I wanted to share a ported bootanimation from wilskywalker mega-thread [BOOTANIMATIONS - LINKS & INFO] Galaxy Nexus Custom Boot Animations & Mods. He of course cleared me sharing this.

It needed a bit of a resize to fit to our screen resolution.
I use it all the time because it is toned down but you can still see something is happening.
Rename the file to bootanimation.zip and put it in your /data/local/ so it stays persistent when flashing a new ROM. Alternatively put it in /system/media/ if your kernel does not support the first option.

Original GIFs and boot sound taken from *here* courtesy shenshang. (I just converted them into a format compatible with our devices.)
Should work for most custom ROMs, and may work for stock if you use this guide.

Place bootanimation.zip in "/system/media/" and "/data/local/", and poweron.ogg (from poweron.zip) in "/etc/". Back up files if you think you might want to restore your original boot animation and/or sound.
Since I miss the crazy stock ICS boot animation and I like the simplicity of the JB animation. I thought why not have both?

Installation:
1. Download
2. Copy to /system/media/bootanimation.zip
3. Reboot
4. ???
5. PROFIT!
Very cool. Thanks. I'll definitely be using that.

You should look for bootanimation factory, it's on xda. If you only want to see that picture, it's very easy to create.
EDIT: oh I see this is animated...you need the single .PNG images for a bootani.
Rom toolbox app from market has a gif-to-bootanim feature...could be great but never works lol.
At least it gives a bunch of pngs that can be used:
Here in a cwm zip (will install it to /data/local):

Okay, the stock google bootanimation was really bugging me because the pattern does not do a full 360-degree rotation. so, i fixed it. see preview below:

my fixed version:
if you can't see the difference, you don't have OCD about little details like i do
see attachments for download.
bootanimation.zip is just the boot animation file if you want to push it to your system partition manually.
google_bootanim_fixed_flashable.zip is flashable via TWRP or CWM.
enjoy!
Here's the Google Pixel bootanimation resized for our devices! It should work in any 540p device, too.

I've included a flashable ZIP (which contains an addon.d script) and the standalone bootanimation in the attachments.
Original here.
Enjoy!
great sir
can you make the black version?
because white is too much bright for me
