How can I take a screenshot on this phone?
Three ways: hold home and power at same time, use s pen hold button and hold on screen, or swipe Palm across screen (though I can't get this method to work).

For the palm to work you need to cover the sensor and swipe from left to right.

I have tried numerous times to use my s pen to capture images from the browser, but when i do it, it isn't drawing the circle around the image. I am pressing the button while trying to capture, but nothing.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

You're holding down the spen button the while time while you are drawing the circle correct?

Yes. I wonder if something is wrong with my s pen button, because I can't take screenshots with it either.
When i hover over the screen I see the indicator that it sees my s pen and when i press the button while hovering the "mouse" disappears, so it seems to even know that i am pressing the button.
Not sure what is up.

Could I have accidentally turned off an option to cause this?

I hate that ugly hone button but wouldn't mind jf it could be remapped to capture pic. Its perfectly placed.

Have you tried this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=850464 ?
Do we have screen shot capability with our note 2? I hope this isn't a dumb question.

Press power and home button or take your Palm and swipe across the screen.

Hold the button on the pen, touch the screen for a second or two (don't move around).
Hey guys,
As the title says, my power button is broken. I'm currently using the volume rockers and the home key to turn the screen on and off. Is there any way to remap the power button function to the other keys?
Thanks!

Well if you are rooted and on a rom with a navigation bar you can put the power button on that, long press brings up the the menu too. Also, for turning on the screen, ktoonsez kernel has swipe to wake. Slide show across the screen and the phone wakes up.

What about if my phone is dead and I'm trying to turn it on?

Remapping comes only when phone is booted up. I don't think there is a way to remap it when turned off without hardware or core firmware built in into motherboard being modified.

Why not send it someplace to have it fixed . I don't recall it being very expensive and probably is under warranty

I understand how to use quick memo to take screen shots of everything but my lock screen. Can someone explain to me how to do it? Thanks!

Volume down and the home button? When I try all I get is the quick remote thing pop up at the bottom. Is it just a matter of timing?

Should be volume down and power, not home. Just press both at roughly the same time and hold.
