[Q] HBOOT 1.31 nad AOSP Roms - HTC One X

I'm on latest jelly bean firmare with hboot 1.31,and now I would like to try aosp based rom's,cm10,ice cold jelly and so on.
Can someone tell me is it possible right now because of upgrated hboot, and kindly explain it to me.
Thanks in advance.

You need to repack the kernel with the kernel posted by mdeejay
Online repack: http://nibble.cc/repack/
kernel from mdeejay: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32486421#post32486421
Unfortunately GPS id not working with the kernel from mdeejay
Best is to wait until developers create a kernel fully compatible with hboot 1.31

Seems fair. And I really hope that HTC releases kernel source code soon to,so everybody could move on to jelly bean rom's without problems.

Kernal help

What will be a good kernal to use on android 2.3.3??? I have the rom called Mik Z v. 1.16 with HTC Sense 2.1
Once HTC Releases the source code for the new kernel, the kernel geniuses will be able to dev a new release. Until then, we're stuck with the stock kernel
Thanks for letting me know

Use Jellybean ROM´s with HBoot 1.28

Hello
I have the ONE X with 1.28.
How i can run ROM´s without Sense ? I read that with another Kernel from mdeejay (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32486421) But how i can do that for other ROM´s ? And i read that i can use Sense Kernel from n3ocort3x for AOSP ROM´s.
I want to install ROM´s like SlimBean or JellyBean.

You need to repack the kernel you want with mdeejay's kernel ramdisk.Even then there is no guarantee it will work.To repack a kernel go here
Also n3o was kind enough to make kernels for both sense and AOSP so you can use the version that suits your need.
On a further note please post any questions in Q&A thread.
http://nibble.cc/repack/
Wich Kernel is here the Source IMG ? The one from the ROM or from mdeejay´s ?
And when i want n3ocort3x Kernel in Slim Bean.
What i must do ?
Repack the Slim Bean Kernel with n3o´x Kernel and then repack that with mdeejay´s Kernel ?
please post any questions in Q&A thread.

The one from mdeejay would be the source and n3os would be the other one.No need to do anything else.

hboot 1.28 and miui rom

hey guys, am using jealy bean rom rightnow and my hboot is ubgrade 1.28
now am trying to install miui rom. any miui rom, but it is not work.
this is due to the hboot i know it,but if any one has an idea to help please post.
sory for my english.
Other AOSP based ROMS have a kernel for the new hboot (which you might want to upgrade to 1.31) it might be worth trying that kernel, or looking for one in the MIUI thread.

[Q] Does having the JB kernel source mean we can install JB roms on any hboot?

My CID doesn't have JB yet. I was wondering if having the JB kernel sources released means that we could finally use the JB roms on older hboots?

What's wrong with the built in one? I'm currently trying to build the Andromadus 3.x kernel btw but am having some compilation issue; if I ever finish it, I'll share it.
