ur help is appreciated .... there is no shame in not knowing .... teach me plz
What exactly did you flash? Which specific phone was it made for? Is your phone completely non functional currently? can you get into clockworkmod? If you can, assuming you made a backup b4 flashing anything use it.

You can flash your stock recovery/kernel/radio/firmware via Odin through that screen
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1374868
follow the odin tutorial there to get back to your stock firmware via Odin then you can root again or install CWM
next time you decide to mess with your software MAKE SURE ITS COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR PHONE SPECIFICALLY
sounds like the OP was trying to flash something for the i9100 on the T989

You must have searched in a book on your coffee table or something, because you can't go more then half a day without an "ICS OUT YET?" post on here. There is even a semi-long thread called "ICS progress for the samsung SGS2 LTE" sitting right on the first page of this same sub section.
So before you try to be so sarcastic and snappy, use your head.

hi you've posted in the wrong section, this is suppose to be asked in q&a forum. but when you're rooted there is no carrier thats including google wallet because its still in works and there are things that carriers are doing differently. anyways but if you wanna get more info just google it for more info. and if you wanna flash google wallet again just search xda on top and you'll get your forum of how to flash and what not.
Sorry for posting in the wrong section but should I follow this thread to fix this issue or not ? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31142962#post31142962

Are you reading the post that was posted earlier in the thread with the link carefully? Its confirmed working. Please give it a good careful reread.
You do need a custom recovery for it to flash the google wallet fixes.

Xda isn't a place for you to just get answers to questions Cuz your too lazy to search. Need to reexamine how much you want Google wallet if your not even willing to look....come on man.

Here is thread to get you the proper recovery that works. I know the title says root but down in the thread there is a way to install a custom recovery.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28019751
The custom recovery requires you ro install it through adb on the computer or through the phone after you download the custom recovery with the app called "terminal emulator" in the play store.
This should be more than a good start for you. Please read. Please. I got this thing rolling by myself without help, I am sure you can too. Good luck.

ok. I decided to unroot and return to stock /factory reset. I still dont have google wallet. I cant remember if I did when the phone was brand new. Is this normal? I also have never had visual voice mail, I should have right?
Ok, I still cant figure this out. I flashed clockwork mod and I dont know what to do now. The video shows the guy with the wallet app already installed on his device. I dont have it. It seems I need to flash the app file? Im not sure which file to download. Please help Im really trying!

Download this one that is in the screenshot pic and follow the guide to change the build prop and eventually change it back after all the cards you want added to google wallet are on there.
BEFORE YOU DO IT THOUGH, MAKE A BACKUP IN RECOVERY.

[Q] Rogers CWM

Hi, I have a SG3 from Rogers Canada , already root and CWM 5.???? Is the version 6 is compatible and how I do the upgrade?
Thank you
Daniel
You need to do a little research before posting..... the thread right under yours is about the same thing!
Anyway here is the answer but search next time
Download your version of cwm there
http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager
Place it at the root of your sdcard and rename it recovery.IMG
Download terminal emulator from the play store. Run the terminal
type: su (press enter)
Then type: dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p18 (press enter)
Type everything right. If you get the last number wrong, you get a brick.
I did this on my phone to install cwm touch without any issues

I'm inclined to agree with the post above yours about reading a little more. Its all over this forum that all the phones hosted in here are the same EXCEPT the modems, therefore the recoveries are interchangable between the different carriers. If this doesn't clear things up then I would suggest you not flash your phone.

This sentence prove you are not ready to flash a new recovery. I don't say this to be mean, I'm sure you don't want to brick your phone! Read some more in the general section, it may help you.
However if you want to safely upgrade your recovery: you can download ROM manager from the play store to get cwm or goo manager to get twrp.

This link should answer all of your questions.
Search for CF Auto root by Chainfire in the original dev section
☞ Sent from here☜???
Just in case you didn't find it (follow the instructions on that post carefully):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2294005
You will not lose any features because of rooting. It is also reversible if you later need to unroot for some reason.

To unroot you could Odin the stock tar file or you could simply open the SuperSu app(it get install with Cf Autoroot) and choose the full unroot option.

Seriously, dude....there is a search button that will help you find any one of the 8 billion threads that already describe all of the steps to do everything you want to do.
There are guides already written with easy to follow step by step intructions.
When you registered here you agreed to use teh search button to try and find such threads for yourself. You've clearly not do that. I mean there are stickied threads with links to all this stuff. They are the first threads on the top of the threads lists!
A minute of searching could have prevented the entire need for this thread. And that's important as we can't have every new user asking the same question abotu how to root. The answers are already out there for a reason.
Rooting alone will not make your phone faster.

There's a search function for a reason and the devs on here don't have time to just hold your hand and walk you through everything you have to be willing to help yourself and learn how to do things on your own and then if you have a problem or run into trouble then ask for assistance but don't ask to have your hand held through it all.. Learn about what Odin is and stock roms And a few other things in order to accomplish a downgrade..

Here you go.. Make sure you substitute the Verizon firmware for the AT&T firmware as @TechNyne66 said, the OGG firmware.. As long as it's firmware from AT&T you should be good to go.. However if it still errors out and doesn't work that means they (AT&T) have blocked it and you'll have to enter into recovery and select full system restore in order to fix it and get it back to where it is right now.. I'd first make a backup if I were you!!

If you are past the the PH4 update this is not the thread for you.
If you are still on PH4, stop trying to downgrade your bootloader, unless you are flashing a Binary 3 bootloader.
All of this has been explained within this forum. Check my profile and go to my posts. I've already wrote it all up two or three times...
