked in a number of cases.
I had the same problem and I had to do the following:
1. Cleared the cache and data from: Google play store, Google Play services, and Google Services Framework
2. If under the Google play store there is a button to uninstall updates do that as well.
3. Reboot into recovery and clear cache and the davik cache
I then rebooted and I was fine. Have not seen the problem since

Nexus 7 Flo 4.4.2 gapps failure

Gapps failure is the best way I can describe my problem. About a week ago my nexus 7 decided to reboot itself while I was in the middle of some gaming (asphalt 8 I think). I took it as just you know the system needed it and said whatever.
The next day some apps start having problems. Specifically Google play apps. Then all of a sudden my nexus reboots and starts boot looping on the 4 colored balls part of the boot animation and then keeps going Google then balls. Back and forth.
I used nexus toolkit (v1.8.0 I think) to reboot the device in adb then ended up reflashing stock because the problems persisted.
Now the device is not bootlooping but every few mins some app force closes or pops up saying jot responding. Or even 7-10 different popups...
Idk what to do now. Please help?
NOTE:
This nexus 7 was purchased around Christmas time at my local best buy. It has been unlocked and rooted. Only things I ever did was use titanium backup to restore some game data from my phone. Never did anything more than that! And I guessed maybe a virus (if there is any such thing on android) did this but kaspersky reports no malware of any kind.
Apps and processes that fail:
Google play
Play music
Play books
Play games
Play magazine
Google+
Gmail
Google currents
Play movies
Google search
Google keyboard
Google text to speech
I don't remember the processes that crash so when they do I will update you on what they are. Please help!

What I would recommend that you do is use the nexus root toolkit to install twrp recovery manager then boot into recovery manager and try clearing cache and everything but dont clear data and see if that helps.
If after you try that the problem still persists then boot into recovery manager and wipe everything....cache, Dalvik, and data.
By wiping data you will have removed your apps but they can easily be reinstalled with google play. You can use titanium backup to restore game data.
Oh and give this a try first...create a new gmail account and add that account under settings and see if that fixes anything. If under the new account you dont see any problems try switching back to your original account and see if the problems go away.
Hope it helps...

Thanks droidshadow for your response. Seeing how no one else commented this really must be an issue with my device. Not widely known. I attempted your solutions to no avail so I will be sending it to Asus. Hopefully they will give me a nice unit back that has no problems.

You did get TWRP on it? You could go all out with a custom ROM. In any case this looks like a simple enough issue to fix. Go to settings > apps > scroll right to all > now scroll down to Google Play Services, click on it and then clear cache. Now go down to Google Play and clear data, clear cache and then force stop. Ignore any misbehaving warning you may see. Now go open Google Play and re-register if asked. Let me know of if this helps.
What's going on should not require you to send it in. Worst case you do a complete factory reset with fastboot and not some tool.

Thank you for your tips. I actually did clear cashe and data on the services and even on other apps that randomly shut off. It temporarily fixed the issue for about an hour then all issues came back.
I have reset with nexus toolkit, I have factory reset while on the tablet. And I have also erased everything in the stock recovery.
It sounds like a simple issue but its not being resolved! I thought about just putting on cm11 or something but not sure if that would fix it considering these problems persist. Even with a different gmail account on it.
