Hi,
As Matt95 say with fastboot, you seens to have forget to flash the associated boot.img file.
Reboot your phone in fastboot mode and type:
fastboot flash boot XXX.img (XXX.img is the name of your file)
fastboot erase cache
That should boot.

Did you flash boot.img ?

[Q] Stuck on Google boot Logo

I downloaded Nexus Toolkit 7.9 and ran a factory flash and unroot. Now im stuck on this Google boot screen. Iv'e tried to go into recovery nothing but boot logo. Ive tried doing almost every option. What else can I try? Help Please.
Advice not use toolkits, but that's your choice
Boot to fastboot and make sure your still unlocked, if not
fastboot oem unlock
Then wipe partitions again
fastboot erase system -w
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase recovery
Now flash new recovery
fastboot flash recovery nameofrecovery.img
Now boot to new recovery and go to advanced
Choose adb sideload
adb sideloade romofchoice.zip
Then probably need gapps
adb sideload gapps.zip
Now rebbot to ROM
These steps are to get you up and running with a custom ROM if you want stock unroofed than from fastboot lock bootloader and flash stock ROM of choice

I've had the same issue and am still having it. Your tablet must be like mine where it doesn't like the new kitkat bootloaders. No one has been able to help me so far yet either so I will watch this thread as well
you can follow the instruction in this thread. I got boot loop too. And this tool worked like a charm

Unable to update recovery

After a long string of flashing failures with this device, I'm needing to update the recovery.
Unfortunately after it let me downgrade the recovery, no matter what recovery I flash (CWM latest or TWM) for the HTC One X, the god damn older version is still there.
I've tried updating it through One X One Click and CWM itself. But I have no idea what's going wrong or what's needed to be done.
[Edit]
Okay, it seemed to install with no errors this time.
Now I just have to figure out why the heck it always displays "HTC quietly brilliant" forever.

so, which recovery did you install? which rom are you trying to install?
Recovery. Img is to be flashed through fastboot and not in recovery itself
Go in your fastboot folder
Open cmd there and give commands
Fastboot flash recovery recoveryname.img
Fastboot erase cache
And you're good to go

Hello,
I have the same problem;
I was on recovery CMW 6.0.4.4. I tried to update to 6.0.4.5 or philz. Fastboot says okay after install, but when I restart to recovery, recovery is still 6.0.4.4.
What I haven't done is erase cache. Could this be it? Cannot try for the moment because I'm at work.
Thanks

yes, it might be... try to flash again recovery and to erase cache after OKAY message...
I tried it again with fastboot and than erase cache : doesn't work
Than I copied the recovery zip file to sdcard and installed it through clockworkmod recovery 6.0.4.4. Everything installed ok but when I reboot recovery it is still 6.0.4.4?
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
The zip is of no use, the recovery.img has to be flashed via fastboot (s-on devices have no other choice) try to flash a different recovery to check that works. Maybe the recovery is a bad download
I've found the solution.
It was a problem with my fastboot extension.
Thanks anyway

Stuck in bootloader

I've been trying to flash an AT&T HTC One M8 with the GPe ROM found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2706441
I've used this guide and everything went fine: http://htc-one.wonderhowto.com/how-to/unlock-bootloader-root-your-htc-one-m8-0154444/
I was in the TWRP Recovery and wanted to format the internal sd card for a fresh start, so I formatted. Afterwards I was unable to get back into the recovery, for some reason I can't erase or format recovery using fastboot, erasing the cache and flashing the recovery image again only brings me to a flickering TeamWin screen, then tries to normally boot but nothing is there for it to boot into so it just sits in a boot loop.
I've tried Philz recovery as well. That works for a little bit but after 10-15 seconds the phone tries to boot normally again and I get stuck in the boot loop.
I tried running `fastboot oem rebootRUU`, that brought me to a black HTC screen and gave me the ability to use fastboot. In RUU mode, I erased the cache again and reflashed the recovery, then erased the cache again and rebooted to fastboot. Tried to boot into Recovery and was greeted with the flickering TeamWin logo and a boot loop.
Can anyone give me a hand here?
If fastboot erase cache doesn't allow you to get into recovery, I can only suggest you're flashing the wrong or a corrupted recovery. Re-download the correct one and flash it.

running cyanogenmod but now cant get into recovery?

I successfully flashed cyanogenmod 11x last night. I followed the steps and everything works great! The phone boots fine, all features work ok. I had a slight issue of it hanging on the CM logo, but I powered down, booted to hboot > factory reset, and it booted up fine the second time.
Strangely, I don't seem to be able to get into recovery any more? if I go into hboot > recovery it just boots CM. I tried flashing the recovery again using fastboot, as I did when first installing CM, but it still doesn't work. Next I installed Rom Manager, installed the latest CWM, and rebooting into it from there - Still doesn't work.
Any suggestions?
I had the same problem i was flashing the boot.img in the recovery partition. Fastboot flash recovery [recovery.img]
Fastboot flash boot [boot.img]

[Q] My HTC one X is stuck in a bootloop....help needed

G'day guys,
I tried to install the CM 11 Rom on my phone (HTC One X 2012 international model), i unlocked the bootloader on the Htcdev site, rooted the phone successfully,
then i rebooted in recovery using ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.4.0, made a back-up rom then wipe data/factory reset and installed CM 11 rom (cm-11-20140804-SNAPSHOT-M9-endeavoru.zip) and
it came up with Status 7 error and install aborted.....and now it's stuck in a boot loop, when i reboot it boots back into the Clockwork Mod recovery
I tried turning it off and restarting, i've ran the battery down but it still reboots in cwm recovery...
Is there anyway to fix this or have i stuffed my phone?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

Too old recovery you must to use TWRP6.0.1 or higer to be able to install CM11 becouse is KitKat based rom read the OP in CM11 thread and download correct TWRP or CWM. Try with this CWM6.0.4.8
Thanks, I downloaded the CWM 6.0.4.8 like you said, now i have to try and get it out of the boot loop, I've tried about 6 different sites and their methods to fix it but none of them have worked, its still stuck in recovery mode.
My phone doesnt even register when i plug it into my pc either.
Is there any advice you can give to help with this?

Tried to flash boot.img, pressed enter and it stayed on "waiting on device".
Got into bootloader on phone and even tried a factory reset and got nowhere.
Everytime i selected an option in bootloader ie. fastboot, recovery, it just reboots into recovery.
