wifi is still broken, but you can still create the ROM, and then implement the change once the wifi starts working... that is why devs are putting placeholders

thats a good question. I am coming from an epic 4g and cwm is all I know how to use and seems to be the best and easiest way to customize your phone. Is there anyone working on cwm recovery for Epic 4G touch? Thanks

They are working on WiFi right now.
I am working on porting CWM, and uploading this rom.
If my rom flashes and boots fine, then I'll release it here otherwise I will wait for the WiFi fix which should be coming shortly,

Please note this has only been tested on the T-Mobile UVALH2 variant of the Galaxy S3!
Note: Make sure you clear your exchange settings before flashing any of the zips...it'll help to avoid any possible issues!

I cleared data for the Email app and flashed the new one and am getting "Email has stopped" when I try to run or add an activesync account. Has anyone else tried it?

Just resigned and uploaded....should be good now. I know the signature varies from variant to variant....

No, but in order to access the email servers....you may need the PIN. Not too familiar with the whole company exchange department....quite frankly not sure if it even matters....but the disclaimer is there just in case...

I am having the same issues with the newest file. It just says Unfortunately, Email has stopped.

OK I'm gonna have to find out what's going on. I'm gonna post the individual apks in a few. Not sure if the flashable zip is causing the FC.
EDIT: Just uploaded some alternatives....it's not a signature issue...

What build were these based off of. People here are using a bunch of different builds so if its a stock app that could be part of the problem.
Those who are having problems, try the stock one from 1st post and see if it works.

It came from the VZW variant, which also came from the Int'l i9300 variant...
Looks like I'm going to have to do a version for T-Mobile then....since the versions seems to be so different. I had no idea they'd vary so differently, since they're all running the same software. Thats what I get for owning my 1st Touchwiz device.....you learn the hard way. Always been on AOSP or HTC Sense before now lol

[Q] BlackJelly v0.7 ROM issues sgh-t999 total noob question

hi guys. im very new to this. sorry if this has been asked or addressed else where..
however, i have rooted my sgh-t999 for tmobile. and i have applied BlackJelly v0.7 ROM. i have noticed a few issues with it. or is there a better rom out there
1. i seem to have lost 4g
2. not able to send and or receive pix as before
everything else thus far seems to be working like a champ. i really like the interface. is there an update that i may need or is there another issues list somewhere?
any help would be great appreciated. thanks

Check your IMEI.. Make sure it isn't 0

If your talking about the 3g icon only showing and not 4g, that's just because it's a sprint base. You're actually getting 4g.

yes it is the icon it says 3g. but then i kept getting the anonymous sender and cant receive the pix and it is take 5-10 minutes to send a pic, where as before it was not the case.
@ Chrisram88 Check your IMEI.. Make sure it isn't 0 what is this and what should it be set to?

Menu=settings =about phone =status... Check for imei number and that it isn't 0.it should be a long number. Don't post what it is just let us know it isn't 0

You good then. Are you familiar with radios and flashing those as well? Hold up ill link you to the thread. There is a map that a member made which shows which radio works best for your location

I think its the update script causing the problems if i had to guess i looked at it and i don't think it needs to mount the partition that you have in it. I have disected alot of files and don't remember seeing this partition being mounted like this to install apps. Just a guess though I am not a professional developer so I could be wrong.

Eh I tried. Maybe it just not gonna work... Maybe some else can port it.

OK. Progress report. Found the conflicting libs causing no-boot. Removed them for now, but that will cause a fc most likely. Its probably due to hardware. I'm going to merge the lib files later but just want to test the zip without them.

Would it be possible in any way to port the GS3 camera app to the 4.12 leak and use the zip on that?
I would try myself, but i have no knowledge on deving at all.

Yes. That was one of my plans. Thus mod should work better on the leak. I'll use all my porting knowledge to get it to work.

I just flashed [CAM-MOD] ["Note 2 Camera"] 24.09. 30Mbit/192kbit/Hardkey-Vol.UP/SLOW/FAST-MOTION to my Omega 44.3 ROM an now its not getting past the boot screen.
Is there a way to undo me flashing the zip file?

You're talking about the S3 ROM while this is the S2 thread, but to fix it just reflash the Omega ROM

The interface is really nice and wonderful ! Ubuntu touch looks great on tmo! I was waiting for this port for a long time ! The touch experience is better and quiet snappy .. Thumbs UP
