With all this talk about law suits and moral disgust, I thought this video summed up the situation very well.
Hope you enjoy and comment , the work is not mine but I found it opened my mind.

Like it. Laws need to change with time as long as they hold true to our constitution

Great video. It's exactly what went wrong with the broken patent system and copyright laws.
Everyone should watch this.

Great, informative video and thanks for sharing!
Np all I really thought you would all enjoy. Not bias just informative .

Too idealistic and biased IMO but well intended and addressing a problem that needs to be dealt with. It would do well to help its goal if they dump the evolution BS at the beginning. They dig too deep to be artsy fartsy... a little more direct to the issue would let me finish the whole thing.
Thanks for posting it... a subject that needs a lot of attention.
bump helps attention .

I upgraded to the Galaxy Nexus a little while ago and am officially decommissioning my Droid Incredible 2 (but I'll still keep it as a backup just in case). I won't have time to root it until this weekend, but once I do, I look forward to sharing my ROM flashing adventures with you guys. And with the sheer number of ROMs available for this device, it looks like I'll be in flashaholic heaven.

Quick question. I disabled Google books and Google earth, but they keep re-enabling themselves and reappearing in my app drawer. I thought disabling unwanted system apps was supposed to prevent this.

I noticed that when I first got the phone and was running a stock rom. Doesn't seem to be an issue when custom roms.
Also, if you haven't unlocked your bootloader yet, remember to back up the important stuff because it will wipe everything.

Get to rooting that phone, and being a part of the greatest android community!
Ok,I know there are going to be LG, Samsung, Motorola, HTC..whom else and which manufacture,s product will you buy... Whom is the 5th maker ?
These are the ones I'd choose.
Me 1) Samsung 2) Motorola 3) HTC.

Well, you don't actually know...
Its a rumor still.
You're referring to the Wall Street Journal report? I don't believe they said they'd all be phones or all be released at the same time, so Asus would be the likely fifth manufacturer and they've already begun with the Nexus 7 tablet.
There won't be 5 Nexus phones. And until we see the next Nexus phone we won't know who makes it.
Stop reading Android blogs. It's just propaganda!
Samsung, HTC, Sony, Motorola, and Asus is who I want . I really think the updates would be scattered if this happens. So hopefully there is one GSM pentaband Nexus and 4 other devices supported almost as much as the nexus.

The WSJ said there'll be 5 Nexus devices this year. We've already seen 2, the Nexus 7 and Nexus Q. The new Nexus phone will come out at the end of the year, and there are rumors of a Nexus 10 at around the same time. Leaves 1 device left unaccounted for.

You could replace "Android" with just about anything in that statement. Android blogs should be read like tabloid magazines. Just for entertainment that, for the most part, shouldn't be taken seriously. But I do enjoy reading some
As for the question. IMHO every manufacture has made a poor device, just hope whoever is picked respects the brand
Me? I'd like to also see a Sony nexus

I would rather have a user post a stupid question and learn how to do something the correctly than to have them be worried and screw up... Everyone's gotta start somewhere - none of us just magically knew how to do all of this.
Anyways, enjoy your new phone! When I got mine, the very first thing I did was unlock, flash TWRP and install AOKP. ^_^ Coming from a locked Droid X2, this is like heaven to me.
Me too! Came in the mail today as well. Have you tried wallet yet? I had a S3 and I never could get wallet to work. That's what prompted the nexus.
Have not yet any luck with it ?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
No. I'm scared to. lol. I tried it after doing the hack job to the S3 and I looked like an idiot at the store when it didn't work. Maybe today I'll give it a go. Will keep you posted.
Thx

Yea Im def thinking of getting a extended bat too but there isn't anything good in the market. The few reviews I've seen all say the charging port breaks off the case after a month use....

It was already installed when I received the phone. I have the gsm version. If you're on Verizon, I think there is a way to get it installed. Check out the galaxy s3 forum for instructions. Just a note, I followed the instructions there before I returned the s3 and wallet never worked.
Aw well I will look into it see if I can find something about it thanks man
