hey mate,
this looks like an awesome mod.
unfortunately i don't think i'm doing it right.
I have extracted the desired font into /files and enabled usb debugging, then run the installer.
then it doesn't go further than "connect your device. make sure it's in debugging"
any ideas?

For some time I have been using a splash screen I made, and thought to share it since I haven't seen anything like it.
The idea originates from Nexus S splash screen and has the same style of logo text, white with some inner shadow. I also made some different styles, in which I used giorgisp's HDPI splash screen as background.
NOTICE! THESE WILL ONLY WORK ON HTC MAGIC AND G1 = DREAM/SAPPHIRE COMPATIBLE!

Yeah. That's because fastboot can't find the file.
And also, you must cd yourself to root directory of C drive, so the command window looks like this:
The best things, fast and work for me.

- Unzip folder 'roottools' in C:\

Sadly not, because the operating system is not able to access it's bootloader (fastboot/hboot) and because of that it's splash1 partition.

Why is this program making registry edits to my computer. Seems it is trying to gain internet access for some reason? changing proxy settings and other protected registry settings?
Need to know before allowing it to do these things.
program needs access to windows registry only to associate apk files, and internet access to checking update.

Gonna try this. Thx
DZ is still alive !!!
I really like this animation so I edited this version a little to match my device. I removed the beats audio text at the bottom and reduced the size by half without any visible loss. It's much smoother now. Also here is a video of the animation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mVUray8sw8
*edit* I also added the original version with beatsaudio in a better compressed version.

First I would like to thank Team Win for the Awesome touch recovery.
I have created a theme for TWRP. I boot into recovery ALOT,
so i figures why not theme it first.
gave it the name
-KustomPort-
Thanks to Prof Peach for the xml
I have found out the instructions to getting the theme to work, its not something you have to install
--Use at your on Risk
--Download your desired ui.zip
--If its not named ui.zip, RENAME IT.
--place it in the following directory
Code:
Computer\SGH-I317\Phone\0\TWRP\theme
--You Will have to create a folder called theme inside the TWRP folder
--place ui.zip inside the theme folder
--Thats It, Reboot into Recovery and Enjoy
ui.zip

Thanks, and
Good question, the background I used is actually cut from one of my favorite PS3 wallpapers.
-Someone would have to write an xml for it to display in landscape, I have seen it but cant find it now.(I believe it was a twrp for tablets) When I find it again I will try to port it for GN2's.
Sweet... that would be sweet if it was scrollable like the real xmb screen
Hey Twansky. What do you think I may be doing wrong? I downloaded the file to my pc. Plugged in phone navigated to phone memory found the TWRP folder which was completely empty, made a folder, named it theme and placed the downloaded file into the folder. File said ui.zip. Booted to recovery and nothing. Even hit the refresh theme or whatever it says in advanced options and no go. Thanks Twansky. Saw you were on so figured I would ask you even though your not the OP
Or Tiki if you're on and no whats going on would love to know. Thank you. Great work btw.
Well what I did was find the folder in my internal memory "TWRP" and inside that folder make a folder called "themes" then in that folder add the ui.zip, make sure to rename it to "ui.zip" if it isent already.. then reboot into recovery and bam.
