Use Google calendar in the browser. In the calendar options in the Web (not mobile) it allows you to pick different calendars with holidays for your country and other stuff like moon phases and religious holidays etc.

I flashed to the latest LJA and lunar calendar is gone!
Good thing I have a backup and restore back to LJ7.
It seems lunar calendar feature only avail on LJ7 "currently".

[Q] [APP] [REQUEST] Clock Organizer Widget from standard Touchwiz 2.0

Hello everyone.
I don't know why, but the idea of extremely handy widget is not covered yet.
I'm talking about samsung widget, "calendar clock", or "calendar organizer", I don't remember the exact name. The idea of the widget is that you see your today events on a round clock. Samsung made the idea, the widget wasn't that excellent.
I've found only one widget on the market that is very similar to this idea. It's called "Clock Organizer Weather"
BUT it's ugly!! Has no customizations, and has weather implemented, which is to my mind not quite necessary. And one more drawback is that you can't really see what's the time at the moment.
So, the question is if somebody can: pull out the samsung widget from TW 2.0 | suggest me a better widget app | develop a new one (that would be very nice indeed)
Thank you for your attention.
P.S.: Here's a screenshot of an app, if you're too lazy to click the link

I finally found it.
Maybe somebody was also searching for it, so I'll post a link.
Samsung TW Calendar Clock Widget is working in the following TW4.5 launcher.

[Q] HTC Calendar Widget - Agenda view- Nils GingerSense 3.5 ROM

I noticed this problem(?) on Nils' Sense 3.0 ROM as well as his 3.5 which I have currently installed.
I like using the HTC Calendar widget in the "Agenda" view. When I was using the OTA 2.2 update, if I had an event scheduled for, say 8:00 am, once the event was over, it would be removed from the widget so the next upcoming event could be loaded and viewed in the widget.
This functionality doesn't seem to be happening anymore on these ROMs, and instead, the events aren't removed until the day is over.
For example:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
You can see that there are 4 meetings which were over by the time I took this (enormous) screen shot, but they're still showing up in my widget.
Is this a mistake? Is this how HTC has intentionally programed it? Or is this a ROM error, or is this just my device? I'd really like for the completed events to stop showing up in my agenda.
Thanks.
I noticed that change in behavior when they went to Sense 3.0. Not sure if it is intentional.
Personally I like it that way because I am a billable security consultant and at the end of each day I go to the widget and use it to track my time. At night the day goes away and the next few days appear.

REQUEST: Samsung Tasks App

If anyone coming from the Skyrocket, there is a Tasks app that syncs with email and google tasks. It's really useful. But the SGS 3 doesn't have it. Tried to grab it off the ICS release of the Skyrocket, but it doesn't work. Probably different screen resolution. Anyone can port it over?

NICE! I didn't know it had that. I've been using an app from the market for Google Tasks. If the skyrocket's stock task app is better though, great!
How about some recommendations on an alternative app that does the same thing?
aren't tasks built-in to the samsung calendar app now?

"Edge of Night" theme
It has no widget Otherwise a decent update.
I bet we see one in the next full update.
Any update to this application? Curious if a fix was pushed with a widget included.
This thread is obsolete now. See the latest version here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2218441
They added a widget, but it's still just as goofy with simple UI bugs as the original FC09 VVM app has. (Constant black rounded background behind the app name, and the name "Voicemail" is cut off.)

There are numerous email service providers on the market, and the majority of them perform identically. However, buy gmail accounts is far superior to its rivals. Nearly 30% of Gmail’s users check their email every day, making it the most popular free email service provider. Buy Gmail accounts
