As you have seen aokp ics haven't been updated for a for long, when I started working jb I decided to drop ics because I can't mainten two roms at the same time. Today the camera came at least partially working in jb(taking pictures is ok but buggy), so know it can be released for public.
Note: Disable sim card pin or you'll get bootloop. ( Thanks kai92)
Updating: (As my experience it's possible from aokp ics without wiping data. I've done that and it's ok. But do fix permissions, wipe cache, and I don't guarantee that all apps will work)
1.Flash current zip
2.reboot
3.reboot recovery
4 reflash gapps
Installation:
1.Backup all your data
2.Wipe everything
3.Install http://www.mediafire.com/?tff4uc1slkog9yt
6.Install this gapps zip
7.reboot and enjoy

If Google play doesn't start, wipe cache and dalvik cache, then reflash gapps zip.
Note for devs: In Jelly bean frameworks/av(formerly it was in base)/media/libmedia/mediaplayer.cpp setaudiostreamtype(int type) to setaudiostreamtype(audio_stream_type_t type), so overload this function and cast this argument every where to int. This makes libseccameraadaptor.so to load (at least for me)

you can see it at Settings>about phone (at least it works for other roms. and can you tell me how did you manage to install? cause i am doing the exact steps told at OP. but it isn't working for me.
without sim card it worked (without gapps) (i will try it with gapps now)
and rom uses 2.6.35.14 kernel.
correct me if im wrong i think this is the 1st JB ROM that has working camera

This ROM is fluid, rom control work flawless, although its 2.6.35 kernel but its pretty fast, camera working flawless (taking pics) but there's 2 camera icon, so I hide one. 8/10 scores. Thanks sir!

Good morning,
It happened the exact same thing:
booting for several minutes, for a brief moment (less than a second) the screen for choosing the country and starting and then, booting again.
I wiped everything and installed both zips.
Not start.
Awsome partialy working canera in JB rom thats make a whole new move ! Really a big thanks to dev ! Gonna try it soon

So far I noticed the app switcher crashes systemui and when I let it sit for a couple hours, it fell into deep sleep, and wouldn't wake up. Ill try again later with intersects kernal to see if it helps.

Some apps from market is causing MIUI iu to force close., (hmm seemed fixed after uninstalling an ice livewallpaper or re arranging some icons)
Live wallpapers are the only working wallpapers.
What about adding volume control at the notification bar? I (installed the app volume in Notification and it's working flawless)

OK it looks like a honeycomb tablet. So basically it's designed to run your phone in landscape mode then. I'm guessing in portrait all would look wrong based on the screenshots.

I still had sound incall just keep gps on when you want to reboot just like you would on cm7 but u can turn it off after reboot is complete

this should go in the OP because even I didnt have any in call audio and thought it was a bug which hasnt been fixed yet! but since this is a workaround for the audio bug..it should be in the op

Wow great rom! I did notice some bugs though... Not sure if it is just on my end or if it is the ROM
Issues:
1) The reboot to recovery option does not reboot me into recovery just a normal reboot... (Using latest TWRP)
2) Access control in the setting ask for a password to be set and when I try to set the password it does not seem to stick.
3) Sometimes the volume control for my Media does not work... It is just set and I cannot change the volume unless I reboot.
Will try to report back if I find anything else other than that keep up the great work! Amazing ROM!

I have missed MIUI since I got rid of my HD2, this is great.
I have one issue though, ROM only sees 1 directory on my external SD card. Astro file manager sees all but built in file manager, and other spps I install like Winamp do not .
Hope I didn't miss anything in the OP.

This started as Vertigo compiling Paranoid for the Musketeers and then after a while it was getting modified more and more. We then compiled it, to add even more 'Inverted Apps' and its got to the stage now where its all just about inverted.... when we made a collective decision to release it because it was 'good enough' so we thought why the hell not...
As stated Its just the plain compile, with Inverted cherry picks. We have added various things and taken some out to make it better for us and we will be releasing as is. If you want a plain standard version of Paranoid, use Molesarecoming official version as that is the benchmark we all try to rise too
We will endeavor to update at least once a week, and update the inverted apps accordingly. Some of the inverted apps I use like Google+ will obviously try to update through Play Store when they are updated. If you update it will revert it to normal, so just simply turn off auto updates for them
- I myself am not able to flash the rom so what i do relies heavily on the testers i use. my bootloader is locked unfortunately. I am actively seeking a device with unlocked bootloader as we can then take this rom to the next level

Bugs:

- proximity sensor during calls may go off and not return. may need soft reboot

INSTALL PROCEDURE:
- boot into recovery
- wipe all like data/factory reset, cache and dalvik cache in advanced
- format system from mounts and storage
- install dark passion zip and inverted gapps
- if using a kernel without recovery built in the flash cwm recovery zip at this point(optional)
- reboot and enjoy

it boots ok..the only thing I don't know if it really is a bug ..but as I said when you'll recieve a call ..the animation looks not so good and it's kinda laggy for 2 sec (but maybe only for me )

Also try cm10 kernel with it as that could improve any lags or graphic issues experienced

don't think it will boot off advanced stock or speed kernel as they are build from sony source code and this need aosp kernel

Its so quiet so trying to crank it up a notch however with nexus 4 announced at 239 for 8gig and £279 for 16 gig I can see many people leaving soon

I am not leaving... I just need to use the rom on daily basis... Could try it this weekend but cannot before that i am afraid..
The arc is quite old now and it has quite a lot of activity

but the normal one was working fine for me
it's wierd because it works for me perfectly ..what kernel did you had when you installed this rom ??
It would be awe if freq is overclocked.And i find some games little laggy too.Dont know if this is a issue only for me.Initially on my first install i had boot loops later it settled down.But on other hand this ROM is :good: :good: :good: :good: :good:

This ROM is compiled from the latest sources. It is a very snappy ROM; however it does not have as many theming options as ChameleonOS or PAC-man ROM. I have only had this phone for 6 days now, and this is now my second ROM for the device. LiquidSmooth has many features such as Performance Control and Pie Control, but still maintains the "lite" feel to it. Installation Instructions:
1.) download ROM and gapps and put them on your SD
2.) boot into recovery
3.) wipe data, cache and dalvik
4.) flash ROM and gapps. Seriously the ROM wont work well without gapps
5.) reboot and let it sit for 5-10 min
6.) enjoy!
7.) I am hearing great things about NOS so, If you want to use it go HERE:
8.) Unlock screen right side up, or it will get stuck upside down

Do not dirty flash you will have problems. And I'm using allot of cm10.1 stuff, but it is based on aosp

I think I found a bug. When in the camera mode, every time i tried switching to the FFC I'm getting an error about the gallery and the camera FC. Then launching the camera again I get another FC. Only by clearing the data of the gallery I get the camera working again. Anyone seen this issue?

I was listening to music for the past hour and that does not happen. Perhaps you were charging it while you were listening or something, but I doubt the problem is ROM related.
Edit: check your battery drain. If its really fast, for example streaming from Google play music, than that might be the reason its getting hot, although it won't matter if you have headphones in or not. Also maybe your pockets are warm. Sorry that's all the ideas I have.

boot animation

Probably not, I hate doing ports, I only like source builds. If they have sources for it than sure. Otherwise only if I suddenly find allot of extra time
