Has anyone used the imei back up and was able to restore it without a problem?

can you make app that can change imei number because my imei lost and i will buy it

I have had the free version for awhile and like it. So, I decided today to purchase the full version. Well....
I was running the user app backup and my phone rebooted during the process. When it rebooted, I tried to run the process again and during the scanning of my I stalled apps I an getting a java error.
I have removed both apps and reinstalled the pro version and still the same error. Is there a log I can pull to help fix this error?

Just one question, what is the version of the kernel in this new version? Because Kernel v3.3.0 is now on download page but in change logs of Overcome v3.0.1 JUPITER in the second post it says: Overcome Kernel v3.2.0 Included.

I'm assuming you're referring to the "disappearing" recovery...basically the way Voodoo works, since its designed to support a broad range of devices, is it runs a script to identify exactly which device its running on. This script dumps the partition table from the /dev/block/mmcblk0 and compares it to a list of known dumps. From then, it decides how to set up the file system. If it fails to find a match, it just exits out and goes to samsung init. As a result, you will either 1) boot into the ROM with the RFS file system or 2) boot into stock recovery, because that's what the stock init does.
What I've done is just remove the detection part and hard code it to a particular file system structure. The issue should definitely be resolved now.

I just tried a factory reset and it crashed. I just now got done going through the whole procedure again. I did a factory reset under privacy in the settings. Should I be doing a factory reset from within clockwork recovery?
I actually just got it working! Thanks again for the rom!

Look, theming is really personal preference. Its impossible for us to satisfy everyone's taste. The team thinks that black notification bar rocks so that's that. If you wanna change it to white, you either..
1. Apply stock theme patch
2. Learn how to theme and change it to white yourself

Thanks Alterbridge and Team.
Just installed JUPITER (no wipe) over ICARUS and everthing seems to be working A-1. Love the new boot screen and the ROM is very fast and very smooth!
Just for those that may encounter the same issue:
Had a little anomaly the first time I flashed. All seem to go as it should and everything worked as it should, however, under 'SETTINGS' > 'ABOUT DEVICE', it said that the kernel was 3.3.0 (#79), but the build number was still 3.0.0- Icarus (Also, on initial boot up the boot screen was still the old Icarus screen). So, I repeated the no wipe flash procedure and everything is now working as it should. Correct kernel and build number in settings.
Thus far everything is working A-1 on this super fast and smooth ROM.
Many thanks again to Alterbridge and the Team.

Performance is very similar to the previous release - this is mostly just bug fixes and such.
can i just flash this thru cwm? or restock is essential?

Thanks again for an other update of your perfect work!!!!
Looks like the website is down for now. But my biggest question is does this fix the issue with large apps in the market? That one was pain in the but. other than that look forward to how this one runs.
Thanks alot AB a long wait really Btw your web database error cnt download...

Please be patient as they are probably uploading/updating posts.
It is really nice to see you guys still maintaining your release, specially this one
Reverted lowmemkiller change which may have been blocking kswapd0 from sleeping, resulting in battery leakage.
Website is back up - sorry about that!
Finally It's UP,i am now downloading
Please please PLEASE tell me that the damn media scanning on every reboot is gone
Gonna try it after charging my tab a bit...

[KERNEL][JB] light Kernel (3.0.41)(v1.0) *Minimalist kernel*

This kernel is aimed for battery life and simplicity. No fancy patches added. compiled with better configurations.
What is in tiny Kernel?
- latest Google sources, updated to Linux 3.0.41.
- kernel log buffer lowered to 4KB.
- automatic process group scheduling enabled.
- AIO support enabled.
- NOOP I/O scheduler as default.
- Kernel messages log limited for errors only.
- disabled most debugging and additional data in kernel
- disabled GPU assertions and debugging
- disabled logging "time in state"
- some unused stuff compiled as modules
- cache partition remount script for better performance.
- compiled with GCC 4.6.x
No O/C or U/V patches added.
NOTE: This is only a zImage, I highly recommend you flash a kernel with a proper ramdisk (like Franco's) before flashing this. If you didn't have it already.
I've been testing it on my phone for about a month now. Everything should work perfectly.
If you had any issue please tell me ASAP, this is the first public release of the kernel.

One more Kernel for GNex...sweet! Since you mentioned having used this since a month or so....how is the UI smoothness?? any shuttering while scrolling thru the homescreens? app drawer screen?? settings menu???
All the best!!
So I assume this has nothing to do with the other Tiny Kernel over on rootz?

I won't release if it wasn't smooth and stable.

[KERNEL] [LG ROMS ONLY] [D802 Only] StockMOD Kernel v3.00 [3rd Dec 13]

StockMOD Kernel for D802 international phones
Suitable for Official LG and LG-based roms ONLY
Only for D802 International models
Features:
- ExFAT support for USB OTG / Card readers with large drives
- CIFS network share mounting supported
- Voltage control support (no built in UV, but configurable via apps like SetCPU)
- Optimised kernel libraries
- MSM SoC + Kernel "always-on" logging and debugging disabled to save CPU cycles
- Simple GPU governor
- Ondemand governor tweaked for lower latency speed shift changes
- Internal kernel function fixes (ie, memory leaks, scheduler fixes)
- SIO scheduler (default, noop, cfq and ROW are available)
- high performance, low latency kernel
- compiled with Os flags and neon-vfpv4 FPU enabled
- Westwood+ TCP congestion control
- Built from official LG v10a kernel source
- Lokified during flash
Installation:
- Download .zip and copy to phone
- Reboot to recovery
- Recommended to take full system backup, including EFS partition
- Flash .zip
- Reboot
- 1st reboot may take a little longer than usual
Please do not:
Do not ask for other models to be supported, at this time is D802 only. Other models may follow in the future
Do not ask for extra features. This is to be a stock-compatible replacement kernel only. If LG didn't add it, I probably wont either.
Do not ask for support of other roms, such as CM / AOSP. Im a LG based rom user, if you want a kernel for another type of rom either use one of the available ones we already have or learn to compile your own.

Hi,
Weird, no issue here. You are the first
Maybe a bad download?
EDIT: you are on LG based rom, right?
Agreed. Flashed on Rayglobe 2.6 about 2 hours ago and have been running fine since.

I also have Bootloop after installing kernel.
installed on the : [ROM][Stock][LG-G2 D802 international] StockMOD rom, Fast, Fluid, Lagfree - v1.06
I am on g.lewarne's rom. First boot went fine. Got bootloop on reboot.

Are you guys running any "set xxx parameter on reboot" type of apps ?
I've been flashing these kernels, as have my esters for nearly a week and have not had any issues with them. The only thing I can think is you have an app which is trying to do something on boot up....
My phone was stock fresh, full wiped, installed my rom, then all the test kernels and 0 issues

I just tested, no bootloop after reboot...
You have not flash something else (a tweak or a mod) or modifying something? Undervolt (too much and set on boot)?
I don't know, maybe wait g.lewarne...

im starting to wonder if there are some subtle phone hardware variations that we are not aware of... ? (and im not talking 16/32gb since kernel is the same according to LGs sources)
either that or its is some app installed trying to do something funky....
@ g.lewarne, exept the CPU binning, I don't know

IKR
I mean, in Wootevers kernel thread there have been similar reports of sporadic non-compatability and although our kernels are quite different, the basic hardware controlling bits are the same. Even if the SoC had different variations, why would the stock LG kernel work for everyone when one built from their own source wont ?
Its either an app, or the sources LG share are not the "real" ones they use, which I have some suspicions about for other reasons
