first link did the trick !!!! ..... what is the best ROM for Wildfire at your advise ?...
It depends on you
1.If you want sense ROM try RemPuzzle Rom.
2.If you want gingerbread try either MokeeOS or some version of Cyanogenmod i prefer 7.0.3 because it works great for me.
3.If you want the ICS Rom try ErwinP s work it is really good.
Thats all.Happy flashing
If you have any other question feel free to ask
Cheers

Yes that is the right guide to do a perm Root. Also what rom version is the Desire Z on? If it's on the 1.72 or 1.82 you will have to downgrade to 1.34 before you can root.
ROOT USING THIS GUIDE
If your on 1.72 or 1.82 DOWNGRADE USING THIS GUIDE.This downgrade will work for the 1.82 version, even though its for the 1.72
thank you guys for all your help I did it
Now the only thing is to choose very stable and working rom ?
Could you recommend any?
Thank you

For me stability is important, so is minimizing the number of times I have to wipe my device. So I avoid pre-release ROMs including RC's so I'm running the stock rooted ROM right now but anticipate moving to CM7 as soon as it's released and verified as stable.
hi guys i am a new one and my english not very good, sorry
i need help
i bought an htc wildfire s in last week
i dont want to use htc sense, i want to use normal android
can i install a rom which include only android 2.3.4? would it work stable?
if the answer is no, how i abrogate sense ui when i am using default rom?
i tried a method (it's for wildfire, not s);
'clearing htc sense's defaults in settings menu and pressing home'
but it's not working for wildfire s
thanks for your help
It's possible, first though you need to have your phone rooted, I assume you still have S-on so you would need to use the XTC clip. Then install a ROM without Sense, at the moment there is none, but hopefully Cyanogenmod will be ported over to the Wildfire S.

okay thanks dude but
wildfire s can't root now, i just learned that
You can use this ROM:
htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=240662
European ROM with most of Sense and Rosie stripped.
It's from a Spanish DEV forum. All credits go to them!
What can I do that's fun with this unfun phone?
My HTC wildfire s (MarvelC)
It's a good phone if you root it. Look at the post for Marvelc. Increase memory, overclock, flash custom mods and roms.

I don't really know how to root anything even with the Tut I still suck :s
My HTC wildfire s (MarvelC)
Just read and read until you understand it, I was the same way, take your time and you will be fine
Or you can install UnlockRoot on your PC. One click away from root acces. Sry for bad english.

Most od all (in my opinion) after rooting and flashing CM ROM you get much faster phone.
The best you can do at first is just read as much as you can about rooting, themeing, etc. If you know people who have rooted phones, ask them what you can do with one, blahblahblah. Rooting isn't compulsory, not everyone likes the idea.
But in my opinion, you should
Phone: HTC Wildfire S (GSM)
HTC Sense: 2.1
Software number: 2.26.163.1
Kernel: Cake v1.4 @806mhz
"You can overclock as much as you want, your phone will always seem too slow."
Thanks guys I will read and read until I get it.

Yes, you're in the wrong place. When you say "don't seems to work" do you mean that there are problems in the ROM (usually stated in the first post of the ROM) or you can't get any to flash (read a tutorial)?
You have to give more information. What doesnt work?
You tried sabsa, existz's Aospx is highly recommended. LC's IceColdcream are all great rims.

First of all it's wrong thread, secondly be clear with what problem you are facing.
In simple (if you are new to custom roms or DHD), you need
1- HTC Desire HD
2- Eng S-Off
3- Radio S-Off
4- Custom recovery
5- Custom ROM
For 2 and 3 search in "DHD Android Development" for how to root or something like that, there is tons of information available or simply google it.
Talking about custom roms everyone here has his/her own choice. What is yours
1- AOSP
2- Sense
After getting through all these procedure you might have a working ICS rom.
Good Luck......

its already s-off bro and rooted aswell, I figure when a rom is under 300mb it doesn't past boot logo, I just tried one that was over 300mb and it work wella but it wasn't ics and ics is wat I want ama try and search again
pls tell me
wats the difference between HD and DHD
HTC DHD = HTC Desire HD,
HTC Desire HD = HTC Desire HD
no difference
oh ok well I can't find a working link with an ics rom, anyone can maybe upload one for me or maybe bump a working link pls
Not to be funny, but have you ever flash any custom rom and got it to work on your DHD before?

Look in the Desire HD Development forums. The recent popular ones are all crowded around the top.
Blackout update
The blackout update will be well worth the wait once released,i am using the test version, and i am really impressed with the overall improvements once completed it will be a very good candidate for a stable daily driver.:good:

I would advise to take it a step further and unlock your bootloader and install CWM... then install one of the latest JB Roms (they all run great), I personally have a few JB Roms in the forum if you are interested but you can also go for CM10.1 (mustaavalkosta) and JellyTime (randomblame) or Paranoid... etc. The choice is yours...

He used to installed it but jb have reputation to drains more battery compared to stock rom. My recommendation will be either ARHD or rooted stock rom that you can find in the devs section.
