No Cyanogen nor ICS either out or in development for our devices?
What ever happened to the ICS development that was supposed to turn into CM7 which never came to fruition?

op you sound ungrateful for what we do have. How much are you willing to donate to devs to make it happen soon. If more people talk with their wallet I'm sure more would be done sooner.
Anyway this is why my next and only future phones will be a nexus because I'm tired of these games.

and @ OP also here apart from having top notch devs, we have devs do not make false promises...they only prepare a working rom and then put it out...and then support it also buy putting out updates and mods to them very fast...for cm7 and ics what you are reading...promises are made and hype is created and suddenly their pc breaks, they do rm -rf and their phone breaks just our before promising to publish the rom..how convenient is that..if you like that kind of false adrenaline rush then you should follow those forums..

What happen to Sense rom for e4gt?

I thought there was someone working on sense for the e4gt, I haven't seen anyone talking about it lately is it still in progress?

Publicly not to my knowledge, There maybe someone somewhere trying.After the issue we(E4GT Community) went through regarding the sense project build I doubt it.
There some amazing T.W builds Done by Team Rejectz Venum Nocturnal and others.

I think that's the project OP was referencing. I am not familiar with the whole debacle; however, I have gathered through various comments some kind of scam took place. It's a shame (for development and the community's sake) that the project had to end as it did. I personally don't like sense anyway, but it still would've been cool to have the option.

I really don't want to relive that mess, however to sum it up briefly I doubt there will be sense after what happened happened.

ahh man thats a bummer I like the sense roms and wouldn't mind having one.

If you want sense buy an htc device.

From what I know I think the thread was closed by mods for no real thought toward the project. Its probably still open but most of the thread is chit chat.

Ever hear of a thing called search? Anyways the community donated enough to get Swamp Goblin from the NS4G community to attempt a port of Sense, he received the phone, there was very little almost zero communication about progress. He supposedly was finishing up the last semester of school, then he had work, and a girlfriend, with very little time to work on development. Everyone got upset and wanted to know what he was doing with it and if he could send the device to someone else to work on the project. He finally came back with a booting but very broken from. No one has heard from him since then.
In my opinion he got a free upgrade from the NS4G and he is using the ET4G as his daily driver now or his girlfriend got a new phone to use.
Either way the community feels scammed and currently the Sense project is dead in the water.

If it's closed its for a good reason believe me.rehashing this will leave a sour taste in people's mouths I promise.
Money was donated for a phone than once phone was purchased as you can see no Rom..

All I can say is to get off the S.G subject.... xbox said he will try to get us a booting sense 2.1 port since sense 4 is not working for many devices currently...

Pretty much this. I know it sucks, and I wish I could do more, but the fact is nothing can be done. Just learn from your (our) mistakes and keep moving forward. This is just going to leave a sour taste in everyone's mouth and until someone is ready to take on the project, I think we should leave it at that for now.

Or better yet people that beg/demand for independent volunteers that sacrifice their own time talents and interests to mod phones. Quit feeling so entitled people. Hassel the people you are paying for a contract, not the people who develops here.
The question you should have asked is "is there anything I can do to help with solving this issue?"

Our devs don't like giving us anything less then the most the can.tl They work hard todo what they love doing and it isn't the easiest thing. Its safe to say its being worked on but they can't just hunt it down and fix it .. changing something could add more bugs some worse then the previous, not to mention they have families and jobs to take care of also. Give it time and I'm sure they'll come up for a fix or work around
Being here since 07 with more then 500 posts I would think you'd know this..hopefully its some kind of mean joke:/

I think the head phone issues is the least of the issues they are worried about lol..more important things they are hammering out...it will all come in time...just be happy we have JB :thumbup:

For all those who used Aeonfluxx ROM. Arch Energy Productions will be bringing it back. with MiKhail_08's blessings of course. as you know he accepted a new job and wont have time to dev much. but he is willing to help out when he can. Venal System will be maintaining the thread for the near future. look for a tues. or wed. re-release this week. just thought someone would like to know . we are happy about it.:laugh:

This drama really could have been avoided. Still unsure why download links were removed and project was killed outright instead of handed off to someone else who wanted to maintain it. Makes no sense to me, especially having done a little dev work myself in the past.
Anyhow, happy to see it make a return.

It really wasn't that dramatic, the rules of the Dev section say that you have to provide support in your thread, and since he got a new job he wasn't able to do that anymore and had it shut down until someone else took over. Now its coming back out under new management and we can all be excited.

Seriously!!

Look I really appreciate the work all these Devs do on these roms. But why not just all get together and make 1 really solid 4.3 rom where everything works. Every rom I flash has its own perks but also every single rom has something that isnt working.

I'm sure anyone that has put in any time to make these wonderful roms for us to use will be glad to tell you you are free to not use them if you are unhappy with them. That or you know, put your money where your mouth is and actually Learn How to Program for yourself and Help to perfect some of the things here that you are so clearly unhappy with.

You sir are why devs quit sharing their work with us. You know, the work they do in their spare time after working, spending time with wife/husband/kids etc. Seriously, if you aren't happy with a rom you can fix it yourself, wait for it to be fixed or use another rom. There is no excuse to come here and act like some self-entitled jackwagon.
P.S. Jackwagon was the nicest word I could think of.

No one said "flash my rom or I kill your dog". If you don't like to be a part of a big experiment, go follow a cooking forum.
But to help you understand why a developed rom sometimes has errors:
Developers may get a leaked source and they tinker with it to get it out to us ahead of the official release. Other times they get a rom from a similar device and port it over to our phone, and it takes trial and errors to make the port work.

Check out the guy in the (ROM) Sky Note Air - 4.3 I317UCUBMK6-MJ4 Hybrid 12-25-13 thread, that told Seanz "no rush" when he was told an update was coming.
Dude was up until midnight last time busting it out and went at it again today.
Seanz missed a few things in the first release, but thank the lord, the guy is not in a hurry to get the fixes.
Helluva human being there.
And I was being a **** for pointing out he did not reading ONE fricking page back to see that Seanz was working on a fix.

Forgive my negative opinions/views.
Very bad day at work. On top of the bad day my phone borked itself first thing after I got to work after a restart. Everything started falling apart and I knew I wouldnt be able to fix it all till I got home which was barely 30 minutes ago.
As always my gratitude is extended to all the devs of this community! Ive been a happy member since 2009. And XDA has provided me with plenty of ups and downs.
