Hi all.
I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find and purchase miscellaneous phone parts: specifically, the top and bottom tabs/covers on the back of the Xperia ion.
I did a deep web search and watched the n00b video, I don't know where else to turn and I just got this sweet ion at a great deal, but those covers were missing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

just wanted to know this because im a lil bit confused. i'm tryn to order a full housing for my play but all i see on ebay is housing for r800 Z1i but i have a r800a. should i still order this one (r800 Z1i) or is there a housing for the r800a or is there no housing at all for r800a? any input/help will be greatly appreciated.

ok thanks but that doesnt fully answer my question. i dont really care bout color i just want to know what housing can i get for r800a.
I didn't know there were special housing offers to Xperia Play owners... wonder what it's like to live in an Xperia Play community.

I think what he meant is that they're all the same. I'm almost certain of this, but not entirely sure. So you'll just find different colors, for instance I got my phone through AT&T (r800at), so it's blue!
EDIT: For reference, I believe the r800i is the International version, r800a is the north American version, r800at is the AT&T version, and r800x is the Verizon version. Maybe some of these might be used by other carriers as well, but I think that mostly sums it up. And as far as I know, they all have the same housing. I'm actually not sure what the Z1i is though... just be sure you're not getting a bigger cover for the extended batteries (which make your Play bigger), unless you are getting an extended battery! (for example, extended battery: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Ericsson-Extended-Capacity-Replacement/dp/B005OPHNBA = not unless you want your Play bigger)

Z1i is just another name for the phone, dimensions stay the same for the different versions.

maybe bumping an old thread.. also not sure if all you ppl have the xplay anymore.. I do.. and I recently found out this Blue Housing which I couldn't for the Xperia PLay for a long time..

As stated in the title, i have succeed on losing my back piece of the mask, the one that increase the signal and wireless strength... As i can't find nowhere around a new mask, nor i have seen it somewhere on the web, is anyone able to provide me with the supplier who might have it? I'm from Europe, and i need it shipped here... (to be more clear, Serbia). However, I believe this part might be build from some old phone cases (for example, i had cha cha.), any thoughts on this?

If someone know how to do it meyby you can explain? I found only one vid on youtube but no screen replacing there..
Also meyby someone knows where to get white screen? On ebay can be found only black one.

I used just a normal universal glue. But you will need something precise to glue it to the frame, because its very thin.

I can buy the original LCD from China LCD factory.
its much better to buy set: lcd+touch+frame it is easier to replace, because you dont have to glue the screen to the frame what is quite difficult. You can buy sets screen+frame on aliexpress for about 30$, and screen only its about 20$.
I dropped a step bit on my phone at work and destroyed the screen. Ha anyone down a teardown of the device? Have any tips or links you can throw my way?
