Is there anyone that moved from the S3 to the Note 2? I am interested in learning if the incremental benefits are worth the cost and the upgrade.

I have a white note 2. I sold my s3 for $500 (had alot of cases lol) and paid the full price. I switched back to my s3. My note 2 is still here i got til monday to decide what to do. I just really dont see any difference. The s3 just feels better and theres just so many companies supporting the s3 with acessories

office mate has an s3 and bummed about it after seeing my note. He loved the larger screen and longer battery life. I felt bad.
I went from S3 to Note2. No regrets here. After using the Note2 for a few days, it doesnt feel all that big anymore. I do like how the S3 felt really light though but no biggie. The bigger screen and battery life is awesome. I had got the S3 about 3months ago so I had to pay full price for Note 2 and sold S3 to my cousin. With Note2, I have no need for a tablet
The S3 (in the US) is only a mild refresh on the S2... I would rate those two phones to be about the same. The Galaxy Note II has a lot of the features that you would expect from the next generation update not an incremental one, like you said.
I am such a fan of the pen and have the 10.1 note but it is a little big to bring to meetings and carry around. I really love the 7 inch size and have the HTC View which works okay but incomparison to the Samsung spen it its really lagging. Ideally I would love a 7.7 note and wonder ids the 5" note 2 actually big enough to take meeting notes. It's anyone really using the note 2 for this?

The only thing I use the S-pen for is quick notes like lists and debit card transactions so I don't have to carry paper or the check book all day to keep it balanced. I couldn't see myself taking extensive notes on it but for jotting down quick things its nice.

I just got the Note 2 on Friday afternoon. I still have my Galaxy S3. So far, I was surprised at how light the Note 2 is. It's light compared to my S3 with its extended (4200mah) battery. I thought it would take a little while to get used to the Note 2's size, but it already feels comfortable most of the time.
S Pen features are going to take some getting used to, and the calendar write-in seems to be much less functional than I hoped. I can write on the calendar, but I only see it when in handwriting mode. Samsung's "help" also says that the events won't be synced to your Google calendar, only saved locally.
I sold my s3 for 430. Got the note 2. Hubbys giving his gs3 to his daughter and getting the note 2 when they come out at best buy.
The Note 2 is an Amazing Gadget and quad core fasssst !!
I got the Sprint S3 for the past 2 months and I love everything about it !! but I had to buy the Note 2 since I was very curious and after using it for 5 days now I really think that the Galaxy Note 2 is much more smooth and responsive than the S3, especially when playing games. I never felt like these phones were made for those high graphic games but, after playing on my Note 2 I am a happy customer. but still, I miss having the S3 since the Note size is a bit bigger and not as easy to hold in your hand as the S3. I have another week to decide if I want to keep it or not but I will probably end up selling my S3 on eBay and rooting this bad boy !!!

+1 Added a line to my Sprint account to get the GN2. Now my account has a credit of $123. Couldn't tell you how that happened.

I also had the gs3 and just recently got the note2 on saturday morning. So far everything is good. My hands are skinny so i used to hold the gs3 with both hands to type aince my fingers are long it was not very confortable to type but its was not terribly bad. With the note2 now having both hands to type makes more sense and also its feels gooda typing...still trying to get use to the screen size. As far as using the s pen for notes, i havent use it much yet but i can see this will become useful for short notes but not lengthy notes tho.
No regrets here for trading the gs3

went from S3 to N2 and love it, definitely more powerful, and I am a big video watcher so the screen upgrade was more than worth it, I LOVE THIS THING!
On the verge of switching from S3...but
I really want to make the switch to the note 2 but the lack of SVDO (simultaneous voice and 3G data) on the Note 2 is a downgrade. I never thought it was a capability that mattered until I got used to it. Using my GPS in the car while on a call or accessing the web or email while on a call is a nice convenience...People on GSM (AT&T and T-mobile) don't have this issue.
I really want to make the switch....Other concerns are tether and roam control but those should get worked out over time.
Again, I came from S3 and I enjoy this thing.
play "Draw Something". When you can actually draw precision art with note 2 stylus when the person you're playing with is drawing doodles, you'll know why you bought this phone.
On a serious note, screen size, battery life yes all those, but what's impressive is that this thing benchmarks higher than almost any other devices out there. 6000 on quadrant with stock rom.

I thought that with LTE you can do voice and data simultaneously.
Anyways, I'm liking the N2 but miss all the ROMs that the S3 had (like Paranoid Android).

I believe that is the case regarding LTE but don't hold your breath with Sprint getting a decent level of LTE coverage. I am in Atlanta where we have had coverage for several months. I have found the LTE to be spotty and unreliable. There are many times when I will be on 4G and will have high download speeds but 0 upstream. The automatic switching can be pretty dicey. Sprint's 3G is nothing to brag about but the coverage is obviously a lot better than their LTE. Hopefully LTE will get better soon.
Actually, if I knew that roam control was working on the Note 2 I would be more likely to make the switch. It has been a life saver in dealing with situations where Sprint has their roaming algorithm ridiculously rigged to not roam when there is virtually no signal. Yesterday, I was at an appointment for an hour where I was showing zero bars (signal was below -105dB). The phone was heating up and my battery was dying. I forced to roam and had full bars. I don't use this frequently but it has been invaluable in dealing with Sprint's poor coverage on occasion.
I might end up picking up the Note 2 and keeping the GS3 just in case.

I've noticed that on mine as well. Damn shame that with 4 cores this phone doesn't do that. Still awesome though. Will be better if we ever get 4G in Orlando.

I am up for an upgrade tomorrow and I have been tortured with the choice between the S3 and the N2. Currently I have an Epic 4G running the bleeding edge of CM10 nighties.
Here is my dilemma. I remember the days of the Epic not having CM or AOSP support. it was not a fine time bouncing from ROM to ROM trying to avoid the random reboots while keeping the feature I wanted (WiFi tether, new OS, battery life, etc.). Samsung constantly struggling with the fact they had 5 or 6 similar but very different phones to update. Phones that were impaired by low memory and light processors
But the world has changed slightly. Samsung now has 1-2 flagship phones, still different but only in small ways which (should*) make updating them easier. I believe that updates will be better, not great, but better.
The S3 in my mind is limited by a smaller processor and less RAM then the GN2, but I'm not sure without the sources and docs if that matters at all. I thoink that samsung will eventually give the Devs everything they want but not till the S4 is out and I'm not sure how many of them will want to touch the GN2 at that point.
My hands are huge and the size of the GN2 is ideal for me, but then again the S3 is right there also.
Battery life the GN2 wins hands down, from what i have read.
S-PEN I don't know if I would ever use it, to me its much like the physical keyboard. Great to have but not necessary.
Any other insights that you could offer to help my decision making would be appreciated.
the pen isn't just a writing utensil... games are much easier with it (think fruit ninja), the hovering feature works like a mouse (such as in drop down menus that used to just think you clicked on then)
the size also matters. the day 1 of your friends/co-workers gets one an shows it to you will be the first day you start regretting the s3 for the rest of your life (I got mine and now everyone at work thinks their phone is tiny)
they will release the source eventually. sammy isn't known for disliking devs, that'd be verizon. samsung had even been known to hand free phones to the cyanogenmod team and saying "here, get to work"
I have 3 co-workers with the s3 and they all hate it now that they took a 5 minute look at my phone.
and your wrong about the timeframe for our source. the s2 got it as soon as the first update came out...

I have held a N2, but I don't know why folks would want a S3 if they could hold/pocket a N2 as well. Its a faster CPU, bigger screen, more battery plus a nifty tool to use as well.
I am still getting used to my GN2,but as soon as I showed people at work, they went called their carrier on released date for one. They ARE getting one. The more I use it, the more I love it. I came from an Epic 4g and I am amazed at this thing. I loaded the Nook app and sideloaded my books. I no longer use my tablet...lol...
Its like a small paperback book in my hand. I love the emails, note taking, screen, games, etc...etc...etc...I "almost" got the GSIII, but decided to wait for this.
Things I cannot do with this phone, I bike ride to work and it doesn't fit in my stem bag (E4G did). I do not keep it in my vest pocket (rear) since I am afraid of it slipping out. I now stuff it into my bag when I ride and throw my BT headset around my neck. I use my bt headset A LOT more which is fine.
Whenever anyone see it though, they fall in love..lol..I really do like it and am putting it to the test next month when I travel and leave my laptop and tablet at home.
I had the GS3 and while I loved the phone I got rid of it for the GN2. IF you need CM9 or CM10 you may want to go with the GS3 as it may not come to the GN2 due to the processor and source code. The two phones are fairly similar. My GS3 had sucky battery life and I had to use an extended battery with it and run longevity battery saver. I do not need an extended battery with the GN2, It lasts a long time, just as long as my extended battery probably. I love this thing! I only use my s pen to play draw something with.
I own both and after using the Note II for one day the GS III seems small to me...
The GS III is one BAD A$$ phone, don't get me wrong but the Note II kills it in every way!!!

The sgs3 is not much of an upgrade from the Epic Touch... More like a very minor refresh. If they kept the quad core in the S3 you'd have a question worth asking.

Oh come on...
Better, faster CPU (architecture, etc)
Higher res screen - 1280x720 (vs 800x480)
Double the memory
Bigger battery
LTE (vs WiMax, debatable)
etc...

Battery life alone makes this phone superior to the S3. Plus, the S3 isn't running on the Exynos Quad chip at 1.6 ghz
I find the pen incredible useful, but you might not. If you can deal with the size like you said, GET THE NOTE. The bigger the better, right?
Oh, and multi-view is awesome!!!
I came from the gs3. They feel pretty much a like, except for the pen, extra screen space, and battery. But I finally feel like I have a phone I could actually make it through a 2 year contract with.

The SG3 is a awesome phone and it runs much like the way ours does, only it does it with a smaller battery. You will notice the difference in battery life on day 1. The SG3 person can make any mods/changes they want to and the SGN2 will most likely out due them on a day 1 running completely stock with screen on auto.
Don't even get me started on the screen size.
I think the only thing you'll miss about the S3 is that the N2 lacks SVDO and is a little behind in development like no CM10 for Sprint yet).
The pen comes in handy to put a personal touch on photos.
Personally, I don't miss my S3 since I don't place many phone calls. I am happy with my N2 (could be happier with CM10 and Paranoid Android).
First thanks everyone for your inputs and second I'm due for my upgrade in January the first to be exact and I was told that sprint would allow you to buy out your contract to allow you for an early upgrade. Is this true?

Usually I get tired of my phone in less than a year and am wanting something else. While it remains to be seen with the Note 2, I can say, I feel as tho I have a phone that has the speed and features that can hold me over till my next upgrade. Plus I love the battery life on this thing.

So all of you that went from S3 to N2, have had no problem adjusting to the size difference? My wife has an S3, and we went to BB to compare it to the N2. The N2 is huge.....I didn't think it would be such a big difference from the S3, but it is.....Even my wife doesn't think she can get over the size difference. I would much rather have the N2, since I think it would keep me future proof for 2 years, but it is rather large...the S3 should be kind of future proof too, but I keep going back and forth.
I am sure the size discussion has been beaten to death on this forum, but I just want some fresh perspectives.

I went from S3 to N2. S3 feels so small now lol. The N2 did feel pretty big at first but after using it for a week or so, it doesnt feel all that big now and feels pretty normal. No regrets here, best phone there is IMO. I even take it to the gym and put it in pocket of my bball shorts (taking out for certain excercises of course). Just do it

I think many of us said the same thing, when seeing it on someone else. I know I did. I just wasn't sure the size would work for me(especially since I have smaller hands). But after having it only since Thursday, I can say I don't regret getting it one bit. I am used to the size and would have a hard time going back to something smaller.
As other have said, I think I found a phone that I could be happy with for my entire 2 year contract and not just the first 10-12 months.
man I wish I would've been able to have the transition from galaxy s 3 to note 2 like some of you lucky guys. or even the galaxy s 2 to note 2. I just moved from the galaxy s epic 4g after two+ years. yeah I came from a 4 inch screen to 5.5 inch. the adjustment was huge. but overall I am loving this phone. It was kind of a bummer finding out this phone had no svdo. I would've liked to try it out. but who cares? anywhere I go I have wifi; home, work, friends, restaurants, etc. get this phone, it is totally worth it. the only thing I like the spen for is using the stock browser. makes it a hell of a lot easier when opening sub menus like on ebay or scrolling down craigslist.
You really do get used to the size. Came from an iPhone 4 so I went from 3.5 to 5.5. After three weeks I don't feel the N2 is too large at all.

The Note 2 is a beast. Yea they're very similar but using both, I can definitely feel the quad core performance advantage on the Note 2. Side by side I could also tell a distinct difference in the brightness and saturation of the screen. And probably the biggest difference is the battery. You can literally go days on one charge with heavy use. The GS3, not so much. If you're into phablets, def go with the Note 2.
I had Note 2 to play around with for a couple of weeks and I've owned SGS3 since July. I thought the Note 2 was solid but it was just too darn big for my liking. That was pretty much the only issue I had with the Note 2. I love how big the Note 2 screen is and all but I hated walking around with it in my pants pocket.

These two posts hit my experience with the Note 2 right on the head.
Like X_Fact0r, I've had the S3 since July. I decided to give the Note 2 a try and while it's a GREAT phone, I just couldn't get past the size. If someone has already had the S3, it feels like the Note 2 is just a S3 on steroids. For me, it wasn't worth the nearly $700 off-contract price to feel like I was just getting a bigger screen and I returned it. I also didn't think I'd use the S-Pen very much, although if I'd kept it for good, I may have found that it was really useful.
Add to that how good the development is for the S3, and I just decided to stick with it. But I'm not bashing the Note 2 at all. It worked flawlessly and if you don't mind having a small tablet in your pocket, it's a great choice. But I LOVE my S3, so I stuck with it.
Very interesting to see how the S3 people feel about this as opposed to the Note II users.
Mainly it looks like it's just a size issue here. And for the Note II guys, they thought the same until they put it to good use; multi-tasking and such.
I'd like to hear from more people.. For the sake of knowing.
& thanks OP for posting over here as well.
I played with one at best buy and it honestly I say gs3. Not to get all Apple but it was difficult to use one handed which is nice about the gs3 is that it is perfect size just pushing the boundaries of comfort. Also the price tag IMO is inexcusable. The note II might be a better phone but with the gs3 I feel you are getting your monies worth for what we pay. The note II did seem more durable than the sgs3 issue solved with a d30 case though

To me the Note 2 is a better phone. Size, pen, battery life and quad core are awesome!
For the money an S3 for 99 is a great deal. For instance if a Note 2 user would offer me their Note 2 if I gave them my S3 and $200 I would keep the S3.
Pretty much that is why I still have the S3 today

That's exactly what it was for me. I'd gotten into the "bigger is better" mentality, but I found it was just too big for my tastes.
The odd thing, and this was just my experience, was that I expected with the quad core hype it would be the smoothest phone I could find. I actually ended up having some unexpected lag. This was just with the stock launcher, but it was still there. It must have just been an aberration, though.
My S3 is smooth as silk.
I'll take the s3 over n2 any day.
I have the GS III, my wife has the Note II. For me the size of the GS III is perfect, just on that edge of being too big. The note 2 however is just too big for my tastes, but then again my wife drops hers in her purse, so carrying it is not an issue. If I want a bigger screen I bust out my transformer tablet, or even worse my toshiba laptop.
But I do like both devices for what they are and what they are capable of doing. Now if your a BIT of an artist always looking for a canvas, then the note 2 is more for you. Just not for me. I love my GS III, that is until the next shiny thing that comes along...oh look a penny....
I have both, S3 from July and Note 2 from Nov. I like note 2 better.
I played with the note recently and I honestly don't think I could get over the size of that thing. I put it to my ear and it was like I literally had a book to my ear.

I never turn anything off! I have wifi, BT, NFC, all motion, all samsung, no power saving, basically zero concern for battery draw and after 18 hours of constant use... I end my days with around 20% battery remaining! The GS3 is nothing close. Plus the raw power and freakish speed of the GN2 is unreal! I can scroll any list no matter the length at maximum speed and never induce even one shutter... wicked fast! So yeah... I'm sticking with the Note2.
I have a s3, 2 note 2s. s3 is a better bang for your buck but note 2 destroy s3 in
Everything IMO..

So I am trying to decide what to get. The note 2 or the galaxy s3. I do not mind the size, so that is not issue. If any of you came from the s3, why did you jump ship? What makes you stick to the note 2 and not go to the s3. Any ideas why the note 2 is better? Can you see a difference in smoothness from the note 2 compared to the s3. Since the note 2 has the quad core.
Gave mom S3 and bought N2 day one, S3 is the 2nd best phone out by the note does so much. I have a business and coach and it's size makes doing those things easy. Definitely see a speed difference, better screen. U can get us to the size I'm thinking of going bigger. Again get the N2 it will amaze u.

I used S3 for couple months, until I hold Note2 at my local mall, they have Samsung expo or w/e, and after comparing the size, I decided that I can go bigger, and I fell in love with Note2 screen. After switch to Note2, definitely no regrets, smoother, faster, bigger screen.
I love my Note II. Granted, I didn't come from an S3. But even still, if you don't mind the size of the phone then by all means go for it.
It is basicly a SIII but its newer, it has a better screen despite its dpi being lower because its not pentile, if you are on T-Mobile the Note has 42mbps HSPA+ instead of 21mbps, quadcore, bigger battery, and of cource the s pen.
Like I said, if you can deal with the size, which you will get used to unless your hands are just really small, its a much better choice. But in the end you can't go wrong with either one of them.
I had samsung galaxy s3 and got the iphone 5. A month later, got the note 2. Never looked back ever since. Iphone feels slower. Like ten times slower than my note 2.

I came from the MT4GS. When I upgraded I also bought my wife the S3. I do prefer the GN2 but find that the S3 is perfectly capable.
The gn2 is a tad smoother and the screen is obviously bigger. The s-pen makes the comparison a non starter, the note taking fcn is unparalleled.
The gn2 does make one hand use very problematic due to size. I am also paranoid about screen breakage due to dropping the device (this phone has stated to develop a rep for breaking screens). The camera is pretty darned good (though the MT4GS camera was arguably better). Viewing video content or games simply cannot be beat. The screen is beautiful. Let me say it again, the screen is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. Did I mention I kinda like the screen. Oh, what is this lag thing that people on other devices keep talking about?
I hate the usb connection between the stock charging cord and the device, falls out with a stern look. My TPU case also puts a bind on the connector but that is my problem.
I don't know that it's $300 better than the S3 (price difference) at the time. I didn't pay that difference (it was about $100 with the deal I worked out). I certainly will not be getting rid of this device any time soon.
Hastily spouted for your befuddlement
Came from an S3. And would never go back. Smoothness is way better and the screen is the perfect size. Seems big at first but after a couple of days you totally get used to it. Quad core and 2GB ram, and the Spen is pretty handy. Since I paid 350$ for the note 2 and sold my S3 for 350$ it was a no brainer.

Sold my s3 for my note 2 with no regrets. Its an awesome phone for sure but I couldn't pass go the big screen and spen.

Note 2 is the way of bigger Doesn't bother you. I sold my s3 and bought it outright. Well worth it, where you root it or not. Fast and smooth.

They are both beasts. The difference is the Galaxy SIII is the flagship, while the N2 is more of a niche item. Meaning the GS3 will always have more accessories and development. Both have 42+ HSPA capability, but the Note 2 has the true image and internals Samsung dreamed of. It is my 1st exynos device and I couldn't be happier.
I came from S3 for a very specific reason: GN2 has "hidden" full Trad Chinese interface as well as native Changjei and hand writing methods with Swype. Frankly, battery on GN2 is definitely better than S3. According to my usage scheme:
S3 lasts 3-4 hours before switching battery
GN2 lasts almost 6 hours.
Larger screen makes reading e-books easier while it still can occupy shirt pocket (Galaxy Tab Plus can't).
I'm currently with Sprint using an Evo 4G LTE. It's nice, but I'm getting the "is the grass greener on the other side" feeling. The Note II is still a powerhouse under today's standards. I use my phone a lot and I think going from a dual core/1gb device to a quad-core 2gb device would really ease my problems. However, I have some reserves being that the Note 3 is right around the corner. But seeing that Note 2's are hovering around $350 on the low end, I figure I'd only be out $150ish rather than when the Note 3 drops later this year, my contract isn't up until February and if Sprint doesn't let me upgrade early and have to pay a fee, I'd probably fork up over $400ish. Plus I'd have to sign a new contract and I'm having doubts LTE will show up in our area any time soon which means I might switch carriers down the road depending on my situation.
I don't mind flashing, but figure I'd ask the Note II community your thoughts since you guys (and gals) have the experience.

Cons? Lol. Maybe for people with small jazz hands. But for most people it takes a few days to get used to the size. Week tops.

I waited to update my 2 OG epic 4g's for 2 note 2's. & while I'm glad I did, I would recommend for you however to wait on pulling the trigger on this just yet. Since the GN3 is right around the corner & I would guess it's going to be the first 8 core phone in the US, it'll have the flexOLED, big ass GPU, 3gigs of ram, this is the droid we've all been looking for...
:victory:

Unless you're really having issues with the phone or something, I would just wait if you can. One thing that recently has shown us, there will always be something newer and better around the corner. Thus, I'm a big proponent of does the device fit my needs philosophy. The subsidy is build into all out phone service plans, so when you're contract is up, that's the best time to consider a new device.
As for the GN3, I haven't totally kept up on it, since my contract isn't up till 2014. But It's not going to have 8-core CPU like we think of with PCs. It's going to be two quad-core chips, which is will only use the second quad-cores when needed to give better battery life. I think the flex screen is still more rumor at this point.
If you wait, the GN3 will have been out for a months, so it'll will have been rooted by the point. You may have a better idea when LTE will come into your area.
Personally, I like the GN2. The screen size is a big plus for me. It's nice not to have to constantly zoom. I find all touch virtual keyboards suck. It has good performance for the apps that are out there. Some apps are quirks and some you have to side load for various reasons. I don't find the size an issue and only took a few days to get use to. Yes, it's not as portable as your previous phone, but it's not by much really.
Ultimately, given the costs you discussed, I don't know if I would make the switch at this point, especially if you're considering switching carriers. Sounds to me you need to research more on your available carriers to see what will fits your needs the best and costs. Considering now that there are next to no carrier exclusive phones, phones are becoming secondary.

Hey man, I'm 5'6"-5'7" (depending on the convenience store I'm walking out of) and my hands are the same size as yours. They're not small but not large either. Most things are fine with the GN2 but sometimes lefty has to make an appearance. Best phone I've ever had though.
I would hold out a few more months and get the Note 3
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
If your going for off contract and can snag a Note 2 for around 300$ - 350$ then I would go for the Note 2. Few months later when the 3s drop you can sale your note 2 for a couple bills and upgrade then if you want.
As far as size. It took me a day to get used to it and now other phones feel to small.

It's a great phone if you get a great deal for it. And with 4.3 around the corner it will be an even better phone.

Ummm. No one knows if and or when Note2 will ever get 4.3
If it does, it won't be until months after 4.3 is officially released for the Nexus... Probably not until after Note3 is paper released.

I came from the Evo LTE myself(still have 2 Evo LTE I need to put on ebay, 1 black that I pre-ordered and 1 white I bought at retail price when it was released). I had the Evo 3D(still have, also need to put on ebay) and the OG Evo too. I've bought nothing but HTC for about 6-7 years, even back to the WinMo days. Last Samsung I owned was the i760(crap, lol). I'm very happy with the Note 2, though I didn't have any issues with the Evo LTE, just wanted the Note 2. I can upgrade on January 1st 2014. The Note 3 should release around that time, if sooner and I can't wait then I guess I'll pay retail for it too. I love the Note 2, but you just have to decide for yourself and consider your finances. If you can afford a Note 2 an then upgrade to the Note 3 when it's released, then go for it, you'll love it!!!

I say stick it out with the Evo LTE. I'm currently stuck with my sisters Evo after my niece broke my screen on my Note. Although the Note 2 is a quad I feel the dualcore on this is a bit more responsive. You can even notice the difference when comparing the Note 2 to the GS3 which has the same chip. Touchwiz is a bit smoother on the S3. Wait for the Note 3, that'll be the one to upgrade to.
Edit: I'm actually impressed with this phone. Battery life is decent and it puts up a fight without it even being rooted. I do miss my massive screen though

No doubt! As much as I love my Note 2, I gotta admit the my Evo LTE was quicker at somethings, though the Note 2 is quicker at others. Honestly, they're both awesome phones!!

Well it's nice to see you agree for a change. I've always gave unbiased opinions when it comes to phones and back in the 3D forums (I think) you and the rest would just call me a Samsuck fanboy and to burn ?
Glad you're not blinded by HTC fanboyism anymore. All brands have their pluses ?

Lol. I was definitely in the Evo 3D forums as I jumped from the OG Evo 4G and bought the 3D when it was released, but I've never called anyone a "Samsuck fanboy". Hahaha, funny name but not my line so I can't take credit for it.
Anyway, good to cross paths of other members on different devices later down the road! Which phone did you come to the Note 2 from? I pre-ordered the Evo LTE, so that was my phone between the Evo 3D and the Note 2. Take care man

Lol might not have been your line but you were def a part of it. I remember the sn I came from an S2 to the Note. But I've had all the Evo devices and most of the galaxy's. Evo 4G>GS1>Evo3D>GS2>Note 2>Evo LTE (temp). That's my android history
