Problem viewing internal storage

I am trying to view my phone's internal storage within My Computer on a work laptop. However, I have a number of mapped drives and internal partitions that are taking up the following drive letters:
C D G H J K O R U W Y Z
When I connect my phone internal storage isn't showing. I have tried disconnecting from the network drives and the plugging in my phone via USB but this does not work. As far as I am aware all of the MTP drivers have been installed correctly.
Any ideas?

Issue resolved by re-installing drivers for the third time!

[Q] galaxy wonder DEAD??after swapper2 install

i need your help please , I tried to apply swap partition on my device hoping would give me extra ram. with mini tools partition i used 2 gb for linux swap partition (i have 32 gb class 4 sd card ) ,downloaded and installed swapper2 , run it and checking many options according to this tuto http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1659231
I turned off my phone, and when i tried to turn it on , nothing happened my phone was DEAD !!!!!!! or almost , no charging sign (pc or ac adapter),no recovery mode , no download mode, the only signe of life is the QHSUSB_DLOAD driver missin message when i connect it to pc
it seems that im not the only one having this probleme , but i cant find any solution while searching during two hard days , so please , if anyone of you can help , dont hesitate , thank you .
i will wait for your answers with impatience.

[Q] SD Card Format

Hi All,
I have quite a unique problem here.
For some reason i can not format my SD card. Here is what i am using:

I tried formatting in TWRP and that didnt work.
I tried Formatting inside android via the settings option and that doesnt work
I tried manually deleting the files and folders when i connect my phone to my pc and that didnt work.
I have a GT N7100 and rooted using Moon rom at the moment.
I tried XNote Rom and that didnt work
When i try to format the card it seems to format it and once it remounts the card its just the same.
When i try to delete the files manually, it shows that the files were deleted but when i restart my phone BOOM the files are there again.
When i try to download any new files and copy it over to the card it shows i have copied it correctly and when i restart the phone the files are gone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I had d same issue put ur card in a card reader or some nokia phones or phones which has mass storaage capability and plug it in and power on d comp in safe mood go to my comp n format it as fast as u can before d virus starts executing it ll b fine but i hav observed dat u hav 2 do it in safe mode itself

Exact same problem here. Formatting in CWM Recovery does nothing. Will try formatting in Windows via card reader. Very odd that this happened after I upgraded my stock ROM.

Turned out to be a defective Sandisk SD card. Has been replaced by Sandisk.

please do not do've tried several rom as avatar 3.0.1 ::: cm10.1.2 ::::: HONO ... and all give me the same problem ... update kerner wind 2.5 .... on the pc tells me not found the appropriate driver ... but that does not happen when I'm on android 2.3.5 stock att

You mean your computer doesn't see the card when your phone is connected by USB or your phone's OS doesn't see the card?

thanks for everything so I solved all ... was the computer did not recognize ... install one of the rom again and it seems the phone by itself is not put into mass storage so went to the secion where this and energetic but could not install the driver of the phone on the computer

[Q] SD not detected after 5.0.2 update

Hello , with kitkat I had no problem with SD , I updated with to lollipop with DE Generic 1279-6978 pre-rooted + dual recovery from picard47 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/son...5-0-242-generic-1279-6978-pre-rooted-t3083764 ) since then phone does not show SD althught it is mounted but if I play music stored there , it is played , also if connected to pc it is not shown , when connected if SD is unmounted and mounted again pc recognizes it but as soon as Inreboot the phonerom it has is disppeared , I have no xposed nor I have changed build.pro or anything , I have tried on other phone and no problem also I have formated several times on the phone and on pc.
It seems it is detected when mounted with phone on , but when phone rebooted it does not detec it

Test: Turn off device, remove Sd, turn the device on and off, and put Sd, and turn on the device.

Hi san13 , thanks but it did not work , on last reboot with sd on , it does not show on storage althought I can browse it with
root explorer nor I can see it on pc , I have tried with anothr sd and happens the same , but both work properly on other devices

At last I found out , it was busybox , as soon as I uninstalled it everything is ok with SD
