If you want to add to the list, you need to edit apns-conf.xml in /system/etc.

Thanks mate

You need to get into the deal yourself all by yourself to be more familiar with what's going on inside the Rom itself!
Then when you hit a serious roadblock then call on us for the help that you need!
We can't do it for you!

+2... its how you learn... just keep reading...its all in here dude...
it will really depend on what you want to do. I do a lot of modifications to get my own personal theme where it is. I dont mind helping some though i am by far no expert.
The way i learned was simply by getting one of the many theme programs that make it easy to decompile and recompile your .apk (i use a little program called "Android Theming and Tweaking v2" its an oldie but wors well so far for me another option is themePRO)
once you have that just start decompiling your framework-res.apk and if you are working with a sense rom your com-htc-resources.apk once in there you can look through. you can do a LOT by simply replacing the .png files located in drawable/drawable-hdpi with the .png files you want to use. I recommend holding off on .9.png files until you read up on them and how to edit them correctly. I would really start there. additionally you may search for the super circle battery mod post which gives instructions on how to implement the battery icon that changes every 1% as well as the notification toggle post to get the cool toggle in your notification bar. it also walks you through how to add it. Both are relatively straight forward once you get the hang of things.

was wondering where that went
Wherever it went, glad it stayed away from this rom. At least with CM9 you have an option to disable it.
:good::good::good::good::good:crt flashable zip would be cool to have for the people that like it.:good::good::good::good::good::good::good:

Sorry just saw your response, now if you put as much energy into to searching for a tutorial as you put into responding to me the kid you may of found your answer. Hopefully you already have. I have not been on a rom without it in a while but find a good compile recompile program for ICS and the line of text in framework-res.apk is the same as GB.

If you had listened to him, and actually "tried" to search for a tut, you would have found one for ICS. I found one sometime ago (don't have link so don't ask) so I will try to make a zip or at least upload the file needed, I'm not home at the moment but if I get it accomplished I will most likely post in the DEV section.

i actually did, looked everywhere i know, and nothing. but thanks in advance for your help.
Ok, so I got home and read through the tut again, but I am having trouble on my computer, so I will post link here if anyone is willing to give this a go try, word of advice this is for a different device (att's SGS2) so DONT install any of the files that are there just follow the instructions to edit the framework. If by any chance I get my comp working once again I will attempt this.

Up-to-date ROM list

Hi,
In case it helps, I have an up-to-date Galaxy Note 2 ROM list kept here, which includes the Sprint model.
Someone was asking for a list in the AT&T section, so I thought I'd post this info in each section to tell people.
It's kind of a hobby, but it's kept up-to-date pretty much every day.
Some of you might find it useful.
I had been looking for this being sometimes ROMS you never know about get flooded out. This is CLEAN
Was wondering if u could add the dates they were released. I seen Clean Rom & was about to jump in then realized its no longer supported. Gonna try that JB 12 release I didnt realize was updated from 11.damn
No biggie if u cant put date,u did alot already. Just a suggestion
Good lookning out either way!!
Cool. Yea a date would be nice...

Adding a date is a good idea. It's a little cramped for space, depending on the length of the rom name. That's why I use the red dot which shows that the rom has been updated or modified in the last 7 days.
The list is checked and updated every day. The red dot, might be a couple of days out from time to time.
Thx great

Thanks. I appreciate it.
Hi,
It came to my attention that I'd forgotten to add a few roms from the `Original Android Development' sections for the different carriers.

Amazing work
My headphones jack isn't working in this ROM.
Any idea what to do or how I can fix that.?
Besides that I would get a black screen during calls but that fixed itself with some reboots.
Any hiccups within the rom there is an app to replace it in the market.
Great work again thank you so much!

Well generally the chinese firmware doesn't support our SMS it doesnt work on my model either; I don't know much about ColorOS.
You must enter SuperSU and have ti ignore CMs native root settings in options for root I did find

Well look at the op. Not too much information about the ROM. What do you expect from this guy really. Thanks for the port but really a little more effort goes a long way. I tried the rom and I can't get gapps to install properly and I really dislike the keyboard that it comes with. The ROM is nice with a lot of customization. I just wish half of the text wasn't in Chinese.

[Request] Port of the "X-Note" ROM built for the international NOTE4

I wanted to request any of the developers for our phone to port over a ROM made by soloilmeglio for the international variant of Note 4. The ROM is called X-Note and can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/rom-x-note-build-1-0-nj4-t2935625.
The developer (soloilmeglio) seems to be well regarded and it looks like the ROM has been crammed with a ton of features. It would be nice if we could get it for our phone also.
You are probably better off contacting the developer and working with him to test and see if he would port it over. Good luck, looks like a great rom.

Yea I suppose if nobody steps up I'll take a shot at it myself. I'm not a developer but I did some research online and various guides teach that you need to replace about 3 folders in the system directory to port a ROM.
I was just hoping that one of the devs would at least acknowledge this thread and take my request into consideration....

To op if it the same principal as the note 2 which it probably is the international version is pretty hard to port att is the easiest.I'm still debating on the note or nexus 6 if I get the note I will help out some.

Just wanted to update you that i am working on this. I have it booting and everything is working with a couple of workarounds. I'm actually not going to post it yet. I spoke to the developer and we are going to bring it to sprint hopefully next week. If it doesn't happen I will post what I have so far. Profile and prl update don't work. LTE and data work but you have to bring APN from old ROM. Was never able to send MMS, not sure about receiving.

If all you want right now is the Sprint system update then I can do that as long as you have the original dev's permission to port and post it in our Sprint forum. If you already have data working then upload it to AFH or similar an PM me a link. But if im not mistaken, international phones lack a lot (if not all) of the necessary code/files necessary that reside in settings, jars & framework. Ill know right away if i peek inside just one file. If it lacks the necessary code/files then you might as well forget it because it would be like spending $3,000 to replace the transmission in your $500 Hyundai. Not worth it in that case.
I had the port working but data wasn't great. Only had 3g in certain places. APN wouldn't stick if you select LTE. I think it had to do with the profile not updating, so that might fix data. I'm actually getting a new phone this week because of a major lag issue so I stopped working on it. I spoke to the developer. He said he would help but has been unresponsive this week. I can wait till you release your next rim. You did a good job on the stock ROM. I wish I didn't have a hardware issue.
