okay so with the air play thing when i go to hover over something like an icon on the home screen or anywhere for that matter, sometimes it will open it like i clicked the screen when i never actually touched the screen. should i go to sprint or is there something i could try first? thanks guys!!
If you're within you're 14 day period, get it replaced, they swore up and down it was just a feature of the phone at the sprint store and Samsung themselves, but if you bought it online through sprint, call and get it replaced, if you got it at a store stand firm and make them replace it, same thing happened to mine, got a new note and the pen was the issue with the last one

Could also be the sensitivity setting in the S pen. mine was clicking and marking all over the place. I found directions on the web somewhere, but you basically pop out the clickable button cover on the pen with the edge of razor blade (it will go back on), and you will see the adjustable slot by the actual button, turn it counter clockwise, with a small screwdriver or similiar until the sensitivity is where you want it.
Worked for me. Good Luck

Hello,
I just noticed a couple of days ago that a section of my screen has become slighly unresponsive. It appears to be intermittent, and Swype in Landscape mode is primarily affected.
In landscape mode, keys m, j, and u are not responding. During shutdown as well, the power off confirmation both yes and no button locations are unresponsive.
These areas of the screen are responsive usually, except during power off confirmation and using Swype. Could this be a software issue?
Does anyone know what might be the cause, or how to fix it?
I have not yet tried any fixes, though I may just restore using a backup ROM I made shortly after I rooted my device. If that doesn't work... then :|
EDIT: This appears to have started shortly after I installed LauncherPro, or it may have also occurred since I removed all pre-loaded Google Apps to replace with the newest versions off the Market. :\
EDIT 2: Restored my ROM, m key has regained some responsiveness, other keys no good. Using Swype, the line goes near them, and then just breaks, sometimes. Other times, if I swype really fast, I can passover and include the key, but cannot swype up vertically among them. Unable to press them directly either.
Switch to Android keyboard and things seem to be ok again... fully responsive... this is weird.
EDIT 3: Crap... one row in the middle seems to be affected... somewhat. Downloaded a drawing app, and this one row doesn't want to play nice. It responds properly in most instances, yet there definitely seems to be a problem.
EDIT 4: Appears that a section of my screen is non-responsive. A whole row. Argh. When I move shortcuts, passing nearby this 'dead row' the icons jump. In swype, it acts like an invisible barrier, either I move really fast and it sorta jumps across that key, or I move really slow, and it's like my finger is lifted off the screen. Android appears to be compensating heavily for the non-responsive section and guessing my inputs. Tapping in this area still appears to be somewhat responsive, dragging or swiping across this area is producing very mix to bad results.
I need to have the touchscreen/digitizer replaced, right? The LCD panel appears to have no issue. Argh. Could it be due to the InvisibleShield I put on top?
I had a similar problem with my G2. I tried putting one of the Zagg protective covers on it and immediately afterwards the touchscreen would not respond properly. I would have dead spots on top right of screen and bottom left. At first I thought it might have been from the solution seeping into the phone, but I think I might have used too much pressure and damaged the digitizer. I ordered one earlier this week and will update you with my results.
The screen is capacitive... which means that your finger completes an ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT. If your screen protector is blocking current at all, this will manifest as a loss of sensitivity.
The second thing to understand is that you can't just touch the screen with your finger to complete the circuit, the other end of the circuit has to be completed as well. The metal ring around the screen is the other side of the circuit! You need to be touching that metal ring in order for it to work properly. Even with the phone just resting on your hand, you may not be contacting the ring and may experience a loss of sensitivity. In portrait mode, try clamping your fingers around the back of the phone to contact the ring on the far side. In landscape mode, use your index fingers to touch the top part of the ring.
If these suggestions don't help (including removing the screen protector), then you most likely have a bad digitizer. Check the ribbon wires to make sure that they haven't pulled out at all before replacing.
Just replaced my digitizer and it works great now.

Im nit rooted, yet. Just got the phone last night and love it. Somehow I got a dock on the side of the screen. Its a little blue tab and if I pull it out it shows recient apps. And it shows up over the top of everything. Games, apps, videos, everything. It wasnt there at first, but I dont know what I did to start it and now cant make it go away. Anyone know how to turn the damn thing off?

It's the multi-view window. It lets you open multiple apps at the same time. Try dragging a couple of those apps into an open app. To make it go away all you have to do is long hold the back button or de-select the multi-view option in the quick toggles in the notification bar.
This community is the best. Long hold on the back button did it. I just upgraded from an Evo. Hopefully this community gets as strong as that one was.

Multi-view is a really cool feature. Play with it and you'll soon wonder how you lived without it.
Texting and Web View are great and the third window as a PopUp - EVEN BETTER ! lol
I double tap, and it seems like a solid 2 seconds before the note comes up. 2 seconds is a long time if you are trying to jot something down quickly.
To clarify, I am talking about opening up the note taking feature by pressing the S-PEN button and double tapping on the screen.
My note was doing the same thing and I found some crazy setting that did the trick. Mine is now almost instant. I'm looking right now trying to find that setting.....stand by.
I can't seem to find the setting now. I don't remember if I had actually turned something off or on now. I just came across it before and boom it worked. Sorry dude, but I will keep checking here in a bit after my meeting. I am also running Zedi 3.2 rom if that has anything to do with it.

OMG yes a some what huge delay; it gets annoying.
Go into S Pen settings and check the box to have S note pop up when you remove pen, it is instant upon pen removal.

Thank you Granna. That is a good work around, but not really the solution I was looking for since I don't use the note each time I pull out the pen.
Hoping for another fix.
I have another type of delay.
If you go to Snotes and try to open any note you have there it takes forever to open the note. Sometimes I think I didnt touch the icon well enough but then it opens. There are times I have to wait 4-5 sec to open a note in Snotes.
Such a slow app. However my pop-up note works very fast everytime double click with pen.

Ok, I may be stupid, but how do you back out of apps on the Moto 360? If I open mini launcher, or moto steps, I cannot "back out" unless I hit the physical button which turns the screen off..........that's annoying.........
Not that I'm in a hurry, but am I just being dumb?? I figured someone would tell me I asked a stupid question by now? Do we all really have to turn the watch on and off basically in order to get back to the watch face?

Swipe left.
Ok, I open "moto body steps" and it shows my steps, I swipe left and I get a "total" left again and I get a menu to pick the "units of measure" left again and nothing, right past the initial page and I'm back at "mini launcher" left from mini launcher and I get a menu showing my battery, the brightness, and some buttons for wife and other items..... right again and nothing..... the same is true from any app I open from Mini Launcher, so maybe that's the problem??
tried to open from the "start" menu and even from there it was exactly like above.....

Swipe from the left, but place the finger in the middle of the watch screen.
You can assign on your mobile with Wear Mini Launcher application from where the drawer position should be.
Left, bottom or right
I knew I was going to feel stupid, but I also feel much better. The first 2 days I had this watch I had a lot of trouble figuring out how I could make it useful, it seemed almost silly...... but as I continue to wear it I am seeing it's usefulness!! Thanks everyone, I'll mark it "solved" ..... and yes, it's almost always operator error for me
It's all because you didn't go through the initial intro on the watch or on the android wear app... You skipped out of it..

I just bought the Note 4 and after installing a custom recovery my bottom portion of the screen doesn't work (specifically the area where the app drawer is located on the home screen). I can use the S pen any where on the screen. I have now reverted my phone back to stock with the hopes of fixing this problem though it didn't help. Is there anything else I can do.
Also, the top portion of the screen that works seems to be off be 2-3cm. This makes me think that the calibration of the touch sensor maybe be off. Is there any way to fix that?
Edit: it seems that when I go into landscape mode there is no recognition error. Perfect accuracy and there isn't a zone that doesn't work.

Im assuming you have D.E. version of the note 4 as the retail is locked. Next question ive seen people have issues with both s-pen and screen, so is there a way you can try another s-pen on your screen and try your s-pen on another screen?

The S-Pen works fine on my phone and other devices. There just seems to be a block where the touch sensor doesnt pick up on anything. It also seems that the area for the touch sensor that is recognized by the software shrunk and isn't actually broken. So lately I have been trying to find a way to re calibrate it or find some sort of system file for me to edit the value and put them back to normal.
