PS3 and Sony mobile - HTC One X

I have two questions.
When I connect my HOX to my PS3 with a USB cable it doesn't connect when I choose phone storage. Does anyone else have this result.
Another question is regarding the Sony mobile certification for the One X. Has this been implemented in the latest update of Sense 4+ ?

Question 2: no. It will come after Sony introduce certification for other brands

the new base have already the certification inside like the HOX+ but there aren't many games..

So there's no built in app yet? I seem one for download on another thread here but you need root I think.

Certification, but not an app like in Sony phones

Has anyone ever tried connecting their HOX to a PS3 with a USB cable? For data transfer.

My HOX works fine with in mass storage with my ps3. I have been able to copy music and video files from the HOX to the ps3. When I first got my one x I was unable to do this but since the 2nd or 3rd update was released I have been able to

Xbox will not allow you to play files this way. You could use a USB stick and convert it via the xbox...
even then its complicated to get the films on there.
best way is to not use your xbox
Do you think I should us Hdmi or are there other ways of playing media through my tv ?
Can anyone recommend any apps or workarounds.
Thanks.

the problem with hooking the phone up to the TV is that it quickly catches fire, ive got both a cable and the HDMI wireless jobbie htc sell. my phones goes on fire within about 15 minutes.
How did the xvids get into your phone? If they came from your laptop or pc, why not just stream to the xbox from there?

I just watched a movie which was on my phone using the Xbox... Connect it to Xbox, press disk drive, go to movie app on Xbox and choose the portable USB option.

I did exactly the same except without the xbox, my tv has a usb port and I just browse it as if it's a flash drive. works great. played a FHD Movie from it and it even chargers so the battery doesn't run flat while reading.

Try using the XMBC app as a last resort
I use the "twonky mobile sever" app and it works through the router and shows up as a storage device on my Xbox
When I connect to Xbox it works now, weird.
Thanks for help though.

lol all you had to do was google ps3 controller for android
It's now possible to get the most authentic gaming experience possible by linking a Sony PlayStation 3 controller with your Android device. The app that enables this astonishing combination is Sixaxis Controller, available for download from the Android Market for £1.01.
Before you purchase the app and dust off your PS3 pad in preparation for some old-school gaming action, take note: your phone has to be rooted in order for this to work. If you have no idea what rooting is, we'd advise you stop reading now.
It's also worth stressing that Sixaxis Controller doesn't work with every single Android phone -- the developer has noted that some HTC and Samsung devices are incompatible, due to complexities in how they handle Bluetooth protocols.
Run a compatibility check
The developer has kindly made a compatibility check tool available for free so you can be sure your device is up to the job before spending your cash on the full app. Download Sixaxis Compatibility Checker and run the test to ascertain if you're eligible for some controller-pairing goodness.
Lol and all you had to do was read the OP properly. Sixaxis Compatibility App by Dancing Pixel needs a PC.
You know, like the one he says he doesn't wanna use?

Strange it stopped work. But some users made work using a USB HUB (powered or not). Try plug the controller at HUB and the HUB at phone.

Have you tried the Six Axis Controller app from the market? It's not free but it works wirelessly via bluetooth. Might eliminate some headaches.

Sixaxis Controller
Yes, this is possible with a Dualschock or Sixaxis 3 Controller. you will need to buy the Sixaxis Controller app from the Play Store. and the Sixaxis Pair tool on your PC.

Acro S V4L2 enabled?

Hello
I am planning to buy the Acro S soon, and I wanted to know whether the kernel on the device is V4L2 - enabled. I want to use an external webcam with the SimpleWebcam application and I also need ANT+ support so I guess I have to use the stock ROM.
This phone support ANT+.
Sent from my LT26i using xda developers-app
Yes, I know that. The actual question is whether I also can get it to show me a picture from a webcam connected to the USB OTG port. I need Video4Linux 2 support enabled in the stock kernel for that.

Dude, do you actually read my posts or are you just responding to certain keywords, like a chatbot?
I don't want a front camera, I want to connect a real webcam through USB. Like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCN6VUyUl9o
I plan to install the web camera on the seatpost of my bicycle facing rearwards. I want to grab the video from the camera and show the ANT+ data over it, thus making the phone a bike computer and a rearview mirror at the same time.

sorry i shouldn't say it that way. i mean acro s already does not have a good battery life, so i don't suggest you using two cameras + other tasks at a time while riding a bike. but the 10th post seems to have a solution for it?
